START- Day 1: The Game

"So you're the one who volunteered for Game Master... You seem to show promise", a sly and sharp voice sounded within the room, littered with books and clocks, on top of a fancy sofa, an expensive coffee table, even behind the wine bar. Taking further notice, there were even some older books and even older clocks under the sofa.

"Thanks mate, couldn't have said it better myself", this voice was different, with a strong accent from a southern area, it also showed some sense of power and confidence behind it.

"Don't get too full of yourself, you know the aim right? We need to "gather" them, not eliminate them all. Relentless killing is unecessary, what is necessary is to put these souls, through a test for survival, conviction of the soul",

"I know mate, I know, but now I gotta run, the Players are waiting".

- Shibuya, Scramble Crossing - (note, not all players will start here, anywhere but the 104 is alright)

"Ungh... Huh?", a boy woke in the scramble, people walked past him paying him no mind. It was then he identified that he was in the Scramble, and that he remembered, that he'd died, and now he was playing a game to measure his worth as a human. It sickened him apparently, but this didn't matter, the Game was the Game. Pulling out a black skull pin, he held it in his hand for a bit, then clenched it, and suddenly, the voices of hundreds upon thousands poured into his head. He panicked and looked around, they were definitely the voices of the people. So this pin allowed him to read people's minds? That's great, but according to what he'd heard, he needs to find a partner and fast. Quickly, he turned to sprint off into Hachiko, it was then, he was struck across the face. A frog's leg was the last thing he'd saw, and there it was in front of him, Noise. Without a partner, he could do nothing, but he was surrounded by Noise, as more symbols joined. It was then that his fate was sealed.

The boy's mobile rang as he dropped it, and on it, there was a message: "Gather: Find a partner, and get in line, cos we're doing a head count to see who's in, and who's out, you got half an hour."

(I'd like everyone to avoid this situation, sprint faster than fast towards a meeting place)

Note: No one can access the 104 without a partner

IMPORTANT! If you use pins, you'll find your pins in your pocket. Note that you have absolutely no idea what they are, or what they do, so show some testing out first. This also goes the same with Psyche Mediums, you pretty much have no idea what you'll be using, so it'll just naturally come to you.

Aeoto:
His white coat swiriling from the motion of the poeple spread throughout Dogenzaka, Aeoto thought of his brother. he was dead, and was about to prove his worth as a human. A mobile rang out from his pocket :"Gather: Find a partner, and get in line, cos we're doing a head count to see who's in, and who's out, you got half an hour.". ok...gotta find a partner, he placed his hands in his coat pocket and fingered three Pins he found in his pocket, A small fire flickered into life were he looked. fire...this is going to be fun Aeoto thought as he rubbed his hands together and ran to find the one person he could trust in this...world, is brother

Ikaku:
Ikaku woke to a swirl of movement and colour. he lifted the hood up over his jet black hair, and looked for something, someone to make sense of this chaos. His mobile rang, he looked at the message : "Gather: Find a partner, and get in line, cos we're doing a head count to see who's in, and who's out, you got half an hour.". oh god...not this Ikaku thought. a firm hand clasped his shoulder and he stared up into his older brothers shallow dark eyes. "get up, you got the message?" Aeoto asked in his gruff voice. "m..mhm" Ikaku whimpered "is this where i think we are?" Ikaku asked waving his hand around. "yes now get up, your my partner, lets go to the 104" Aeoto said pulling Ikaku along with him. he found a baton in his pocket what the.. Ikaku thought as the baton shimmered a deep purple.

In Kitana~

"Ugh...where am i? What's going on?" Kitana awoke in a strange place she didnt recognise. She looked around and seen a street sign "Cat street?" She thought to herself. She sat up and looked around..suddenly her mobile rang....no...its a text message.... Kitana took her phone from her bag and checked the message. "Gather: Find a partner, and get in line, cos we're doing a head count to see who's in, and who's out, you got half an hour."

"Partner? Well i have no idea what that means but i dont like the sounds of this half an Hour..." She said outloud to herself. Kitana stood up and put her phone back into her bag and felt something in her pocket. She put her hand into her pocket and pulled out 3 badge looking things.

"When the heck did i buy these? Oh well, noe is not the time to wonder" She shoved them back into her pocket and ran, desprately searching for a "partner". She kept running until suddenly...THUD..


~In Mikasa

Mikasa awoke with a thumping headache "Argh...why is everyone so noisy?!" She whined then suddenly realised she had no idea where she was. She rubbed her eyes and looked around looking for something that looked vaguely familiar.. "Hmm no use, im totally lost'' She whined again.

Just then her mobile received a message. "Gather: Find a partner, and get in line, cos we're doing a head count to see who's in, and who's out, you got half an hour." "Ugh what? What the hell is that suppose to mean?!" Mikasa looked at her phone annoyed and put it back into her bag.

She scrambled to her feet feeling something move in one of her pockets. She put her hand in to discover pins....3 of them. "Eh...what are these?" She said outloud looking at them dumbfounded..

Mikasa thought about the message and decided it was better to listen to it. What choice did she have? She had no idea where she was. She walked out into the street and was suddenly hit by a girl running at high speeds. They both fell to the ground rubbing their heads.

Yuki:
"aaaaah... crap why does my head hurt so bad..." yuki yelled out at noone as he stood up off the ground... "whats with all these people..." yuki thought as he watched the people walk around him not noticing him at all...
As he pondered what this meant his phone went off loudly in his pocket... however as he reached into his pocket the lid of something opened and he felt an imense heat on his hand "ahhh!!! god damnit my freakin hand!!!!" yumika yelled as he pulled out a lighter along with his phone which had a text that said "Gather: Find a partner, and get in line, cos we're doing a head count to see who's in, and who's out, you got half an hour."

Ryo:
"five more minutes mum... I want to sleep somemore.." ryo said quietly as he slowly opened his eyes only to find he wasnt in bed but on the ground in the middle of a street filled with people... "waaaa!!! wat the where am I?" ryo screamed as he looked around for some sort of land mark...
"hmmm seems like im at the entrance to central street... but whats with these people... they didnt even look when i yelled out... and come to think of it wouldnt they find it strange if they saw a boy lying in the middle of a street... I wo" ryo was interrupted by the sound of a phone goin off in his pocket...
he had recieved a text saying "Gather: Find a partner, and get in line, cos we're doing a head count to see who's in, and who's out, you got half an hour." hmmm i wonder what that means... o well" ryo thought as he got up off the ground... he also noticed his headphones were on the ground next to him... "hmmm i wonder if they still work" he thought as he picked them up... however his thoughts were interupted by the pained yell of someone nearby... "ahhh!!! god damnit my freakin hand!!!!"...
hearing this ryo instinctivly ran off in the direction of the yell to find a boy who looked a bit older than him shaking onee hand as if to cool it down and checking his phone with the other...
"did you get that message to?" ryo asked...
the boy turned around with a menaical grin on his face "yes i did... Partner"...

IN:
A player who was already partnered up, noticed something on the palm of his hand, it was a timer, and it was counting down from thirty minutes. It was safe to say that this was the timer, but if it hadn't been for a slight burning sensation, he wouldn't have noticed it. Nonetheless, the player walked off towards the 104.

~Enter: Katou~

No...Not that...please...Ahhhhhh! Visions flashed though his mind...His memory...Pain...Agony...His locket...Why...No god please! The taste of blood lingered in the back of his throat...Dull aching all over his body. Why me...

Footsteps rattled in his head as Katou snapped awake. Dead...No, wait...Shiyuba scramble? He sat up...Not quite believing his situation. He moved his arms...Seemed stable enough. He stood up. Okay...Next step, he looked around. The people can't see me...Hmm. His hand suddenly reached for his neck, panic rising when what should be there, wasn't. No...They took it.

His phone buzzed softly in his pocket; the shock brought him back to reality. "Gather: Find a partner, and get in line, cos we're doing a head count to see who's in, and who's out, you got half an hour." 'What? Uggh!' He recoiled suddenly as what appeared to be a timer was burned into his right hand. The dull ache did not subside for some time. 'A...Partner?' He looked around, not seeing anyone else like himself. He took a step forward and trod on something hard. 'Oh...My Violin...I wonder, can I use this?' He picked it up; the bow too and gently played a few notes.

He was happy he had his violin...Yet the happiness turned to fear when he was suddenly surrounded by...well, he didn't know what actually. They didn't seem friendly...'Damn...Guess I should run for it!' Katou sprinted off towards Haichiko, sprinted for his life.

~Enter: Aroura~

I'm...Here...The Game... Aroura blinked twice and looked around. Brother...I'll free you...I promise. She clutched her game pin, unbekownst to the fact she'd be able to read peoples minds. Interesting...This will be useful. She slipped her hand into her pocket and pulled out several pins. 'Pins? These must be what I need to fight the noise.' She put them back, and pulled out her phone, which had just vibrated loudly, recieving a message. "Gather: Find a partner, and get in line, cos we're doing a head count to see who's in, and who's out, you got half an hour."

'Yeowch!' She jumped at the burning sensation throbbing on the palm of her left hand. 'Timer...great. Need a partner now.' She casually walked towards the statue of Haichiko, for she assumed others would be gathering there.

The first think she saw was a red-headed boy that appeared to be in trouble, unable to fight due to the need for a partner. 'Hey you Reddy! Sync with me!' Aroura shouted, happy when the boy turned to look at her, yet also irritated by the fact he appeared clueless. Great...I guess he doesn't look like he want's to be here. Not that I really do, but it's the only way...

[Jadeabella]

"Owwwww!!!!!" Kitana wailed as she rubbed her head then fixing up her glasses. "Likewise...." Spat Mikasa as she also rubbed her head, opening her eyes she caught sight of something on her hand. "What the HELL!?!?" As she found a timer counting down on her hand. "Um..hey do you....." She trailed off when she looked at the girl before her.

Kitana had also seemed to notice the timer after she had fixed her glasses and her eyes re-adjusted. She blinked a few times vacantly before hold her hand up to show the girl sitting across from her. Since they both had a timer Kitana began to ask "Umm...excuse me but..did you receive a strange sms?" Looking through her bag she found her mobile phone and read out the text. Mikasa nodded and showed the same message.

"Well....since we're both here and have these clock things...how about we team up?" Kitana suggested, looking shly over her glasses. ""Errr....sure why not, its not like we have alot of time to argue, id rather not find out when this thing in my hand reaches zero.." Mikasa replied. "Cool so its settled..My name is Kitana Akasaka...but everyone calls me Kitty." and held out her hand.

"Im Mikasa Hinoiki..everyone calls me Miki.." And shook Kitty's hand. The both glanced at each other for a moment...both having a feeling that they knew the other but were unsure. "Well we better go find this line before the time runs out. Kitty said as she got to her feet and helped up Miki. "*Sigh* Great! I have a partner thats one thing to ease my mind in this strange place..* they both thought as the went to look for the "line"......

~Katou's POV~

Reddy? Is she talking to me? Katou stared across the clearing at her, wondering who she was. If she can see me, she's in the same situation as I am...What's syncing I wonder...? Katou jumped backwards away from the Noise and ran over to her. 'Katou's the name, pleased to meet you.' He held out the hand displaying the timer, offering.

'Hm? Aroura, and charmed, I'm sure.' she reciprocated, holding out ther own timered hand to his. Katou cleared his throat, 'So you said something about syncing?'

~Aroura's POV~

He really doesn't have a clue, does he...I feel sorry for him in a way. 'Heh, yeah...c'mon, lets take those noise down together, then head to the 104.' She smiled sincerly...for a change, and they entered the battle.

~Normal POV~

The battle didn't last long, thanks to Aroura's pins. It seemed she had a good hang on how to activate and use them. The same could be said for Katou, whose natural musical abilities had proved to be a great asset during the battle. 'Wow...' Aroura stood, open mouthed, staring at Katou. 'You're amazingly talented at that...' She beamed, taken aback by his violinist presence.

'Thanks...I've played my whole life...Kinda second nature to me now I guess.' He shuffled his feet nervously on the gorund. 'So...You looked hot...I mean Awesome fighting back their!' Katou's cheeks flushed redder than his hair as Aroura giggled, blushing also.

'Come on...Lets head to 104...I don't want to lose this game.' Aroura grabbed Katou's arm and dragged him with her. 'Can you explain what's going on please, Aroura. You seem to know...About this so-called 'game'.' Katou asked, still running along.

'Sure, i'll explain on the way.' Aroura amiled as they crossed over the wall into the 104.

IN:
Standing at many entrance ways to extra areas, stood red hooded men. It wasn't too noticeable, but with enough space, it was clear that they had black, tattoo wings. Players who came in pairs seemed to be able to walk through the area, however, the people who were alone were unable to pass.

"Pact confirmed, you two may pass", the wings made it clear, he was a Reaper, one of the participants of the game, except not as a Player.

~Kagi~

"Ah... holy shit... ugh... my freaking head..." Kagi mumbled out as he opened his eyes. He was laying on the side of something and people were walking all over but didn't seem to notice him.
Huh...? This looks... familiar... Kagi thought as he looked around. He stood up, his head cleared, he calmly looked around. He noticed a sign saying 'Pork City'.
Kagi stared at the sign for a while and then said; "I knew it... this is familiar... this is... Shibuya...."

Just then a phone in his pocket rang. "I didn't even have a phone..." Kagi commented as he picket up the phone from his pocket, as he did, he felt other objects within the same pocket. He didn't pick them immediately but was planning on doing so after he saw what his new phone was ringing for. He finally took it in the palm of his left hand and read the message.

"Gather: Find a partner, and get in line, cos we're doing a head count to see who's in, and who's out, you got half an hour."

"Hmm.. partner, huh... I wonder..." he mumbled. He then felt a... painful sensation in the same hand. Although, it didn't bother him, he didn't even bother too look. Kagi then remembered the objects in his pockets, "Oh yeah... what the hell are these things...?" he thought as he stared at them.
He closed his eyes and began thinking "What might this b-" but he was stopped mid sentence as he felt the heating sensation getting hotter and hotter.
He pushed his palm away and opened it, fire blasted out of it.
"Huh?!" he yelled out in confusion.
He then pulled his palm back near him and looked at it, it was then that he noticed the timer on his hand, by the time he did, 10 minutes have passed.
"Shit..." Kagi said.
"Hmm... Building 104 isn't that far from here, but to get there in 20 minutes is..." he muttered.
"Heh... I saw this in a movie.. let's see if it works for real..." he said as he layed his hand next to him, the palm, opened, aiming for the ground.
Kagi concentrated and the fire came blasting out again, pushing him up.
"Yes... no~w.." he continued as he pushed his palm backwards for him to go forward.
It was hard navigating his newly gained powers, but he managed... barely.

As Kagi was trying to fly through the streets, he began thinking.
But the last thing I remember... was hitting that car in the car crash... with... brother... he thought.
No time for this... it doesn't matter if I get to 104 in time if I don't have a partner, I'll try to go there and see if I can find one there... he thought again.

~Tsukyomi~

"What the FUCK just happened?!" Tsukyomi yelled out.
"Last thing I know, was that crash with br-.... BROTHER?!?!" he yelled out again.
"Wait... I died... might this be... HELL?!" He screamed out once more with giant eyes.
"No...no...no... I was a good boy... this must be heaven......... I hope..." he muttered out.
Tsukyomi jumped up and looked around as he saw countless of people walking about, all ignoring him.
Tsukyomi glared at them for a while but then his eyes set upon a street sign, "A-East" was written on it.
"Hmm... odd... bu-" Tsukyomi was stopped in the middle of his sentence as he phone rang in his pocket.
He took out the phone and he got a SMS, on the SMS was;

"Gather: Find a partner, and get in line, cos we're doing a head count to see who's in, and who's out, you got half an hour."

"Shit!!! Son of a bitch! Where the fuck should go and what the hell was that about a partner, what the fuck is this?!?!?!" Tsukyomi yelled out in total confusion.
He then felt a pain coming up from where his phone was.
"Shh! OUW!" he yelled as he looked at the palm of his hand, placing the phone in the other.
"A... clock?... no wait... timer... it's set to 30 minutes... 29 to go... CRAP!!!!" he said.
He placed the phone in the other pocket, but when he did, he heard a clashing sound. He sticked his hand in the other pocket and pulled out 3 pins.
"What... the... hell... Do I look like a freaking ranger scout to you people?!!!" he screamed out to emptyness.
He turned around and saw something forming, and another next to that one and yet another one.

"This doesn't look good... NOT ONE BIT!!!" He said as he ran towards the closest street he could find, the Noise right behind him.
He began sprinting through the street, half way through, he yelled out; "Brother... Where the hell are you, you bastard!!!"

~Both~

Kagi was beginning to reach Dogenzaka, thanks to his fire. He started getting the hang of it as he flew, falling several times.
As he reached the end, his eye set upon someone running at him.
He stopped flying and hovered down as he stopped the person. However, to his shock, it was his twin brother.
"What are you doing here, Tsukyomi?" Kagi asked Tsukyomi.
"Likewise mutherfucker! Leaving me there!!!" Tsukyomi replied as he ran towards him, with the Noise still chasing him.
Kagi stared at Tsukyomi as he ran passed him and hid behind him, from the Noise.
"I'll handle this... stand back..." Kagi said calmly as he raised the palm with the fire pin in it.
"You don't have to tell me twice!!" Replied Tsukyomi as he continued running.

A giant flame came from Kagi's palm, blasting the noise down, for now. He turned and pushed back, to begin flying again.
He soar through where Tsukyomi was running, grabbing him but his necktie and dragging him along.

"T...thanks! But... how the HELL are you doing this?!!" Tsukyomi commented.
"Is that really of such concern at the moment?" Kagi replied.
"Fine..." Tsukyomi replied as he looked at the timer.
"10 Minutes! A little over 10 minutes left! HURRY!!!" Tsukyomi yelled out towards Kagi.
"If you weren't my brother, you would freaking drop you right now..." Kagi replied as he tried to fly harder towards Building 104.
