SUMMARY OF NARUTO SHIPPUDEN 219
In the last episode of Naruto Shippuden 218 preparations for The Fourth Great Ninja War began. There were doubts that Hidden Leaf would be quick to respond as they have Hokage issues. Hidden Sand has Gaara and he is just too young to know anything about war. Gaara assembled the Hidden Sand to contemplate the strength of Akatsuki. He vouched to unite shinobi's power. Naruto, Kakashi, Sakura and the rest of the group have returned home to Hidden Leaf Village. Kakashi brought forth Karin for investigation. Karin worked for Orochimaru, then joined up with Sasuke as a shinobi for the Akatsuki. She was present when Danzo died in the hands on Sasuke, hence she needs to be briefed. Kakashi is expected to restore order in Hidden Leaf.

Naruto asks his friends to battle with Sasuke alone. Tenten was first to object. Naruto admits that he doesn't think he could get him now. Not with what he knows anyway. At the last strike with Sasuke he found out that if they fought they both would die. Naruto doesn't say that though. He merely admits that he is the only one that could fight him. A conference among Feudal Lords is requested to call for a new Hokage. Advice is being offered to Kakashi. Be like Hiruzen and Danzo. Things will be well. Kakashi does not like what he hears as he is not prepared to condone what Danzo stood for and promoted.



Old rivalry of Kakashi Sensei and Guy sensei are resurfacing. Guy sensei challenged Kakashi sensei ... no rock, paper or scissors though. Guy wants to have a race with his eternal rival Kakashi. Who won? Kakashi did. Guy congratulated him to becoming a Hokage and handing him flowers said: "...you probably won't b able to accept my challenges so easily." Kakashi probably surprised Guy when he asked for continuing support.



Kakashi's Great Stone Face has to be carved on the wall. Measurements are taken. Meeting of Feudal Lords is brief as recommendations of Kakashi becoming a Hokage are quickly accepted. Kakashi sensei is about to be appointed the sixth (or seventh) Hokage of Hidden Leaf Village. Suddenly, Guy sensei storms into the conference room to announce that Lady Tsunade, the fifth Hokage of Hidden Leaf woke from her long standing coma and is life and well. Tsunade is quickly reinstated and Kakashi is happy to go home. Naruto is summoned to the Great Lord Elder to hear his prophecy. The title of the next episode of Naruto Shippuden 220 is "Prophecy of the Great Lord Elder". Watch it with us next Thursday July 14th right here on TailedFox.
