They say that when it rains, it pours. But when does the rain stop?
Seriously. I want to know. Ontop of everything going on in my life right now, this cat I was planning to adopt was hit by a car and killed this morning, and its all my fault for not taking him inside yesterday when I was going to. Seriously, when does it end?...

Cant really answer any questions... cept I do believe strongly that everything happens for a reason. I just cant give you a reason.
But dont blame yourself for it. You definitely couldnt have known that, so its not your fault in any way, shape, or form. I hope you feel better. x(

I can sympathize Sakura. I could have stopped my cat from getting outside when it was horribly attacks by teenagers, but I was so sick I could barely stay awake. I still blame myself for not being well even though there was nothing I could do.
It took us over a month before we considered adopting kittens and now we've got two very sweet cats that otherwise would have most likely died or lived the rest of their lives in the miserable shelter. So it's not all bad /V_V\, but I still miss Smokey so much....

*thinks for a moment* Well, just remember that without the rain, you could never get something like a flower. So think of it this way: It's not bad that these negative things are happening, perhaps they're all things that need to happen for you to get something better. Like... all the bad stuff is fertilizer and something in your future is going to be a flower.
(sorry, that was just a terrible metaphor) But don't let it get you down, It always seems to rain, you just need to learn to have fun in the rain...

Great...  I like your style of thinking... back on topic... How could have you know... It's not your fault... It's the drivers fault... Life gives and takes away... That's how it goes... We need to lose something in order to gain other... So yeah don't feel down cuz of it... After the rain the sun goes up and with it you even get something extra Rainbow Just wait for it.. Well, Think about it. Life is a cycle, which you can't change *thinks to self...."Hm, can you?"* Changing something will not affect the final result. As a way or another things die, nothing is immortal, you can't blame yourself for the cat's death. Things happen without giving any signal, many other things could have happened to the cat, to you, and nothing can be changed. What I'm trying to get to; is that you can't change what happened and it's not your fault. That's simply how life works. This may seem pesimistic, but it's true; you can't think of things that can be changed, you have to live and forget your bad memories. Edit: That's my theory of why people go "spoiled*": They know life will end, they just want to do something to amuse anybody; no matter how many people they kill because they are anyway going to die. If you think about it, our society lives to die, otherwise, why couldn't our genes be designed for supreme beings. Also, this links to feelings. Thanks to feelings we're weak, but we survive. *Depending of your point of view

I really can't understand what you're going through, i would just like to say...but there have been some rather bad events happening in my life. They were all almost one right after the other (though i will not discuss them, they're rather personal~), and it made me realized one thing. The rain never stops. Even if it's a very light rain, rain is still rain. But, I would also like to say, that even in the hardest of storms there will ALWAYS be a beam of light, even if it's very small and tiny, maybe no bigger than a hair. Those are the thing you have to look for, the small beam of light.
(...geez, why was i talking metaphorically???)
