Rhea had finished her shower and was laying on the hotel bed. She about to driff off into sleep but then she heard screaming and crashing from below her window. Rhea jumped to her feet and ran to window opening it and looking down. She blinked twice before realizing she wasnt just seeing things. Rhea swore chess pieces were attacking...and well they actually were. Looking closer she saw only one person was fighting them. Looking even closer she recognized he person fighting. It was the man she had fought earlier...Tri.

I might as well help him.... she though as she jumped out of the window landing perfectly on her feet next to him.

"So we meet again tri...glad to see it can be on friendly terms this time...need help?" she asked with a toying manner to her voice. Rhea stepped over a little so that she was in a shadow. Out of no were she once again pulled her shadow sword. Rhea was still tired from her and tri's fight but the food earlier plus the shower and little rest she had gotten had fairly pumped her up.

Just then one of the knights charged. Taking a stance Rhea yelled out "Shadow Screech!" again. The same thing as what had happened with tri occured only she hadnt made the blast quite as strong simply because she had less energy. It was more then enough to take the knight that was charging them down though. She watched as it collapsed down into a chess piece.

"This is going to be an odd fight isnt it..." she mumbled looking back at the chess like enemies before her.

There was the it was!!!! The same energy he felt before!!!This time it was coming from outside the hotel..."Yes!!!! finally some action!!!!!" Simon jumped up and ran outside to find some very pleasing sites...

First what he noticed was two Speakers, obviously very high level Speakers and......Chess pieces? Simon was confused, but that was not going to stop him from fighting....No matter what the challenge was he was going to face it. Then a random thought passed his mind....."Why have i been sitting in that hotel and have not served me yet?..."Simon thought about it more for a few seconds then brushed the matter off...

All he knew was that he was going to fight and that was enough for him...Simon rushes to the fight and almost immediately Simon burst out with an attack move......"RRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH SPIRAL WATER DRILLLLLL!!!!!!!!!!!" He crashes into one of the pieces that now occurred to him that it was a Rook that he just hit.."Yes direct hit!!!!",but then the piece collapsed and reformed.. "Wow!!! This thing can regenerate? Awesome!!!!!!! This fight is going to be real fun!!!!"

BOOM!

A loud explosion had occurred somewhere near the Misty Window. Izure looked out her office window but couldn't see a thing. She opened up a portal and hopped inside. The portal led her out above the Misty Window's rooftop. There, she could see that a bank robbery was going on. She leaned back and slipped into one of her portals again, this time she appeared underneath the front desk. She saw two pairs of feet but judging from the shoes, it was Itsu.

" Izure-sama. What are you doing under here? Did the explosion scare you? " Itsu said with a mischievous voice.

Izure grinned. " No. I'm merely taking shortcuts. " She crawled out of the front desk and dusted herself. " Itsu. Let's go check it out. " Itsu nodded and and the two girls went outside the Misty Window to see the action. Nanigoto was their already, watching some hunters fight the bank robbers. The man turned around and looked at his co workers. " It's been years since I've seen a real fight like this. "

Izure smiled. " Are you planning on something Goto-kun? "

" Heh. It's not like you care you old coot. " Nanigoto said with a frowned look. A trashcan dropped out of the sky and smacked him on the head. " What was that for?! "

" Don't call me old. It's an insult to a woman's pride. " She chuckled. " Now, let's go see that battle up close. Izure, take care of the guests. Me and Nani will go to a live action movie. " Izure laughed and her, and Nanigoto, walked towards the battle field.

"Oh... Some guests, and by the looks of it you're all pretty skilled... Not like many", said a man, in an arrogant tone. He wore clothing that was fit for royalty, a long coat with fine fabric in the color of white, and the rims were thick and colored gold. His hair was fair and blond, his facial expression was calm, as if in a noble manner, he seemed like a wise and young king. His eyes were deep blue and his boots were high and looked overly expensive. His pants were tight, but otherwise, white.

"Well, as you can all see", he said, lifting one empty hand, as the other hand was holding a white king chess piece. The knight and two pawn pieces, flew straight into his hand,

"these are chess pieces, now if you have anyone in mind to join for a little, call them over, the more the merrier", he continued. As he flicked his wrist, the king in his hand disappeared, and with another flick, two kings appeared, one black, one white.

"I think... I'll play as white today", he said as the black king morphed into a white queen. And flicking the queen off, a noble lady appeared, wearing a dress with small patches of armor, small shoulder pads and a long, strong looking staff. Her face didn't seem unrealistic in the slightest, unlike the faceless rooks and the sculpture-like faces of the pawns. She seemed real. Before anyone could speak, the man looked at his opponents, one lady, a girl, two boys and some man with a sword. So in order of appearance, the king, he thought, looking at the boy who used electricity. The queen, the girl who arrived using some type of sound attack, the knight, the boy who used water, and the bishop, which was the lady who arrived not long ago, along with the other knight, the man with the sword. So that was two knights, a king, queen and a bishop. Not a bad board.

"Right, so shall we start?", he said, flicking his arm, and as if it was a magic trick, many white chess pieces arose, filling in the missing places. All the pawns were filled up, and the bishop sections too. Sections? Why was Tri thinking sections? He looked down... he was standing on a black square, he looked across the field, the area in a limited space was being locked in, as a giant chess board began to form.

"Don't worry, you can't damage these things...", he said.

"But I get the first move... And as common courtesy, let me introduce myself, I am Cheqmate Jack the White King", he finished, as he flung his arm straight forward, and with that, four pawns began to run up, and the knights got ready to attack.

Personality: An expert in chess, he's hardly angered, but rather he's calm at every move he makes, because he knows he's going to win. He's pretty much got a move for every possibility, well nearly, he's calculating, risks and gains from moves, though when he fights an opponent a second time, he nearly always wins. On the first time, it's difficult for him. He and his brother, when they get bored they often argue on a past time. If it was chess, Black would always lose, but if it was Blackjack, Cheqmate would always lose.

Abilities-
Element: Earth
Earphones: He has small earphones, they're nearly invisible from afar though
Listening device: It seems that the king pieces he has emanate some sort of wireless music
Main Ability: Summoning chess pieces, as the king he can create a barrier to protect himself. Knights are capable of mid-range sword blasts, slow and powerful, rooks are capable of making the ground shoot across a straight fissure, bishops are more of a cover type, as they shoot shields that can explode. Pawns are just normal foot soldiers, with swords and a shield.
Finale: Unlike many other finales, this one lasts for as long as he wishes, unless he is defeat or something. He summons the queen, who makes a chessboard. No one can come in, nor can they get out, he summons the full set of one side of a chess board depending on the color he has chosen. Knights will sort of teleport in the path that knights go in chess, since there's a chess board under it, it'll be easy to predict it, bishops can only move diagonally, rooks can only move straight, the queen can pretty much move anywhere, and the pawns just run. They all still have their abilities though, like the Knight's mid-range attack.

Simon watched in awe as a main calling himself, Cheqmate Jack the white king, summoned a white queen. Then, from the white queen's activation, a chessboard appeared underfoot. Surprised, Simon stepped back. "What the hell is this? Whatever, White King....I'll kick your ass...You can summon up any guy you want...I'll just knock them out as well....Here I come White King!!!!!" As Simon charged for the first strike, suddenly a white knight chess piece appeared in front of him... Then it tackled him to the ground....Then before Simon got up, The knight used some type of jolting blast of rock that blasted Simon with more force than the tackle attack it did earlier...BOOM!!!!!!" AAAGGGHHHH!!! What the?" Simon said as he fell backwards,"How did that happen? This dude came out of no where! So you think you can take me on huh? Hydro Drill!!!!!" Simon lunged at the knight guy, but this summoned up dude was better than he expected, the knight dodged then struck him again.This time Simon took on heavy damage."Crap!!!! I got to get away from him!!!!"then Simon gets out of range" Hmmm..If my theory is correct, then rocky here is only good at mid ranged swordplay...Ouch...I took a big hit just now.. If can just get some time to heal myself using my water... Maybe he won't charge...."But Simon was wrong because Simon was now out of range, the knight moved closer for another attack, as it came up it took a hard left as it rushed in. Now that it was in the square next to Simon it swung its sword, but Simon jumped out of the way. At first, Simon thought that the knight tried to use a feint, but that wasn't the case..The real reason it moved the way it did was because it was a knight. "This is a game of Chess!! The same rules apply!! Ha!! This game will be too predictable..Too easy.."Also Simon noticed that although it was powerful, it wasn't a speed type.. That would make it even easier." So once I get rid of this loser, I'll go for Cheqmate....This'll be fun....."

Well, this boy taking the first charge. Well, took him long enough to figure it out, Cheqmate said a "fair game of chess". Of course he gets all the pieces, he and his team just get to use whatever they can. But the problem was that the four pawns were already running a charge at him.

"You're in check Black King", said Cheq. He's king? What on earth? When did? These questions flashed through his head as he struck one pawn, which already tried to make a normal strike at him.

-Boss-
He planned to create a diversion using his knight's faster manouverability. After he clears up some space with his pawns, he'll move his rooks over and around, and create a pincer movement using the rook's fissure capabilities. But first, he'll move the bishops to the sides prematurely, just to make some cover, covering the knights first, and then the rooks when the movement arises. His queen will be made as a last resort, as she has unknown capabilities.

Though, from what Cheq saw, these opponents were pretty generic, but the others have yet to make a move. Well, let's see what everyone can do, and then he may revise a new plan.

BOOOOM!!!!BOOM BOOM BOOM!!!!! Simon had been knocking guys left and right now.."Well this is a nice workout Cheqmate!!!!! Water wall!!!!! Aqua Drill!!!! Dousing cannon!!!!! Come on this is to easy!!!! Give me a challenge ya loser!!!!" Simon tried to taunt the king because he thought that if he could defeat the king everything else would fall..

One thing Simon was worried about was the Queen...She was standing there watching her loyal followers fall in battle contently.. Simon suspected that she had something up her sleeve, but he knew that in chess you leave the queen as you last defense, because that was the strongest piece on the field.The King and Queen stood there waiting for there time to fight.."Hey Jack, do you think you can burn me out with weaklings like these bunch of lamos, then sneak in for a finishing blow when I'm down?Ha! That won't work!!!! Hydro blast!!!" BOOM!! the knight he had been fighting fell again along with a pawn that was caught in the crossfire charging for the other Speakers on the field...


That reminded him..What were they doing?"Uhh...Slackers..." He saw one of them move to attack the pawns, but the other two weren't doing anything...Which annoyed him a little, but overall he was focused on his very fun fight.."You know what Jack? You are a really cool opponent!! It's fun fighting you, but someone has to lose sooner or later and it's going to be me that wins!!" Simon thought of using his finishing move, but decided to save it for later since he could only use it once per fight.."Alright here i go again!!!"

The battle between Cheqmate Jack, Simon and the other Speakers rages on.....

Rhea had been thinking the entire fight out. They were on a chess board and were being treated like pieces in the game. After a moment of narrowing things down rhea decided that she must be considered this sides queen. Interesting...she thought as she started thinking of which attack to use. It was much later in the afternoon so rhea was begining to enter her element as the shadows grew longer, but she still didnt have enough energy to continually use her shadow sword or shadow screech. Rhea had been standing there eyes closed thinking for a few minutes now. She needed an attack that would cause the most damage to the most pieces but that wouldnt cost to much energy. Finally she had a plan and opened her eyes.

A handful of pieces had gone to close in on her but that wouldnt be a problem. Rhea was now going to use shadow blast which consisted of condensing shadows with dark magic then blasting it through enemys. Its range was surprisingly shallow but its destructive force was extreme. What made it easier on rhea was the fact that she already had a condensed shadow pressent, her shadow sword. All she would need to do was alter the shape and infuse it with some dark power. The pieces that had surrounded her began to close in. Rhea lifted her sword then made a motion that looked somewhat like she just crammed the entire sword down into her palm. When she adjusted her hands again you could see where there was a ball of condensed darkness resting were her sword had been. Then taking a stance rhea closed her eyes and blasted out the beam of shadows. The enemys that had surrounded her were cut literally in two. After which rhea stood back up strait and took a deep breath. Opening her eyes back up she saw the severed pieces collapse down like the others had.

Rhea looked at Cheqmate Jack with a large grin and said "Your going to have to throw more then these lousy chess pieces at me to win."

"What the f***?"Simon looked on as the pieces were destroyed all at once..." I noticed her before....She was the girl that went to the bathroom at that hotel....I didn't think that she was that powerful...."


Simon looked on to the white king..He wasn't looking too happy anymore.Whatever plan that guy had...It was gone now."Shadow Blast....I'll have to remember that technique...In case I ever fight her.. That had to have taken a huge amount of energy...But she looks fine..." Simon looked at the now half empty field."Err. Well....Yeah take that ya douche bag! Looks like it's Checkmate for you Jack!" But again Simon was wrong....More pieces came back for another round."Damn him..Doesn't he ever run out of energy?" This time more pawns came for an attack together.."You guys are going down!!!Water Shark Cannon!!!!!"BOOOOOOM!!!!All the pawns went flying back then they were chomped by the water shark. Then with complete concentration, he kept the water in shark form, making it a front line of defense."Now that I have my Shark you guys are really gone now!".....

Tri found himself moving slower than much usual, the space was too small, and there were too many things happening on the board. Also, the attacks being carried out by his team seemed to work well, and if he got in the way, it'd be a giant loss. He was labeled king after all.

"Water boy, don't get too confident, all he used were his pawns, he's yet to use the rest of his pieces!", he yelled. But as if on que, the bishops moved into a symmetrical position, and the knights quickly drew back into a defensive position, in front of the king and queen.

Clicking his fingers together, Cheq chuckled as the bishops raised their staffs, and sent white blasts of oblivion in random directions. It seemed that Simon's shark was being affected heavily. Tri quickly covered his body in thunder, to reduce the damage he was going to take, and to his extreme surprise, the damage that everyone took, except for the shark, was minimal. Then he realized that it was only farce, to cover their vision, as the rooks took up both the right and left flank... He had a feeling, but he didn't know what was going to happen, moving one square forward, he turned around to find that the row he stood on exploded, covering his face, he guarded himself from the force.

Mean while, the front row was having extra problems, two knights attacked simultaneously as they aimed for Simon and his shark pet. Starting with the troublesome looking pet, their helmets covering their faces as the charged in with their giant swords, while the bishops sent blasts of white energy, that screamed as it traveled across the air, covering the assault that the knights pulled off. There were no longer any pawns... But these knights, bishops and rooks made up for it with over five times the efficiency.
