I suppose so. But even if some reverse racism does exist, it's not even close to the amount that whites have towards blacks and illegal mexicans(And I'm an immigrant so I feel for both)

Of course they might return the hate in some ways, which is wrong, but still.

And as far as the most common/ important form of racism, institutional racism, that almost doesn't exist with other races because they are all minorities, and aren't in the position of power to do such things.

Also I know I shouldn't but I can't help but get offended when people say that Obama would get assassinated if he were to get elected. It makes me feel really uncomfortable as an African American in the USA. I am pretty sure if something like that were to happen, you would hear stories about the african americans in the US doing rallies, hurting white people, and among other things.
Well it's definitely a possibility.

and yes there WILL be some riots. lol. It'll almost be like Martin Luther King all over again.

I swear I might even go crazy, lol.

Not sure about that statement.
I am a Super Obama supporter so I had to watch the debate with his vp. I thought it was a good debate, I couldn't help but laugh because Palin kept winking all the time. I felt that Palin didn't know how to answer a lot the question so she would start talking about ENERGY.
lol

Random women out of Alaska? LOL...

I believe McCain picked Palin because of that house question which he couldn't really answer how many houses he owned really pulled him down on the polls. Palin was suppose to be someone symbolic as someone who's down to earth and bubbly which McCain lacks to compliment him.

I don't watch too much politics, but for me, I'm an Obama supporter. In my opinion, his great ideas aren't just talks, but if he becomes president, he will try to make them come true. You can already see how he helped make the solution for the bailout plan that the house of representatives thinks will be successful. He is not even president, and yet he has already helped create a solution for America's economy problem.

McCain, no offense but I think he's just some Old Geezer who thinks he knows everything in the world. Really with him, it'll just be Bush all over again...

Right now..America is in decline of alotta things...the war economy hasn't been making it better. The dollar itself is loosing on worth daily...

The bush administration....the republican way of dealing with this country has been showing nothing but making the rich richer and the poor poorer. The health system is terrible....from what I have heard from my friends who do live over seas, if ya dont have alotta money do begin with ur bummed both ways.

Now how many years was bush in the white house and how many years has the health system been this way without change? Change that is what this country needs not a senile patriotic ol hag with a lady on his side who is supposed to swoop the votes which were lost with hilary loosing the candidate race...thats all there is to palin...She was only pulled out to be vice because hilary HAD A LOT OF FOLLOWERS.....and these people (women mainly) were really saying that they rather would vote for Cain if he had more appealing policies towards em....Palin was the answer....heh...

Anyway I just think with a rising risk of inflation....America needs to build up its own economy first before it can try and do gd in other countries. Lead by going forward by example...showing how to successfully run a country. And yes Obama lacks the experience that McCain has....but does experience automatically equals good leadership or decision making?

I think Obama hits the nerve when he says the All American dream has vanished...when a 9-5 job wasnt enough any more to feed a family of 4. Instead of investing money into guns and bla what not....invest it in things that matter in ya country...school...housing etc...ok im done i think and im sure you guys know who i am rooting for :P

Palins twichting...XD...deregulate...she didnt even answer that question....o my...how the heck could sumone like that get to be governor...o btw..i think i have a crush on Biden...XD
@HYPA: Lololol at that video...that was hilarious.....

The replies I've seen here and in many other places just further show (at least to me) that people really don't understand how politics work or what power a president really has. Neithor Obama nor McCain have done any good on the Bailout bill. Obama fumbled so bad that his people were scrambling to make sure the records of the meeting never got out. McCain did similar, but that fumble managed to get headlines. Also, if experience doesn't matter in the selection of a president and/or VP, then no one should be able to say anything about Palin's seeing how she has more experience than Obama.

It's kinda pointless to argue with Obama-ists though, because no matter how much you point out that Obama has been playing very dirty in his campaign, got his career started by pandering to the rich, and is associated with known terrorists, they just keep saying "He'll bring change!" I think that if he does bring change, it will be causing the destruction of the government that has been doing much better than many despite its corruption. After that who knows what kind of thing could happen. For all we know, it could become a dictatorship or something of the like. I'm not racist in the least, so you can't place my decisions on that fallback. Technically, Obama isn't even really black. I know people will tear this post apart because I haven't addressed everything, but I don't really care anymore. It's just gotten sad now. Both candidates are horrible choices just like every year. Be it race or gender, it doesn't matter. I look at what they've done and what they say they'll do, neithor of which they have to really uphold when they come into office.

I absolutely agree with you Deev. We have enough of our own problems to deal with, and it's clear that we're never going to achieve 100% victory in our plans for Iraq, so why not just settle with being happy with how things have progressed(which things are a lot better in Iraq) and focus on domestic affairs.

People talk crap about Palin, because she so far has proven she has no idea what she's getting herself into. She's the real lame duck in this Election. Like Deev said, her only purpose is to pick up the leftover Hillary votes for McCain.

I think you might have gone a bit too far on Obama there. Destruction of our Gov't? Terrorist? Dictatorship? Sounds like you really don't like Obama, lol.

Obama will make for a fine President, and if he cashes in on his promise for the 'change' everyone wants, America will be all the better because of it.

Besides, who really wants another grumbling old man who will continue to ignore the problems of our own country in favor of those of others?

Now im sure both candidates have their human side and im SURE that both are not absolute innocent angels in their own ways when it comes to have a clean sheet both ethically or politically.

Now obama being in connection to terrorism? Are u serious?? lol.... Why because of his middle name? Are people going to discriminate people because of their names now aswell? He wont destruct the government more I believe he will bring the fresh up new approach that the US needs...and not the same policies...from the past 8 years...

No not his name, I'd actually forgotten about that. I'm talking about being associated with groups that have attempted to blow up the capital building and the like.

And aside from that to add something to Kakashi's post, Do we really want someone who can't do anything but stutter when he doesn't have someone telling him what to say?

Well I don't agree with what u have to say but thats your own opinion so more power to you on that. All I have to say is that what u said has nothing to do with the VP debate and leave at that.

Quote:

Excuse what is wrong with people who stutter I stutter doesn't make me any less competent. Also I rather have someone who stutter than someone like Palin who starts talking about random stuff when she doesn't have a teller-prompter in front of her. Hint the Palin interview with katie Couric

Spoiler: my opinion: a little spam but the good kind you should read

PS :
Oh you might ask why don't I fight back with real facts, and the answer is simple I don't like disrespecting other people. So I try and treat people how I want to be treated. I will say this, I think that the candidates that we have now are he best that we have had in a while. For example, I remember people along time ago in 2000 were saying that Al Gore was right for America and blah blah... and that Busch was the right choice lmao. Now we see how wrong that was I mean look at what Gore has accomplished compared Busch. (Just for the record I never like Busch)

Same policies for the past 8 years is correct, when you are throwing bombs at a country who has done 0 to you and you're okay with it. That's when you know something's terribly wrong.
