Yeah.. I hate when people do that. Choose based on dumb things..like sex, or race. That reminds me of an article I read about an african american that was supporting McCain who was at one of his rallies..publicly expressed his support, and now hes getting hate mail on his facebook and what not from people calling him a 'traitor to his race.' Like whats that about..? Since when did we decide who should be voting for based on that? Its..retarded.

Youre right though Sakura. Absolutely.

Just because you dont agree with political views..doesnt make it right to demonstrate such hate for the opposing candidate.

Wow, that's ridiculous! I cannot believe some people would be so ignorant as to vote based on race, sex, religion, ect. without getting the facts first, and then SLANDERING those who DO.

Yeah, that is absolutely disgusting... It's a prejudice to think that all black people must vote for the black candidate...

yea even though I PERSONALLY think EVERYONE should be supporting Obama, ESPECIALLY the minorities(Cuz they'll be the first ones complaining and dissing McCain years from now like they did Bush)

I still think it's retarded to go bashing people on facebook and whatnot and called them a traitor.

Cuz I know if a white person did that I'd be PISSED. lol

On an offtopic rant: I have a few female friends who are voting for McCain just because it would potentially put a woman in the White House. Um, I'm sorry, but voting for someone just because she has ovaries isn't a good enough reason.
That's why I kinda which Obama chose Hillary. This race would be OVER. lol

She'd have all the votes that Sarah Palin sorta kinda won for McCain.

The lowest since like last year? I'm sure they're getting oil somehow.

And seriously, they need to find another way to fuel cars.

What are you gonna do when the oil runs out in the earth? It obviously won't last forever. Why can't they use a lab made source of fuel?
I think lab made source of fuel is a lot more work and cost then it's actual worth to the public.

I LOLed when you talked about special rights, hehe....so true.

He could have said, "I am a white, and whites are the majority race in America, so vote for me.", but he didn't. I feel that it's wrong anyway. Obama is not winning votes through his own capability when he mentions his lineage to get more votes, he is making use of his race. So the Presidential race is no longer a measure of one's capability, but also one's race and religion, plus other factors as well, and the ones who win the election may not be the most capable ones or the ones most suited for the posts.
Not really sure about your comment on Obama, being mixed is a part of him and it's only natural that he mentions his background to identify with other minorities I guess...

Both sides are getting a little ridiculous too when it comes to things like that..

Anyways..

Just two things that bother me are the way the public is easily inclined to believe Obama. The whole reverend Wright thing had no affect, and the ACORN speculations havent either. If all of that had been on McCains record, or even speculated, then he would be getting absolutely slammed right now..

I think McCains a good choice only because hes a good enough balance of Republican and Democratic..for me anyways. Hes got the experience too, and you have to acknowledge that this guy spent over 5 years as a prisoner of war.. So you could say that he had been willing and will stay willing to do a lot for America.

I dont know though man.. its up in the air. Obama and McCain both seem qualified in my mind, I just favor McCain when it comes to some subjects..
McCain's an old man. To push a slogan of "change" for an old man is almost beyond comical. Ask your grandpa to learn the internet proficiently. It'll take light years....and that's only one new thing! To change the entire country on various policies? That's an entirely new ideal that won't happen realistically we're talking here! McCain's a nice guy with great ethics off camera no doubt, but nice grandpas don't necessary make a great president who's pushing under the slogan of "change". Palin? I have no idea how she can step up to the plate when she's got close to no experience with the government.

The president is the visionary while the vice president is the executioner. For someone who says she can see Russia from her window is pure newb IMO. I'm really curious on how she plans to execute anything...sorry the reason he picked her is for pure votes.

Obama? bad apple as well. Bad ethics but has picked a great and experienced running mate! He's inexperienced and honestly, there are still lots of question in terms of his capability to lead the country as well. He's polished, but then again he's got tons of advisers telling him what to do.

So you've got two bad apples and to pick the better out of two is not easy. So make your pick soon and vote!!

Well the choice for me really isnt that hard, Pro McCain.

I really dont feel Obama is suited for president, come on, "spread the wealth". Yeah takeing even more money from the people that worked hard for what they got and give it to government to pocket is really spreading the wealth. And come on why would we want to switch to a healthcare system that other countries use and lowers their economy. 15% of our health care services are to people that travel from places with the same type of healthcare as obama.

This is McCains healthcare Plan:

-UNDER THE McCAIN PLAN, if your employer pays for your health insurance, what the employer spends would be included in your taxable income. But then your family would get the $5,000 tax credit to offset any resulting tax. Suppose you are a middle class family in the 25% income tax bracket, and your employer pays $1,000 a month for your health insurance, $12,000 for the year. The resulting tax would be only $3,000, which would be more than covered by the $5,000 tax credit. So there would be no tax coming out of your paycheck due to the McCain plan. Moreover, quite contrary to Obama's nonsense, the tax credit would not only go to you to make sure you didn't pay any additional tax, but there would be $2,000 left over in this case that you could exactly put in your bank account, a Health Savings Account in fact. You could spend that on health care as well, perhaps for deductibles or co-payments, for example, or uncovered care. So you would come out ahead.

Suppose you are a highly paid executive in the top 35% income tax bracket (applying to families making over $357,700 a year), and your company pays for a very generous health plan for you costing $24,000 a year ($2,000 a month). The resulting tax would be $8,400, which, after the $5,000 tax credit, would leave a net tax increase for this rich family of $3,400. But as discussed above, the great majority of those with employer provided insurance, particularly the middle class and working people, would come out ahead on net. And if your employer doesn't provide coverage, then, again, your family would have $5,000 to help pay for health insurance that it doesn't have today.

And come on it just makes more sence to vote McCain. And when they say McCain voted with bush 90% of the time they dont tell you they were minor issues the democrates including obama voted the same.

Oh and here is a experiment of Redistribution of wealth:

In a local restaurant my server had on a "Obama 08″ tie, again I laughed as he had given away his political preference-just imagine the coincidence.
When the bill came I decided not to tip the server and explained to him that I was exploring the Obama redistribution of wealth concept. He stood there in disbelief while I told him that I was going to redistribute his tip to someone who I deemed more in need-the homeless guy outside. The server angrily stormed from my sight.
I went outside, gave the homeless guy $10 and told him to thank the server inside as I've decided he could use the money more. The homeless guy was grateful.
At the end of my rather unscientific redistribution experiment I realized the homeless guy was grateful for the money he did not earn, but the waiter was pretty angry that I gave away the money he did earn even though the actual recipient deserved money more. I guess redistribution of wealth is an easier thing to swallow in concept than in practical application.
