nothing amazing happens here, everything is ordinary, the huge factory that can be seen from our town, the plant, all the adults got exited when it came here, like it was really a big thing, the white steam that billows out everyday at the same time it looked to me like smoke that signified some kind of omen, smoke that spreads out and covers everything...

Everyone thinks that courage is facing death without flinching. But almost anyone can do that. Almost anyone can hold their breath and not scream for as long as it takes to die. True courage is facing life without flinching. I don't mean the times when the night path is hard, but glorious at the end.
