Since the last one was posted over a year ago... I figured I'd just make a new thread rather than being a necro and reviving a long dead one...

So, got a weird dream you had? Or perhaps a dream that was just there? Well, then post it here! Also, post whatever else on dreams you'd like to.

Anyway, I felt like posting this dream I had last night because... well it felt oddly real to me, like it was actually happening. I just get the feeling that the dream will happen. Perhaps not in the exact context, but somehow the events will come true. Like.. maybe my dream was a giant metaphor and various aspects of it were metaphors for reality. Anyway, enough of that, meh dream:

Well, my dream started out in space. There were elements of a game I played in it, but that's not important. Where I think it started to become more important was when it showed a guy staring out of the window of a space ship looking down on an overgrown forested Earth. There were almost no signs of "civilized" life.

Another person walked up next to him and looked out asking "You wanna know the story behind your planet's fall?" to which the one man nodded. The one guy kinda sounded... snake-like a bit and I never saw his face, but he said "Okay then, it went like this:"

"The end of the world happened when one country gained nuclear capabilities" (my mind said it was in 2012, but I think that's just the bandwagon saying that, also my mind assumed it was one of the unstable countries, but what country, it never said) "Shorty after that country gained nuclear power, something happened causing India to launch a massive nuclear strike against Pakistan, then the entire world fell apart." Then in my dream the one man pressed a button which made this giant hologram around Earth showing as missiles began firing off and blowing up all over the planet. Everyone was hit, except a couple of the southern countries of Africa, parts of Australia, and Chili and Argentina.

After that, the dream skipped to me, in my house, on the ground, right after the world went kaboom basically. Somehow, plumbing still worked, but all vehicles and electronics didn't. All cars had their tires melted along with their rims to streets basically welding them to wherever they were and none would start. Buildings and roads were still intact, but nature was taking over.

Anyway, I remember standing in my darkened house at night looking, my roommate and his friend were there, both being very quiet (not their norms). We had candles going and I asked "So, what should we do?"

My dream skipped to another house, one that was very similar to mine, and I'm guessing a few months later as it was being taken over by nature. I saw some women sitting in a corner, staring out a window crying. Me my roomy and his friend nodded at each other and I asked the women to come with us. After a few moments she smiled, nodded, then my dream skipped again.

It was now day I think another month passed and it was now October 20th. (I know it was that month because of later on in the dream) Me, my roommate, the girl and now two others (a girl who called everyone master and a a stereotypical, loudmouthed black girl) were down in Colorado Springs at an intersection I know rather well. 8th Street and Highway 24 for those who live in Colorado

Anyway, as we walked through this intersection, we saw a car drive by, one that worked. It pulled in to one of the gas stations at this intersection. At this point, my group saw more people appear. They looked kind of like the typical post-apocalyptic group crossed with the zombies of the Resident Evil movies. They all saw the car driving around, and quickly surrounded it as it pulled in to the gas station. The girl who was driving the car was pulled out of the car and pretty much torn apart. I remember one of the people shouting "Finally! With fewer people in this world, gas prices will drop!" to which another in that group saying "You dumbass! What good's gas if we have no usable cars?!"

I did noticed they were all kind of gathered around a gas pump that said $3.28 a gallon on it, in fact, it said that number on all the pumps and the gas station sign. It was kind of like they worshiped it.

The one girl who called everyone master, (and by now was dressed in like 1800's slave clothing for some reason) freaked out, started crying because she saw an ex, then chased after him, got to the edge of an overgrown road and began to run when my group stopped her because there were mines. She hopped over one then ran off and we never saw her again.

My dream skipped a bit more, and my group was around a table staring out a window of some building.

I said, "I doubt we'd want to stay here for winter, October is 20th seems to be when it likes to start to snow. (Ironically, it started snowing yesterday, but I didn't know it was until today since it was night and my windows were closed, etc, etc) We should move somewhere else." Then I walked over to my roommate, who now looked wide-eyed and constantly stared out windows and asked where he was going and in a monotone, distant sounding voice, he said "We are going east." (referring to him and his friend) I told him we'd follow him since I have family over on the east coast.

Then, my group talked about what we should bring for such a trip. We all agreed to avoid stores and raid empty houses for food due to people being crazed at stores. Some kid that randomly appeared with another guy said we need baby stuff for the one girl's child and we all agreed. After we had a list, it was like I became the leader and assigned everyone jobs to do. So, I told the kid, one of the women, and some other guy to go search for food, told roomy's friend to help me look for a vehicle that was still working since we knew some would be after seeing the one woman driving the car. We left my roomy in the place we were at as he just wandered back and forth while staring out a window towards a mountain here (Pike's Peak), looking a bit like he was losing it, mumbling about how "We must go East!"

Then I woke feeling very much happy about the dream. Like.. I felt really good like I had really been in charge and was the one who was appointed the leader. That dream so felt very much real and I still feel like I did something really important even though it was just a dream.

I just... have a feeling though that dream may happen. As I said, maybe not in the same context, but I have a feeling if not in that context, then in whatever way the metaphor of that dream was will happen.

I keep remembering thinking of the year 2020 in that dream as when it all went down... I do know that gas will reach $3.28 a gallon again at least here... Seems when i dream of prices on gas, they tend to come true... and this wouldn't be the first time I've had gas prices in my dreams XD

ok this gonna sound weird but most of my dreams are just little snapshots or a movie that lasts a couple seconds and sometime even years later they almost aways happen and it is freaking me out a bit but its also kinda cool so what do you guys thing? am i insane or something?

Anyways, in my dreams i can actually see myself in action and everything... I know bizarre. Actually all dreams are bizzare. Anyways, here's my lastest one! And it is like half of a quater's of shino... Cuz I don't write that much in detail!

So here's my most recent dream;

I'm on a boat, with a couple of friends... And there is like this giant basine of milk! O_O I love milk in real, so as well in the dream. So anyways, with the big basin of milk, my friends and I magically get glasses(no the ones you wear but the ones that can be refered to as cups! ^^) and we dip the glasses in the big basin(or bucket) of milk... Then we drank! ^^ lol I know that was random but i felt like writing it. Anyways... Aren't dream all wacky and not really understandable?

EDIT: Has anybody every wonderedwny you can't ran properly in dreams? lol I have... Does anybody know why?

No idea nat, but I can run properly with no problems at all...
In fact I can do much more things in my dreams, yeah I can even see myself.
Many of you know I can control my dreams, you know, make my dreams.
(Many times I let it just go by and don't interfere xD)

There is this one time, where I dreamt of going to the States, the white house
to be exact. I had to sneak around the security, hidden camera, go down in the
secret passageway (probably to one I've seen on movies ) in order to get to Obam.
After all those mission impossible stuns I finally reached the door and entered in,
only to see Killer Bee instead of Obama, standing inside and rapping on TV for the
US Citizens. I was even more surprised when I noticed the camera man was Naruto xD

Well, perhaps your have the ability to see your own future a bit... Though... some will probably say it's a coincidence or you're just relating a couple things...

Maybe you are seeing a bit of your future... I know that any time I've dreamt of gas prices, as I said in my post, those gas prices tend to come around...

I pay attention to details a lot Especially since I'm one of those people who think dreams can tell you about your current self or near future self... so yeah... Anyway, on the running thing, it could be perhaps that when ya run in dreams, your body's trying to do it in real life, but it can't.

On that note... Waking dreams rather suck... the dreams where your eyes are open, and you can see your room, but it feels as if you've got a lead suit on you and it's near impossible to move... And you tend to see some rather insane stuff sometimes XD

My dreams are pretty blurry and i do see them black and grey. I barely remember anything I dream, only if it's something like... remarkable and shocking.

Never had a really interesting dream to tell, except for the naughty ones

Well... I had a pretty fucked up dream last night XD It made me laugh like crazy...

Well, a frenemy from my class said something, then someone in my class again replied then appereantly Ichi was there and like "You better watch out before he retard-ZZZZZ's you."
And then Zoro, no, not from One Piece xD came in, riding a motorcycle shaped like a horse wearing a Halo suit.
And I was in the middle, then I woke up D:

Most of my dreams recently all involve video games that I have played. Long ago I used to have action dreams with extreme detail(vision, tactile ect...) I don't remember any of the long story dreams I had right now tho.

rofl that would be epic i've had dreams with characters from mangas before and zombies an i always know when im dreaming and sometime i can control them too
