Waters have a very adaptable personality, usually taking shape to conform to their environment. In an argument, a Water is capable to seeing both sides. Liberal thinking is a very special ability of Waters. An open mind makes a Water receptive of other elements. Of all elements, Water has the highest level of tolerance. A boisterous Fire or Lightning will prove to have little effect on a Water.

LIGHTNING

Unpredictable best describes Lightnings. Lightnings usually act with little to no planning or strategy, usually winging it through even delicate situations. Because of this, Lightnings are usually capable of quick reaction and creative problem solving. Improvising is a forte of a Lightning. Lightnings will usually listen to odd impulses and mood swings: the craving for a specific food from a distant restaurant will send a Lightning on a trip to fulfill the desire. Just like Fires, Lightnings are unafraid of opinions about them, and will voice their beliefs without hesitation.

FIRE

Fires embody passion and feeling. Anger, greed, lust, love, jealousy...a Fire experiences stronger emotions than the other elements. Fires openly voice their opinions, and often get into, pardon the pun, heated debates and arguments. Once angered or otherwise provoked, Fires can be hard to quell. While the opinions and beliefs of others mean little to nothing to Fires, emotions are very important, and adversely affect their actions and reactions. Fires can be unpredictable, but usually run straighter lines than their relative element, Lightnings.

Just like Lightnings, Fires will have a more difficult job at relationships than the other elements. Lightnings and other Fires will prove to be one of either extremes: Fires will either hate them or love them. The key is to find a Lightning or Fire that shares the same opinions. While Waters and Ices seem like good relations at first, they can have a smothering effect in the long run. Earths and Metals will prove to be difficult company to keep. Fires have to be especially careful around Plants: a misplaced or misunderstood comment or action could prove to be extremely detrimental to the bond. Airs will usually be the safe bet, but in the long run could prove boring to a Fire.

Carefree and easy-going, Air elements come and go as they please. A free spirit perfectly describes Airs, who usually go with the flow...they take each turn through lifes journey in stride. Their love of art shows an appreciation of creative expression. Airs usually show little stress or tension, due to a happy-go-lucky attitude. This, however, masks a dangerous force. While very hard to anger, when Airs are provoked, they can be extremely temperamental and malevolent. Unlike Fires, however, Airs tend to calm down quickly. Airs handle change and anxiety best out of all elements.

Airs have a very receptive disposition. A like-minded Water or Lightning will appreciate an Air. Plants will appreciate a Air that can understand them. Two Airs will prove to have a strong bond. Ices and Metals will be the hardest to cultivate bonds with. Airs usually feel stifled around Ices, and Metals will want a more rational partner. Effort will be needed from both parties if either of these relationships are to work.

Metals are the scholars of the world. They love to learn, and apply their knowledge. Whenever they encounter a problem, Metals always think things out logically, leaving little way for emotions. While this may seem cold to others, they usually realize that Metals work things out for the greater good. However, despite their intellectual outlook, Metals also enjoy gadgets, gizmos and other technology that usually have no direct usefulness. They like to tinker with things, taking them apart, just to put it together again.

An Ice tends to be the best element for a Metal, who shares similar attitudes.
