Will the Internet come to a halt?

I thought laptops were PCs? And wait-- how does the speed of the Internet affect the speed of one's computer overall? Hmm, this writing sounds a bit naive to me.

-cough- Jeez, The world would be a much better place if /people/ gave credit to the ones who /actually/ found the news. -cough--cough- Don't you think so, Omega?

Anyhow, if such thing does happen then the internet would be unavaiable until it's updated.

No really... He is, and it seems he has a little knowledge...

In order for the net to die, the technicians and the hardware manufacturers need to die first.
Now this is almost = to 0 (zero), meaning the NET will LIVE xD...

Now, I can't see or possibly imagine how teh hell the internet can slow my PC down...
Well it can, if you search unprotected and download junk that fills up your PC.
But all of that can be fixed at a click of a button and your PC's speed will be restored...

BTW look at the internet as a constantly upgrading software (well it is that xD)
And the hardware is always trying to reach it's requirements, and so far it's succeeding in that.
Currently the hardware is even ahead of the internet's requirements...
Plus every PC that is connected to the internet is a server. Not everything you
see on the internet comes from some huge room like computers...
It often comes from home PC's or for example, the p2p network...
Everything found on it is stored at many Home PC's...

For example I have made a video or something and I have given it to some one,
via p2p software, then another dude requests it and we both give it to him..
Then another one requests it, so the 3 of us give it to him in different parts...

Another point is that teh internet is a place for many people make money..
Not just people, but entire Companies, governments and etc...

So seeing the internet die = to 0 for me xD
