[Strawberry]

Story:

Readlyn Range High School. A simple little high school with no more than 200 students attending. Cliques and groups of students fill the hallways between the 10 minute breaks and lunch hour. Everything is relatively peaceful, until one of the students mysteriously die.

Commotion erupts. Terror-struck faces of students scatter the hallways, as they come across their schoolmate. Alicia Brooks. A straight A student. Her throat slit, and her eyes carved out of her skull. An “A” engraved into her forehead. Students scream, teachers attempt to call the police, only to find the lines cut. Students try to flee, but the doors, electronically locked, refuse to budge.

The murderer, still within the walls of the small two story school. Students slowly being picked off, without any notice. Nobody knows who could commit such a deed.

Can a small group of students, from different cliques work together to find the murderer, before they all get murdered themselves? Or will the schools attendance list be cut in half?

The stale air in the classroom was really getting to her. As was the sound of the god damned clock. It was really pissing her off. She has been in the classroom for a good 45 minutes it’s way too long. And the odour, holy shit. Doesn’t anyone shower in there? Kiki sighs heavily, really irritated. The gawky preppy girls have been squealing for the past hour, and she was about to snap.

Why couldn’t everyone just die? Like, Jesus fuck. She sighs and taps her pencil on her book, looking at the clock. Staring, at the clock. The low hum of the furnace kicking in. She raises an eyebrow, and then she mutters to some random people beside her.

“It’s the middle of fucking summer, why the hell is the furnace on? We’re going to be roasted to death in this hell hole!” She snickers and then looks at the teacher who is glaring at her. She rolls her eyes and sinks back into her seat. “Only 5 more minutes!”

Then when she thought she would be free, the buzz of the intercom kicks in.

Would all the teachers come to the staff room right away. Something major has come up. All the students MUST remain in their seats until further instruction. Nobody leaves, nobody enters. That is all. Shortly after a loud, very loud scream is heard in the hallways. Everyone jumps and looks at the door, as the teacher runs out. Kiki blinks.

Kiki, being a snoopy person, gets up, and sneaks out of the classroom. The eager students peek outside to see what the commotion was. She advances into the hallways, hearing frantic speaking from the teachers, and muttering from the students. She blinks.

I wonder what happened. Did someone let a god damn tiger loose in the school? Kiki giggles and then steps into the main hallway. She freezes dead in her tracks. Her eyes widen drastically as she claspes her hand over her mouth muffling a scream. A girls body was laying in a large pool of blood. Her throat was slit in many places, and her arms and legs were slashed. Her eyes were gouged out and on her forehead was the letter "A" engraved into her flesh.

Kiki was shocked, all the blood draining from her face. She closes her eyes and bites her finger. She gulps back vomit and then steps back.

“Oh..Oh my god,” Kiki says as she stumbles backwards. One of the teachers catches her and turns her away.

“Get back to class right away, don’t say anything.” He says pushing her away. She stumbles and falls onto her knees. She can taste the vomit In the back of her throat.

“She..She…She’s dead..There..There is so much blood…The smell…Oh my god…”She cringes and stands up shakily, as she runs back to the classroom. Once she enters, she closes her eyes and then slams the door, leaning against it, her hand over her mouth. “Alicia Brooks is dead...There is a lot of blood...”

God..B-be careful what you wish for...

Vince was in art class, it was almost time for lunch break. He was sitting way at the back of the class in a little corner, near the window. He was leaning backwards on the chair as he stared out of the window with a dull look. The teachers didn't bother him, because even though he was a slacker most of the time, he still got the grades which were needed.

Fuck this... Vince thought. His sight went from outside to the teacher, who was explaining something, but Vince didn't bother listening. He looked upwards to the clock and noticed it was just a few minutes before the bell rang.
The speakers began cracking and Vince's sight immediately went towards it.

Would all the teachers come to the staff room right away. Something major has come up. All the students MUST remain in their seats until further instruction. Nobody leaves, nobody enters. That is all.

"OK children, I'll be right back, just stay in your seats for now..." The teacher said as she went out of the room. Just then, there was a loud scream, almost everybody stood up and rushed outside to see what was happening.
Vince kept sitting until the rush went down. He stood up and slowly walked out with his hands in his pocket. There was a huge mass of people over in the distance, everybody was pushing and a few kids came out running and crying from it, screaming.
Vince watched them passed by, with the same dull expression as always. He walked over towards the group and some kids moved aside, knowing who Vince was, thanks to them, he could see what had happened. Alice Brooks was dead on the floor, her eyes carved out and a "A" engraved into her forehead.
Still not even flinching, Vince stared at the dead body as blood came from all sides.
"Keh..." He muttered as he turned around and walked away.
A murderer in the school, huh... damn him, killing off people before I got the chance... I'll fucking kill him... first need to get something and check some stuff out... He thought.

He walked passed his classroom and went to his locker, where his bag was. He unlocked the locker and grabbed some black gloves that had little metal edges at the knuckles. Guess Dad's gift did come in handy after all... old bastard... Vince thought.
He placed them on and placed his bag back in and then locking the locker. He then proceeded to the exit. It was a big green door with glass windows, but those windows were covered with steel bars, same goes for most of the windows, it was a precaution the school had thought of. Vince grabbed the door's handle and pushed as hard as he could, but the door wouldn't budge.
"As expected..." Vince thought out loud.
"So... he's in here, among us, and we need to find him and kill of him... then I will need one last thing..." He said as he lowered his eye lids, walking away.

Children were running around, screaming in panic, even some teachers were. Some of them just thought it was hopeless and crawled into a little corner and started crying.
Vince didn't even bother looking at them, he just kept walking straight to where he was going. After a while, he finally arrived, it was woodshop. It was a wooden door with a glass for a window and a steel plated lock. Vince tried to open the door, but it didn't budge either.
"Don't fuck with me..." Vince said as he leaned backwards, gathering strength, he punched the glass and broke it. The loud sound echoed throughout the walls. Some students stared, but he didn't let it bother him. Because of his gloves, there were no glasses that damaged his fist. He pulled some of the remaining glasses away and opened the clock from the inside. The door opened, the room was dark because the windows were shut and the class wasn't used all day. He turned the lights on and looked around. He went to a big box, where all the materials were in. He crouched down and opened it and got out three scissors.
He then stood back up and broke every scissor in two, making a knife-like-shaped weapon. He placed three in each pocket. He walked out, turning the lights off. Now to wait... He thought.

OOC: The most important detail to a murder scene, is the location... Looks like I'll have to make one myself.

Today was a nice day, sunny and such and such... History class is also great, well that is if he decided to attend it today. He only attends when there's a test or an assignment to be handed out, but seeing as this is a normal lesson as always-

This was something a little startling, especially since he's not in a seat or class. He definitely wondered what this was, there was no announcement that sounded so severe or distressed in the time he was enrolled here. The teachers should definitely be running around, there shouldn't be any in the class rooms either, if the problem was inside the building, then he should have no worry getting out of the roof before they think of checking it.

Making his way down the stairs, he reached the main hallway, but with all the teachers and students he only got a glimpse of what had happened. Quickly hiding behind a wall before he was spotted. From what he saw, there was a pool of blood, and a female student, peering from the corner again... The environment had no signs of struggle, there was no path of blood either. That only told him two things.

The body was placed there after the kill, then mutilated in the hallway. That way, there should be no trail of blood, and nor should there be any signs of struggle. Though taking a closer look at the position. It was smack dab in the middle, meaning the murder should have had to walk past all those classrooms. Puzzling, how can he get past all those classrooms?

Disguises usually work, but a janitor usually never carries around something large enough to hide a student. Puzzling indeed... But the fact that the teachers couldn't get the main doors open, obviously meant that the murderer intended for more kills to add.

"Hehe... This is getting quite interesting...", thought Renchard.

Lockie sat in chemistyr deeply ingrossed in what his teacher was saying and hanging off of every word... He didn't care what the others thought... He knew they all called him a nerd... He was still polite and he liked to help... but none of that mattered he was usaully just used by them...
But none of that mattered to him... he didn't care what they thought or what their opinions of him were... he loved chemistry...
Oh god... I gotta piss Lockie thought urgently to himself as he raised his hand and was excused from class...
He made his way to the toilets in the main hallway... they may have not been the closest but they were the cleanest...
After he had finished and was washing his hands...
Geez maybe I shouldnt of had that pizza i found in the fridge for lunch... his thoughts were interupted when he heard a disturbing announcement:

Of all the times to be in the toilets... what should I do... Should I go back to class or should I wait here... Ill go back... he thought as he made his way out of the toilet only to hear a shrill scream from just outside the door...
Hearing this Lockie quickly went outside to check what had happened only to find a girls body lying in the middle of the hall "WHAT THE FUCK!!!" Lockie yelled as he realised who it was and saw the mutilations someone had done to the body...
He then saw some year ten girls come running down the hall and he quickly turned around and Yelled "GET BACK TO CLASS!" trying to block the body from view but they could obviously see the pool of blood on the ground as they quickly turned around and ran...
Soon after he was surrounded by teachers and told "return to class but don't tell anyone about this..." by his chemistry teacher... Lockie could ear his voice shaking as he said this...
Lockie slowly made his way round the corner but then he stopped lsat down and thought about what had happened...
Why Alicia... Why noe... Why this school.. No the most important question is who?

Shima was new to readlyn range high school. She was a shy girl seeking friendship, for she was a loner there. She used to be talketive, and have a bubbly personality til the day they died but, no matter... The day dreaming girl only would have wished for all of this to be a dream. Shima was looking at the window. The beautiful outside was attracted to her, luring her, she wanted out. The teacher's voice only a wisper in her ear. Suddenly she felt a tap on the head.
"Wake up Shima!" The teacher exclaimed angerly, "How many time have I caught you not listening in class?"
"A few... A few times." Shima answered shyly
"A few?" The teacher's female voice getting louder "A few times? THAT-!" The teacher stoped herself seeing poor Shima gripping her chair in fear."I'm sorry dear, just listen like the rest of the class does."

It was art class. Shima's favourite class, yet she was utterly bored out of her tree. The class was studying poetry. She loved writing poetry but, not so much listening to it. Shima didn't mind it usually but today, she couldn't seem to pay attention.

"Gosh.."She thought, "I'm thinking to much about yesterday..."

Flash back:

It was history. Shima was tired from pulling an all nighter the night before.

"Must have not gotten enough sleep yesterday.." Said a little voice from behind.
She turned around to find Alicia Brooks, a straight "A" student, talking to her.

"Ya.. I pulled an all night trying to study for an exam." Shima said shyly
"Do you think you did well?" Alicia asked
"Well, the teacher got sick so, we didn't do the test... Guess I gotta study again." Shima said exhaustedly
"I can help you study," Alicia offered
"Really?" Shima said surprised. Maybe Alicia would be her first friend
"For sure!" Alicia replied with a smile

End of flash back

Shima kept thinking of yesterday, how she had made her first friend. She couldn't wait for lunch. Maybe Alicia and her could eat together.
"Five more minute to lunch!" She thought waiting patienly and egerly
Just when the five minutes where up, the intercom came on bomming a message from the principle. It was:
Would all the teachers come to the staff room right away. Something major has come up. All the students MUST remain in their seats until further instruction. Nobody leaves, nobody enters. That is all.

"Wonder what going on..." Shima thought
The teacher said a few words to the stdent and then left. As soon as she had gone, a bunch of students crowded the door way. After a few secondes there were cries, sreams,shreaks and yelps. Once everyone had left, Shima picked up her book and put them in her bag, tossed the bag out on to her shoulder and set out of the class room. She follow all the noise, till she found student formed in a circle looking down at the floor.
"What are they all looking at?" She thought
As she advanced towards the group she saw people barfing, student scared to deat, some in a corner looking as if they were about to die. Shima saw a red substance all around the feet of the student that were forming a circle. She pushed through the crowd... Looks down at the floor and let out the most blood cerling scream anyone as ever known.

It was Alicia... Her frail pale face was no longer reconizible... her body lay, carrasing the bloody floor. Her arms and legs were slashed. Blood overed her whole body still spilling on to the floor. Her throat was slit multipul times and her eye balls were carved out. There was also a big "A" carved into her forhead.

"A-alicia....?" Shima managed to mumble
Shima had only met the girl yesterday but... For some reason there was this huge pain in her chest. Shima walked away from the girl body and begane to cry. After several minutes she came back to reality with a resolve...
"Alicia was murdered..." She thought as she looked around as some student tried to force the electronic door open, "The door totally shut, the windows... Maybe." Shima quickly walked back to her class only to find the door looked forcefully shut. She tried a bunch of other doors, but themm as well were locked.
"Doors locked, window are out of the question..." She contunued to think, "There is a murderer roaming loose in this school that could attack anybody... I need to be careful."
She ran down some stair anf found her locker.
"I need to arm myself..." She mumbled She rumaged through her locher to find a metal fork for her lunch, a swiss army knife given to her by her deceased parent when they went to switzerland and some food that she quietly ate.
"These thing may be useful..." She said to herself.
Shima put the fork in one pocket and the knife in the other.
"I better be careful..."She reminded herself, "I don't want to end up like Alicia." Shima winced at her friend's name but remounted the stair back to the scene to see if maybe, just maybe she could find the murderer and give him a taste of his own medicine... But how? She didn't know yet. But she was going to find out!

Since she came to this school Xiomara had been really popular and thus been loved by some, hated by others. Like she cared, every person who wished her bad could die and everything will go as normally as life as a teenager could be. She wasnt paying attention today, it was really boring, stuff she already knew. hhmmmm maybe I'll text Mike to cancel our date tonight, Im not in the mood today.

Hell was going to break loose soon, she just knew it, something about the air around her. She didnt care, heck she was looking foward to it. Tch, maybe something will shake this boring school and things will get interesting.

Her Teacher was explaining something but she tunned her out...jeeez I dont want to be here today, I want to be outside. She looked outside the window that was at the other side of the classroom. It's a really pretty day today, it'll be a shame if it gets ruined Suddenly...

Ehhh? I knew it!! Everyone started to panic, her teacher was having a panic attack she wouldnt notice a pink elephant even if it walked in front of her eyes at the moment let alone a missing student. Carefully as not to be seen she slipped out of her classroom and started lurking around. Suddenly she forgot that she had left her cellphone at her locker and went to look for it. When she was about to get to her destination she watched as Vince grabbed the door's handle and pushed hard.

Its locked? hmmmm interesting She grabbed her cell and made her way towards the the bathroom, in her way over there she had to pass through the main hallway and there she saw what that weird announcement was about.

"Miss Matos, you should be in your classroom. Please come with me, Im going to make everyone go to the Drama classroom." Great, the director, just when I found out what was all this crap about...Alicia She left with Miss Summers but before she turned around she winked at Renchard, whom she spotted and looked like he didnt wanted to be seen there

After Kiki finally calmed down, she gulped and grabbed some random kids waterbottle. She took a long drink. Everyone in the classroom was chattering, huddled in little groups, or crying. Or, all of the above.
She just felt like she was punched in the gut. She felt like throwing up. She gulps again, and advances towards, the door, opening it again. She walks down the hall, then looks to the side.

God, Im just going to go home... She blinks and walks to the door. She pushes it then blinks. She pushes it again.

"W-Why is it locked?" Her eyes grow wide as she fidgets faintly. "Obviously, this is a murder. Obviously. Its not like she could gouge her own eyes out without leaving a trace, or anything...Right?" She shivers and hugs herself, as she looks over to a familiar group of drug addicts. Her best friends..

"I heard she was just gunna go fer a drink!" A guy says, wearing a large baggy sweater. Charles. Kiki walks over to him and smiles slightly.

"So, Im not the only one completly shocked about this all?" She chuckles nervously. Charles laughs and shoves her playfully.

"Key, did you honestly expect a murder here?" He laughs. She smiles and shrugs. "So, do you wanna get high?"

"Uhh...Someone just got killed...I'll pass. But, if you have a smoke...Not laced with anything," she shoots him a glare, he chuckles and pulls out a pack. She sighs and smiles at the other people. He hands her two ciggarettes, and she smiles gratefully. "See you guys around.."

"Be careful Key. Don't want your pretty little face fucked up, now do we?" The group laughs. She smiles, flipping them off, before walking down the hallways.

She notices all the teachers are out and about. Some are frantically trying to use their cell phones. She raises her eyebrow and pulls out hers. It refused to turn on.

"What the fuck, it was fully charged this morning," she mumbles and then looks around.

The students were the same way. They obviously don't abide to the "stay in the classroom" rules.

Wait, if she was murdered...Could the murderer still be here? It would explain the doors and everything..Sorta... She bites her lip.
"Now, Im scared.."

After spending a few minutes sitting in the gap between the lockers and the wall lockie got up and thought he'd go search for someone he knew so he could calm down...
The problem with this was that he had no friends... The only people he knew were the ones that bullied him or just plain ignored his entire exsistence...
"why couldn't I have just blended in... Just done what everyone else had then maybe I could have someone to talk to noe..." he thought as he absentmindedly walked around the corridors while everyone ran around him attempting to get out of the school.. But it seemed all the doors had been locked... Despite all of this Lockie felt strangely calm...

He continued to walk around not really thinking about what had happened infact he had begun to think about eating... he was hungry... of all the times he chose now to be hungry...
He pulled out an apple from the small bag he always had with him and began to eat it...
It then struck him.. "If all the doors are locked that must mean that... the killers still in the school! Someone else might die!" As he thought this he absentmindedly went around a corner and walked right into a girl and they both fell over... When he got up he first noticed that the girl was holding a cigarette and he instinctivly grabbed the cigarette an threw it away "you'll ruin your lungs if you keep doing that!" he said but then realised what he had done "Oh i'm s-sorry I didn't mean to it just... well.. i'm sorry"...

"Heh... Guess I can't expect communications either", stated Renchard, throwing his mobile to the ground, letting it break. Though this can only be collaborative work, from inside or outside. There is a possibility that one of the students is the culprit, him being out of class for the entire time makes him a suspect, in the event that they find him. Well, as long as no one knows that he's around, the murderer shouldn't know that he's around. However there is a strong chance that the security cameras were hacked by the murderer, and being monitered, thus why the electronic locks across the school are shut tight.

This means two things, either collaborative work, with one doing the killings, and another doing the hacking and monitering. There is a possibility that it was only one person, who managed to get the electronic locks in place. Though remembering that there was an electronic lock on the roof door, it was open, so it should have locked when he went on his way down. He did remember that the system didn't close doors automatically, so the murderer shouldn't know that someone isn't in his sights. The reason he should know where everyone is, is due to the announcement,

"all students were ordered to stay put", this was the announcement that any logical principle or teacher would do. In order to keep students away from harm. This however did the adverse effect, the murderer knows where everyone is, most likely he or she has a list of students, and what class they have at this time.

This means that anyone who isn't in class isn't as safe. Since students go for a drink or the toiler, it narrows down where students can be in the school. Right now he is sitting behind a table in the cafeteria, during class he'd always sit here drinking a can, since it was always outside of the range of the classroom windows. Of course, he's realised that this doesn't make him safe from the murderer, however the murderer would have to come within view of the classrooms to get to him, so he has to get spotted before getting in to kill him.

"Huh... Until more people get killed or unless I can get to see the crime scene... I don't have much to go on...", he says, noting that the crime scene was crowded at the moment.

Kiki falls back, and then growls, clearly not fond of the fact she was bowled over. When the guy reaches over and grabs one of her smokes she blinks and her mouth drops. She glares and stands up.

"You'll ruin your lungs if you keep doing that!"

She glares and walks over to the cigarette, picking it up. She looks at the boy, who starts to stand. She glares and then puts the smoke away.

"Its my lungs. I don't really care," she says folding her arms. Then she blinks.

"Oh i'm s-sorry I didn't mean to it just... well.. i'm sorry" She rolls her eyes.

"Its alright. I'm just guessing everyone is riled up about the murder...I know I am," She shudders. Then she looks the boy over. "You're in my health class, aren't you.." She shrugs and walks past him. "Well, nice running into you. Litterally. Don't get killed now." She smiles over her shoulder jokingly, as she walks to the stairs. "Cherio!"

I would of cried if my smoke was wrecked...Flat out bawled.. She looks around and climbs the stairs. As soon as she reaches the top, she opens the door and stares at the vending machines.

"Im so hungry...God, how can I think of food when somebody just got killed? I should lock myself in a locker and try to hide from everyone," she pouts and makes her way to the vending machines.

Just as the power to the school shuts down completly. Screams ring through the school, as she covers her ears, closing her eyes. The power comes back on shortly, as the fire alams go off.

"What the fuck!?" She yells over the loud buzzing. Soon, those shut off too. She looks around, obviously confused as all living hell.
