yeah i was expecting his voice to be deeper and a different voice actor but it doesn't even sound like she tried to change it at all

heh, I was surprised the first time I found out our beloved Naruto was played by a girl. Now if it were Sasuke played by one, no one would know the difference ha ha just kiddin! *is pummeled by Sasuke fangirls*

But I don't really like her as Naruto. He should be played by a guy in my opinion.

yeah i think so to but the japanese voice actor for naruto is awesome i think she has the perfect voice for him in my opinion what do you think?

yah, i really think they should get a deeper voice for naruto . . . ntm his current one does kinda get on my nerves

when they do the english dub for shippuden, they definitely need to find another voice actor besides her. i cant even imagine her voicing naruto now, not that i've really watched naruto in english...only a few episodes...but jeez. now i see why it sounds crappy, although, i cant bash on her too much. she's from hawaii, and has a hawaiian name, and i dig that part about her.

She does a pretty good job, but it just doesn't compare with the japanese voice actors. The english ones are bland and all sound the same. I think the japanese voice actors have more depth and emotion.

Also, the original script is in japanese which makes a big difference. japanese people know where to properly place syllable inflection and emphasis as opposed to a transcribed and translated script where sometimes, translations are wierd, and american people dont know how or where to place syllabe emphasis to save their lives. not to mention, these american voice actors just dont know how to pronounce japanese words. i bet, if maile flanagan and the rest of the american voice acting cast were to say "naruto", and "sakura" they way the names are supposed to be pronounced, the american versions really wouldnt be all that bad. i guess what im trying to say is, if the american voice actors pronounced japanese words correctly, the show would be much more tolerable.
