The only reason her hair's diffrent was for a flashback.
But didn't you notice after Sasori and Deidara jumped off the fingertips of the huge hands something loud happened. It went back into the ground. Remember when they both brought back Gaara and Pein summoned the huge thing with eyes out of the ground? So, it all makes sence. Eveyone could notice. (Not trying to be rude. Just saying what happened.)

Sakura sure did improve during the years of training. When she was training she was getting kicked around, but not now. If she was any weaker than Sasori would have punched her lights out.
