Well thats easy.......McCain!!!
Im not a fan of poor healthcare plans and freely giving money to the people that didnt work for it thought pattern like Obama is. Oh and it might be interesting to note that the democratic party also voted for the things bush and Mccain voted for, why, because they were small bills that really didnt do a whole lot. And come on why would you want to vote for obama? The guy flip-flops his plans to let the people hear what he wants to hear. Then theirs his lack of experiance and socialist views. Plus thats bad war ethics to destroy a country with war then suddenly leave. I mean Come on Obama, wats wrong with you? (take note that its not all bushs fault for our economic possition seems how the house of reps passed most of the BS docks. Thanks Democrats! lol) |

I have a rant on political parties that I'm not going to go into right now, and since I can't vote, I've been a very lazy american and have not followed the campaign very much... but I have watched a couple debates (or at least part of the debates) and would probably vote Obama if I was 18.

I guess you'd classify me as a democrat, although I think voting for someone JUST because they're considered a democrat or a republican is ridiculous and uneducated. Like right now, Obama rocks. But if he didn't appeal to me the way he does, I would certainly consider voting for McCain.

I would vote Obama, since to be honest I cant even imagine seeing mckain as a president.. I dont like the way he does things, and him having been a war prisoner shouldnt be a point in a debate 50 years later... not to mention, since mckain is so old, he might die, and if he die, Sarah Palin becommes president, and that would be unimaginably hellish

But then again with Obama, I could see him being a guy that might become highly targeted for assassination. Don't really have a specific reason why I think that, but someone like him who's trying to take such a huge revolutionary role in America's future is likely going to see a lot of enemies. But I think Biden is an excellent VP candidate (imo probably the best Presidential candidate as well, based on his broad political knowledge, democratic ideals, and overall experience) and he could take strong control if the need should arise. I'm voting for Obama mostly because I think it's time for this country to move in a different direction, and if it's in the direction that Obama is claiming, I'm more than happy to give him my vote. With McCain, while his policies might differ somewhat from the Bush Administration's, he is still in support of us remaining in Iraq, and he will continue follow Republican themes of giving huge tax cuts to the upper class. Obama claims he's going to cut taxes on the middle to lower class and more importantly end this stupid war in the Middle East ASAP. Sounds like a winner to me. Obama may not have the political experience of a John McCain, but honestly, is there anyone who has experience in commanding a White House Administration and leading a nation? I think not. Don't get me wrong, McCain has plenty of experience, as a Senator, but being the President is a completely different kind of position. |

Sakura is definitely right on the party thing.
Also wanted to note...race, I hate when people make this election about race...Its ridiculous to vote for Obama because he's black, even worse to NOT vote for him for that same reason...Its qualifications, not anything else. Anyway... I know everyone seems to think that Palin is just one huge mistake in McCains campaign and shouldn't be anywhere near the office...but I think she's just as experienced as Obama. Less, probably...However she's a politician that doesn't jump from one thing to another. The real race should be between McCain and Obama anyhow and I have a hard time believing that McCain is gonna kick the bucket while in office...he's just old. So I'm not sure that someone should consider that when deciding their vote... Back to Palin though.. she has good plans for energy too and I think its refreshing to see a candidate in office that doesn't come off like a manipulator...With her you get what you get. I can't say with confidence that I believe Obama will back all of his promises...like I said, he broke one already. He's hiding things from the public...and he's gone back on his word or changed his words too many times for me to think they're solid. As for the war...though war is something that no one wants...I still think its completely necessary. For anyone who wasn't aware too, things are getting a lot better over there. This explains it a lot better than I can... Everyones entitled to their opinions though...those are just mine. |

Humm, I'd vote for Obama like I said earlier, but since the main question is "Democrat of Republican" my answer is that I'm not either of them. I would consider myself between Comunism and Socialism!
