~Story~
Its been 4 years since Ikaku disappeared from the Village of Sound. He left in the night, leaving behind his new home and friends, as if he had discarded them in the darkness. In exchange for discarding them, he went on a search in this darkness, for those who were just like him.

During his absence, the Village of Sound had come to gain a respectable reputation. Surrounding countries, small and great recognised the Sound Village, and there were even a few alliances formed. It felt as if a new age was coming, where the conflicts of the past would be forgotten.

Yumika had even become the new Utakage since the previous one had retired despite her young age.

The Village of Sound was prospering, and a coronation ceremony was about to be held to officially acknowledge the new Utakage. It would have all been well if Ikaku had not decided to return...

~In Minako

Minako was sitting on the side of Yumika's desk shuffling through some documents and despratley trying to talk him into getting organised for the ceremony.

"Yumi~kun, the ceremony is in less than an hour. You're not going dressed like THAT are you? You look like you've been rolling around in dirt.." Minako questioned him raising an Eyebrow. "You have to look somewhat respectable..." She got up off the desk and walked over to the cupboard. She had bought him in spare clothes a little while ago since there were nights he'd have to spend the whole night in his office.

She took out some nice slacks and a casual shirt for him and threw them at him. "Here, get changed. This isn't too dressy for you. I have to go get some other things organised before your announced as the new Utakage." She sighed as she walked over to the door to leave. "Just get dressed....It's all I ask.." She said as she left.

Minako walked down the stairs then up some more, greeting fellow shinobi as she passed, and made her way too the platform where the ceremony was being held. There were some workers setting up the fireworks for later that evening. "Hey guys! How's everything going here?" Minako asked cheerfully. "All going to schedule Miss Minako" One of the workers replied. "Excellent, Ceremony starts in a little under an hour, just be done by then." She told them. "Don't worry things are almost done, we'll be sure to be finished before then." The other worker replied. She nodded and set off to see how the decorations we're coming along.

The town was full of life. Four years had passed since Ikaku left, but in that time Sound had become such a lively little village. Minako was proud to be a ninja here. But occasionally she found herself wondering what ever happened to her student and what caused him to snap like he did, but she didn't have time to think about that now. Everything seemed to be running according to plan and Minako couldn't be happier. She gazed up at the sky and sighed softly, it was such a perfect day. Then looked back towards Utakage's headquarters. "*sigh* I better go check on him, more than likely that lazy oaf is taking a nap instead of getting ready..." She moaned as she headed back to check in on Yumika.....

"Ugh... Really... You know that's not my kind of thing... But I guess I have to look decent..." Yumika replied as Minako got up off of his desk and walked over to get him some spare clothes...

"Yeah... What would I do without you... I'm still surprised that they chose me over you... Oh well as I said... The Utakage has to look good" Yumika teased as Minako walked out of the room... "Well I guess I had better get dressed" he thought out loud to himself as he moved some paperwork and graabed the slacks...

Halfway through putting on the pants Yumika slipped on some loose paperwork and as he fell he knocked the fresh cup of coffee onto his clean shirt... "Crap... Minako's going to kill me" he thought as he quickly moved the shirt... "Ugh... guess I'll have to find something else to wear..." He thought as he walked over to his wardrobe in just his pants...

"Tri Ratjagon, the coronation of the Utakage is to be held today, you as the leader of one of the Sound Village clans are to attend it as one of the compulsory guests...", Tri Ratjagon sat at his seat, it was clear he wasn't listening. He was busy with some music in his ears, clear by the large earphones in his ears.

"TRI RATJAGON!", yells the messenger, it seems he heard, startled the earphones fell back.

"Yes yes I know, I'm to attend to the new Utakage's ceremony, I don't think I need anyone to tell me old news...", he said. The messenger left, muttering "arrogant" under his breath. Tri Ratjagon was in some clothes that didn't befit a ninja at all, a straight up sleeveless jacket, yet not shirt, the collars were fully zipped up and high, nearly covering his mouth, and he wore some nylon pants with lopsided belts and thigh belts. His shoes were like any other ninja's though.

"I become leader after only a month, ah well...", said Tri, getting up from his seat. The room was littered with previous leader's possessions, from weapons to trivial things, scrolls, and some containing secret techniques. The reason they were out in the open like this is since they require a special unsealing technique to open and read.

"Hey Sakuya...", he said. From behind some blinds walked a girl, holding a katana in it's sheath. Long pink hair and eyes that seemed to jump at you, she had a hard time being formal. Though Tri personally appointed her as his guard, she had a different branch to the clan's techniques. Rather than fists, her ability was her blade.

"Yes sir?",

"no need to be formal, but anyhow...", Tri said, placing his headphones back on.

"It's been a month since I was able to get free time hasn't it?", Sakuya smiled, and replied with a simple yes. The two walked out onto the streets of Sound, to observe it's reconstruction.

Slowly making her way back to headquarters, Minako couldn't help but take in the sights of the village. "Sure has come along way in four years" She said outloud to herself as she walked with a slight skip in her step.

She passed Tri Ratjogon with his guard Sakuya who both seemed to be out enjoying the sights as well. Minako smiled and waved to them both as she passed, and finally reached Utakages headquarters.

Ambling up the stairs she gave a quick knock before opening the door only to find a shirtless Yumika with a coffee stained shirt. She sighed again as she closed the door. "Ugh..you're hopeless Yumi~kun...I should've dressed you myself" she said rolling her eyes at him. She walked over to the cupboard and picked out another shirt then threw it at him. "Don't get this one dirty" She warned.

Making her way back over to his desk she gave it a quick tidy and put some documents away then sat on the side of it once again. Her feet dangling off the edge. "So, all the preparations are going well, we're totally on schedule." She informed him. "The fireworks should be the highlight, I can't wait to see them" Her eyes lit up as she spoke. Minako had always liked fireworks. Looking at the clock she seen there was only half an hour til the ceremony began.

"Well.." She started getting of the desk, "I better quickly go home and get changed as well. Can't have you hogging all the lime light now can I?" She teased poking out her tongue. "I'll meet you back here in 20 kay?" As she left and headed back to her apartment to change for the ceremony.

Ikaku flipped the hair out of his eyes as he walked down a beaten track. A track he was familiar with. It lead to his old home. he passed the training ground and saw a tree that still held the scars of his past training. "come, Sayuri...lets say hello to the new Utakage" He said to the girl trailing behind him "and i swear to god...if you continue to take in the sights...ill add to the other scars of your training" He speed up with Sayuri coming after him.

Ikaku saw that the celebration was in full swing. Leaping from roof to roof he took in the slightly changed layout of his old village. He found Minako's old house and saw her walking into it. "Hold here" He waited and saw Minako leave. he then began to follow her from the roof tops.

They soon arrived at the place where the celebration was being held. He saw that the whole village had arrived. They waited in the shadows for the celebrations to begin.

Sayuri lingered a few paces behind Ikaku, mouth slightly agape as she looked down over the festive, glowing scene on the streets below them. Red and green lanterns swung from overhangs and vendors lined the roads. People walked in groups, laughing and wearing plastic masks. They all were moving in one direction, and the further they went the more people converged.
"Come Sayuri... let's say hello to the new Utakage." She heard from a few feet in front of her. Idle talk from Ikaku. Not nearly as interesting as their surroundings. Festivals reminded her of travelling - there always seemed to be amazing festivals all around, and they gave people the chance to relax and have fun. That was something that was becoming rarer and rarer.
"And I swear to God... if you continue to take in the sights, I'll add to the other scars of your training."
Sayuri sighed audibly, and without taking her eyes off the scenery she quickened her pace. Observance was a leisure and a precaution, but trying to convince Ikaku of that was hopeless, and not her business anyway.
Joining the man on his journey wasn't something she had intended to do, and she didn't think it would be permanent either. But something about the circumstance had made her want to follow him, and she didn't think it was just his power (or her lack of power, for that matter) at all.
Eventually they came to a stop above the biggest group yet, just about an entire village. In the shadows created by a conveniently fancy roof, Sayuri sat beside Ikaku, keeping her eyes vigilently on the streets.
Sayuri knew Ikaku was strong, but the dramatic entrance might have been a bit much and she hadn't failed to notify him of this thought before. Of course, she was usually only caught by a narrow-eyed glare. She hadn't seen the extent of his power, so she couldn't say for sure that he was being overconfident about this, but she did feel unease about the whole thing.
All she could do was watch and wait, for now.

Ikaku saw his old sensei weaving through the crowd. He waited for a while and saw Yumika. He noticed the scars from there last 'encounter' were still on him. "ahh the new Utakage..." he muttered.

The celebration picked up and Yumika was making his speech to the crowd. Ikaku saw the fireworks. hmmm... He lept down into the crushing throng of people and made his way to the fireworks. he found the largest one and positioned it to fire directly above the stage. he lept onto it and set the wick alight. 5...4...3...2...1 A tremendous roar was heard. the firework was sent into the sky. Just before it exploded he let of it onto the monument above the stage. With his black cloak trailing behind him he walked forward. "hello....Yumika" he mutered

Chou walked quietly down A street of Konoha.
She stopped and looked around in confusion then looked at her old, dirty map.
'Where on Earth is Otogakure..?' she thought. She kept walking looking for someone to give her directions. It was nearly dark and she had to get there soon. A man with brown hair strode down the street with his hands in his pockets.
"Umm...Excuse me?" she put her hand up so he would noticed her. He looked up from staring at his feet.
"Yea" He replied.
"Could you direct me to Otogakure please?" She asked.

He told her the directions and as soon as he was finished she thanked him and ran.

She stopped to catch her breath after running for what seemed ages!
When she looked up it was now nightfall and everyone had began the ceremony. She got closer and sat behind a tree peeking her head out to see the it.
She heard a firwork shoot into the air but before it hit the sky into a blooming flower, she saw something unusual. Two shadowed figures came out.
"Hello....Yumika"
'Is it...Ikaku, I have always wanted to meet him! So evil and slugish. Just my type.' she laughed to herself.
She walked into the croud and tried to blend in.
The firework by then ad hit the sky and more ascended.

Ikaku's eyes seemed reminiscent as he looked down at Yumika. "Ahh... the new Utakage..."
He leapt from his hiding place, making his way bound by bound to the fireworks. "Oh," Sayuri said, understanding what the gleam in Ikaku's eye was all about. "This is even more dramatic than I had anticipated. But, I suppose, whatever gets their attention works." She followed him down and waited a few buildings away, concealed by shadows, watching as he raised a match to the fuses and leapt out of the way. Sayuri took the opportunity to admire the moment when sparks rocketed into the air and unfurled with a loud cracking sound. If it were only not for their malicious purpose, they would have been beautiful.
She watched from her spot as Ikaku stood face-to-face with the Utakage, ready to follow up on his initiation.

"I better quickly go home and get changed as well. Can't have you hogging all the lime light now can I?" She teased poking out her tongue. "I'll meet you back here in 20 kay?"

"Ok then... I'll see you here..." Yumika said as he watched Minako walk out... He quickly got dressed and waited for minako to return...

Once Minako got back Yumika quickly took a moment to admire how good she looked then "Well I guess it's time we head off" He said as he started off in the direction of the ceremony...

The ceremony was running along smoothly... the previous Utakage made her speech and then he was introduced...

Yumika walked out as fireworks went off and people gazed at him up on the stage... He began his acceptance speech and it was going well... That is until a firework went off its course with someone riding and went offf close to the stage... Yumika placed his hand around the hilt of his katana which was sitting at his side as he watched the figure glide down from above....

"hello....Yumika"

"I knew you would come back some day," Yumika growled as he drew his sword and averted his eyes from Ikaku's face "What do you want?" He said with malice in his voice and anger boiling through his veins...
