I know how hard it is, I learned a little then gave up because i started to get mixed up with my other languages (French, Chinese and Italian), you can only learn so much.

Thats good, Japanese is a nice language, How did you find the writing? thats the hardest part of learning and reading is hard at first aswell but keep practicing and you will get it

I hope to learn japanese, eventually.
Thing is, i do better at speaking with people when learning a new language
rather than reading or watching shows and stuff.
I've been learning german like that.
I've tied to learn Spanish and Japanese through CD roms,
but I think I'm just going to take a class when i'm in college, instead.
I seem to learn better that way.

do you take a class to learn japanese? i use the rosetta stone, and it doesnt really teach you much lol. it doesnt translate anything into english, it just gives a bunch of japanese sentances. i got a japanese/english dictionary too, a real nice one that cost me 40 bucks. that doesnt help me much either lol
