It doesn't really affect me..No skin off my back if rap and hip hop were ever to get cut from the music industry, as I dislike both. While I do believe everyone has the right to listen to what they want to, I think we can all agree that messages projected through rap and hip hop are less than savory.

I'm flattered you quoted me anyway most rap these day's is about stealing stuff, sex, rape, girls and so on so that's why I hate it. Old stuff wasn't that bad but the new stuff is rubbish. Not to mention a majority of rappers have gone to jail for doing drugs or other crimes.

i dont dislike rap/hip-hop as a genre... its just the words of a lot of it im not a fan of... but i love the beats and the way it sounds. i really havent heard of many of the artists you listed off hypa except for styles of beyond and even then i only know them from fort minor songs. but i liked them then lol! i really like rap in different languages... if i cant understand what they are saying it makes it easier to look past words that i may not like and just listen to the music. rap groups like manau are freaking awesome!!!

I actually like kanye west's Stronger. It's kinda funny when he says "I can't get much wronger." But the video is awesome and the song sounds cool.
