Copper Sun by Sharon M. Draper
This book is about a girl who was abducted to be a slave and how she escaped from the plantation. I highly recommend this book, definitely one of my absolute favorites.
She also had a trilogy of books before that:
1. Forged by fire (Really good but kind of an easy read)
2. tears of a tiger (It is good but kind of sad)
3. Darkness before dawn (The best out of all of them)
I read mostly of vampires, magic and paranormal situations
Anything written by Anne Rice is brilliant
even though Twilight has a weird version of vampires I like it too
what can I say I love Harry Potter too
The House of Night series, not that good but I got hooked
The Mortal Instruments' series, brilliant...The Infernal Devices is going to be released soon
Chill of Fear by Kay Hooper is really nice lots of suspense
I could keep going but Ill stop, those are more for teens/young adults others are too serious or too *cough* graphic *cough* well I could take Anne Rice out of this list because she doesnt fit that innocent and teen like reading material but she's awsome I cant leave her out lol or Dan Brown (even though I disagree with lots of his views on life) and Stephen King

The bible It's entertaining, I guess. At least it has some of the best sex-literature I've ever read. But it gets slightly boring to the end.
What can I really reccomend... I don't think this is a global choice in anyone's interest but one of the books that has impressed me beyond my own belief is: "Measuring The World"
One of the most ingenious books ever written.

Anne Rice, those're some vampire books there. Not some tween girl bullshit with pretty vampires who step out into the sun and get prettier. If you want a good vampire romance that actually abides by the lore, plus is very funny, Christopher Moore's Bite Me.
And like I said earlier, if anyone has an interest in existentialism, read Kurt Vonnegut. [I]Slaughter House Five or The Children's Crusade is wonderful. So is Cat's Cradle. Shit, it's all good. Robert Camu too (with an blue emu, wearing a shoe in da loo, playing the kazoo, woo hoo!).
For suspense drama thriller whatchmacallems, Alex Cross is a fantastic author that I've read recently.
