Lucians chest was heaving as his claws thrashed wildly in the air, mowing down the Arcanians that came swarming around him. All ended up at his feet, the ground beneath them painted with blood...
His massacre was dulled when the dozens stopped to listen to Atticus scream. His friend's words struck straight down into Lucians humanity. He hated this pack too, even as much as he wanted them to accept him as a fellow werewolf rather than a monster or a tool, he hated them..
'Lucian, I don't care about this pack. But I do care about you. Heh, I bet this thing never even told you the truth. You're my cousin, Lucian. We are related by blood. Sure, you're definately more Arcaninian than Fleazine, but my blood nonetheless. And it's because of that fact, I will never let you die.'
The werewolf's angry eyes visibly swelled up as the rest of his once monster body shrunk back into his human form. Bare and soaked in sweat, he snarled at the Arcanians before turning to Atticus. The shock was clear in his eyes. That shock quickly was swallowed by a new determination... "Likewise, Silver. I'll always protect my brethren. Now..." He turned back to the Arcanians, a blood-stained back facing Atticus. "Finish it." His voice was stern, a command he knew Atticus would understand...to finish his father off.
But still the Acranians came. Lucian, even in his human form was able to hold them off by drawing in the moon's energy. His entire body glowed blue, and each earth-shattering punch was matched with a broken jaw or tooth, leaving a pile of defeated scum underneath him.
He would defeat them all until Atticus could slay the demon of his past. His King.
Atticus roared as he plunged his blood soaked claws into Raphaels chest, dealing the fatal blow to the dying king. Blood gurgled in Raphaels throat as he breathed his last words to his son.
'heh...stupid Fleazine...do you know what you've just done?..No...my death means you are the new ruler...Have fun...you are no son of mine...'
Atticus drew his claws out of Raphael, and held his heart up to the sky, which was now breaking dawn.
'Your king is no more. I have nothing more to say to this pack, except, find a new king. That thing lying there is no relative of mine.'
He placed the still-beating heart on the ground and walked over to the pack of Arcaninians that had now ceased fighting with Lucian. 'You heard me. I will never lead your pack. Fight it out among yourselves.' He turned to look at Lucian. He helped his friend stand up, and reverted himself back to human form. 'Come on cousin...lets go home.' They walked out of the blood stained clearing, and Atticus took one final glance back at the dumb-struck pack.
'If you dare attempt to harm the Fleazine in any way, you'll answer to me.'
OOC: hmm, that wrapped up that little fight nice and easily Kay Yama-kun...let the random forest walk ensue ^.^
ooc: oh hellz yes! i thought this rp died and i was really disappointed!
There was momentary relief, which was followed by a rush of extreme pain that throbbed throughout Akkaline's body in sync with her heartbeat.
"Aw, dammit!" she howled. "Fever."
She attempted to get up several times to find that her body gave way and she would end up hitting the ground fairly hard. Eventually, Akkaline gave up on trying to stand, or even sit, and decided the ground was rather nice.
Eventually, Akkaline passed out from the pain and fever.
Oh, Mädchen, you're so lucky do have me.

Lucian swallowed a mouthful of blood, spit, and snot as they both turned to leave. The sounds of pain-laced howls rang in his ears, a sound that reminded him of his dear mother that he had handicapped in a monster rage, and he knew well enough that she would be among the crowd of Arcanians scrambling at the outside...And when she saw the bloodied bodies of their breed, she would know...
Outside of the palace the crowds of fearful werewolves parted like the Red Sea, leaving Lucian and Atticus a free path to leave. Lucian, feeling the sting of guilt pool up in his stomach, galloped off on all fours...his head sunk low to hide his shameful face. He ran in that way until they were far away from the massacre, though the hateful screams still echoed through the night air...
Their battle was far from over.
Lucian led Atticus back to the shelter he had kept them in prior, and stepped inside. He instinctively found the box of matches and lit a candle by the door, holding it by the wax to lead him through the darkness. He approached a box and with familiarized motions opened it, taking out a simple white shirt and pair of jeans, sliding into them soon after.
Beaten, slick with sweat and damned tired, the werewolf slumped against the wall, letting his body slide to the ground. The flicker of the flame lit his face for Atticus to see.
His features were a jumbled mixture of relief and uncertainty. Lucian sighed. "It's best we stay here for the night, don't you think?" His eyes cast into the dark of the shelter. "I don't think we'll have to worry about intrusions this time..."
He felt around for the rest of the candles, picking one up and using the flame from his own to light it. He held it out to Atticus, offering his relative his own source of light. Lucian smiled faintly at him, the battle behind them seeming like a fragmented dream. He wasn't even sure what to say of it, if he should apologize or...
Shrugging off the thoughts, Lucian's eyes slid shut. "We can move out by dawn... And, from now on I think we'll be stuck together for long time coming." He blew out the flame. "It's good to have you back Atticus."
Slumber didn't come soon enough for the werewolf though, as he remembered that tonight he shouldn't have been able to control his form... She's still close...
OOC: Again Im sorry for my long ass posts lmao...There you go kitty Ill try to keep up the pace with this more...
Lucian led Atticus back to the shelter he had kept them in prior, and stepped inside. He instinctively found the box of matches and lit a candle by the door, holding it by the wax to lead him through the darkness.
Atticus, having reverted back to his human form, was a mess of blood and sweat. He was thankful that Lucian had found them somewhere to stay. The shelter smelled familiar, he noted it was the one they had stayed in previously. The inky darkness became lit up when Lucian lit a candle. He walked over to were Lucian had got some clothes, and pulled out a shirt and some loose trousers. He patted his side to feel for his lucky dagger, but to his horrified shock, it wasn't there! No..NO! That bastard! Raphael... He muttered something inaudiable to Lucian, and lay against the cooling wall, feeling himself drift off.
Lucian sighed. "It's best we stay here for the night, don't you think?" His eyes cast into the dark of the shelter. "I don't think we'll have to worry about intrusions this time..."
Atticus smiled at Lucian's comment. 'Yeah...we shouldn't..If any Arcaninian bastard gets within 10 miles of this place i'll kill them.' Atticus said with a yawn, he was extremely tired. He noticed Lucian was too.
Lucian's eyes slid shut. "We can move out by dawn... And, from now on I think we'll be stuck together for long time coming." He blew out the flame. "It's good to have you back Atticus."
'Heh...you too...Cousin...' Atticus lay down, trying to forget about his lost dagger, the battle, the kills, the everything...All that mattered, was that he and Lucian would live to fight another day.
Akkaline ran her fingers through the cold soil. She dug her nails in it ever now and again, letting the dirt get under her fingernails.
She had actually just gotten out of the tunnel she had been left in, even though nightfall had come hours before. Akkaline had actually been exploring the tunnel system for most of her time awake as she waited for her to regain consciousness. Fevers were troublesome, she knew that, but she couldn't believe that a mere 39 degrees would cause her other half to pass out; she had withstood a whopping 41 degrees before she lost consciousness.
But she hasn't remembered that yet, has she? That was one of the ones I buried deep when i repressed my memory. So, so deep.
She stood up and stared at the cabin in the distance. It was still in view, though she couldn't make out much.
I wonder if the doggies are back. I hope Atticus and Lucian are OK.
Akkaline immediately turned around and punched the nearest tree.
What am I thinking?
She threw another punch.
Who cares about them?
Her fists continued scrapping at the bark of the tree until she realized that her knuckles had begun bleeding. She held up her left hand and licked away the blood. Once all the blood as gone she lifted her hand up to her eyes.
Nasty werewolves.
Akkaline drew her right hand to her left and dug her nails into the wounds, dragging down hard. When she noticed how strong the scent of her blood was, she treated her wounds properly.
"I hope no one smells that,"
