This is for all of those people on TF that *think* they're smart. I'll release this daily as soon as I can, and give the answer along with the next entry (for example, the answer to #1 will come at the same time as #2).

Daily Brainteaser #1: March 23, 2008
There are two plastic jugs filled with water. How can you put all of this water into a barrel, without adding the jugs or any other dividers to the barrel, and still tell which water came from which jug?

KigaOmoi is correct. Freeze the contents of one or both jugs before putting it into the barrel.

add nanoprobes that attach to the molecules of the water of the first jug. Then add the water to the barrel, then the other. To tell which water came from the first jug, just use a EMF, or a Micro-Scope.
OR:
Raise the PH level of the water in the first Jug to -7 (military grade, isnt on a PH scale). Pour the water in the second jug. Then pour the water from the first jug (if its still there), then you can tell which came from which as soon as the water in the first, hits the second. Be very careful however, because it will burn everything it touches.
