well the only voice I liked better in the dubbed version was the voice of zabuza.. other than him I prefer the japanese voices

Well, I think it's no surprise that most prefer Japanese voice actors/actress. Original is always best in anything.

The problem with the American voice actors is that they have trouble trying to pronounce some names and other things, so we end up with people called Neyrooto and Saucegay.

They also try to dub it so they voices have some sync with the charactors lip movement so you end up with dialogue that makes no sense and crappy catchphrases like 'believe it'. Although thats no excuse for having all the characters sound the same IMO. Like its been said before, the guys behind Naruto abridged did a better job on all the voices, and theres only two of them.

In english they try to change things and think by doing that they are cooler byt they SUCK

For me, its not just the fact that the japanese voice actors sound better (imo) that i prefer the japanese, but also that i like to listen to the way the characters...talk? to each other...like how they address one another in the heirarchical fashion that the japanese have. Also in what choices characters make in how to say certain words (as in many cases there is a choice) and all this is just lost when dubbed into English.

well, i think almost anything from japan sounds better in japanese, however, bleach does some pretty good american dubbing. i dont mind them too much, although some of the characters american voices do really annoy me.

i was just thinking. a rainbow eye technique would be cool. i could totally see a rainbow eye technique being like a rainbow chakra user with the ability to predict the near future, meaning, its possible to get into a fight, but not get hit once because you'll be predicting all of their moves the entire time and counterattacking. that sounds fun!

I like both dubs, so I don't really care. I think they put amazing talent and effort into voice acting in America, way more than they used to, and Naruto is no exception. Sasuke sounds a little old for his age, but I can deal. Maybe he hit puberty early? ROFL.

The only thing that bothers me about the english dub is the actual editing of blood/swearing and stuff. I really hope Shippuuden will get bumped to Adult Swim, because there are some scenes that would just be completely ruined if they tried to make them "kid friendly." (Sai's penis jokes, for instance. XD)
