[Exaltations]

In some rare occasions, when a child is born they bear a sign on their body, these signs are various symbols seen in different mythology, representing different Gods and Goddesses from many different cultures, Roman, Egyptian, Japanese and others. The people who give birth to such children are supposed to give them up at the age of fourteen so that they can attend a special school on an island in the Atlantic ocean before their powers develop so that not only can they be trained in proper control, but they can be taught of the legends of people around them, as well as be secluded from society. If people were aware of the reincarnations of Gods and Goddesses, chaos would occur, some would be worshiping these mostly average teens as well as others trying to kill them.

As there are only few of them, the students are only scheduled for one or two hour-long classes a day on a five-day week, some classes for power control and fighting techniques and some classes to learn mythology whether it be their own roots or the roots of some of their peers.

Origin: Er... the Bible.

Tattoo: A pentagram on his forehead, though it always looks as if someone has freshly drawn it with blood.
About them: Lucian was actually in seclusion his whole life, unlike most of the other reincarnations who get to live a normal life until they're of age for the school. When he was just a three-year old child and able to play outside, he already showed behaviors of being well.. who he is, he started killing small animals and such, and it didn't help that he had red eyes and hair with a tattoo on the middle of his forehead that looked like it was written in blood. He was held in a heavily armed cell, not allowed to be exposed to anything living other then the people who took care of him on a very short daily basis.
Personality: Although he is evil, he's not exactly cold... he's seductive and always seems to be smirking about something whether it be plotting to get someone intoxicated to get into their pants, getting into someone's pockets for their money or valuables, or planning on murder... he does that a lot.
Special Abilities: Being the reincarnation of a fallen angel, he has wings and the ability of flight, though he can also control fire... and do other magical things, he always has this allure of his that draws women to him, too, whether it be to kill them or to ... do other things.

Name: Allen Deerdre
Reincarnation of: Anubis- God of death and the afterlife
Origin: Egypt
Age: 16
Appearance:
Tattoo: A jackals paw-print with a heart inside of it. (since anubis was the jackel and he did the weighing of the hearts)
About them: Allen is a quiet kid. He prefers talking to the spirits instead of other people. When he was 14 he was sent to the special school to learn about his powers and such. His mother had always told him he was special and allen had always heard and seen spirits. He never figured all of that ment he was a reincarnation, he especialy was shocked to find out he was anubis in a sense. Allen has attended the school for two years now and is surprisingly skilled and finds he has no problems with controling his power. He would have been free to leave the school a long time ago had one thing been setteled...how far did his power extend? Without knowing this he cant be let loose and thus remains at the school.
Personality: Quiet, prefers being alone, it is extremely difficult but not impossible to make friends with him.
Special Abilities: Currently he talks and see's spirits. He has the ability to eradicate evil spirits and help good ones. Due to this fact he has to be an extremly good character judge. He would have been set loose from the school but no one is sure if this is the max extent of his powers. Its possible Allen might pose as a new grim reaper but it is currently unknown if his power extends that far.

Name: Caren Letheens
Reincarnation of: Ate- Goddess of evil and misfortune.
Origin: Greek
Age: 17
Appearance:
Tattoo: If you look in the pic you can see the one on her hand..thats it.
About them: It may be impossible to tell from her looks alone but Caren is a true troble maker. In reality she is one of the more evil reincarnates. She uses her power, which is the ability to cause misfortune and her outstanding ability to persuade others into doing rash bad things, Caren wreaks havoc in the school. She is friendly and seems sweet but anyone who truly knows her is aware of the fact that she has a fairly dark heart. Caren is still at the school because they are afraid that if they set her loose the world will fall to chaos at the little girls hands...lol ok maybe not to that extent but you get it.
Personality: Friendly and sweet on the outside...dark and power hungry on the inside.
Special Abilities: Caren can cause people to go through intense spells of misfortune, but she cannot kill with her power. She also has the ability to persuade just about anyone to do bad things, all it takes is for her to get in their head....that or she makes their luck so bad they cant help but listen to her in hope of a better day.

OoC: Don't fight me on this Naomi. Anubis became the god of embalming and was tossed out of his own kingdom after I think Osiris learned that he was his son.

Name: Jarik Rudess
Reincarnation of: Seker
Origin: Egypt
Age: 18
Appearance: A little taller then normal with wavy hair at approximately waist length with tanned skin. He has hazel/brown eyes which his wife, Marlina, are in love with. Often refering to his eyes as Khonsu and Re-Horakhty's orbs.
Tattoo: A winged man with with and ankh in his left hand and a staff of life in his right.
About them:In Memphis, Seker was worshipped as the patron god of the necropolis, and so was known as (one who is) on the sand; the necropolis itself, then became known as Sakkara after his name. In Thebes he had a dedicated festival, known as the Henu Festival, in which an image of Seker was carried in a barque, representing the ferry that carried the deceased through Aaru.

Egyptian legends say that Seker's domain resided in the ever-shifting sands outside of Memphis. Unlike Osiris' kingdom (which was reserved for the blessed, consisted of fields and flowing water), Seker's domain was reserved for the wicked, and was shrouded in impenetrable blackness. It was populated with terrible serpents and other reptiles of "terrifying aspect". These creatures sometimes had two, or even three heads. They were meant to keep order in Seker's domain and keep his image. This was because Seker did not reside necessarily in his own domain, but in his hidden chambers deep into the earth. He rarely came up, so there was little desire for his cult members to want to reside there.

There is also a company of eight more minor gods in Seker's kingdom. Their job is to consummate the final destruction of the bodies of the damned. They emitted liquid fire from their mouths (destruction by fire was only used for the blessed or important) in order to get rid of the bodies.

Seker's domain could be harbored only in the fourth and fifth hours of night.


Personality: Dark, cold, calculating and harsh.
Special Abilities: Can speak with the shadows and the dead as they roam around. When in a sand covered or desert like area his body can sink into the sand and bring him almost any where in that area instantly. The sand acts as transportation. When it rains and Jarik is about a thick black mist often envelopes the surrounding areas. Chains and loud reptillian roars can often be heard signalling death. Many witnesses often say blood randomly splatters about from the mist. And when the mist has cleared no trace of a body or people can be found.

Name: Marlina Rudess
Reincarnation of: Uamenti
Origin: Egypt
Age: 18
Appearance: She is a taller girl with tanish skin and is about 5'7. She has long black hair just below her shoulder blades. She has beautiful brown eyes which Jarik absolutely adores. She is often considered one of the many beauties of her age and time.
Tattoo: A naked woman with several snakes covering her body with chains in her hand which is leashed to a 2 headed beast with her man, Seker next to her.

About them: Uamenti is the female keeper of Sekers domain and temples. She controls all of the Terrible Lizard Beasts which crawl through the thick black of Sekers domain. She is often seen with her pet, Duat. Duat is usually a 2 or sometimes a 3 headed snake like beast with wings and a tail which terminates the human skull and destroys their body and soul through means of liquid fire.

Personality: The exact same as her husband, Jarik.
Special Abilities: She is often seen with her crocodile pet, Sebek. Which is rumoured to be the actual god himself and her snake-scorpion hybrid slave, Duat, during the black mists in which she prowls with Jarik. Her ability allows her to commune with them. Many rumors state that she can even speak with the long dead reptiles which once roamed the untamed lands.


She and Jarik are often found near rivers. Should they not be found near rivers they are often any where music is found or anything that deals with music. Both are completely intolerant of mindless and pointless violence.

Reincarnation of: Yama, Buddhist god of death
Origin: Japan
Age: 19
Appearance: His whole appearance is actually quite handsome, but for the fact that his eyes show a person who seems as if they've died enough times to show everyone the feeling, and the chilling feeling of his presence, he is overall a dark person. His hair is about average length, also pretty average in hairstyle, he wears a black coat, black pants, light yet sturdy leather shoes, and he has a glove on his left hand to cover his patterns.
Tattoo: It's actually a strange set of patterns going over his left arm, stops at his elbow. If someone were to make out the Japanese symbols in the pattern, it would say "Yama". The patterns are black.
About them:
Personality: He's overall quiet, withdrawn and very passive, not liking to get involved in disputes, not really interested in a person and their troubles. Though he knows when to speak and when not to. His quiet attitude changes when he reaches a fight though, since he is the reincarnation of a god of death, he aims to kill during a fight, a demon during a fight, killing is all he aims for in a fight. "Reap the souls" he says, "the underworld needs more dead people", he says, he sounds pretty crazy.

Special Abilities: His special ability lies in his left hand, while he has a glove on it, he can't use it. But he can do three things with it, one, he can create any weapon made of some black, steel substance, his favorite is the scythe and after that, sword. Next, it allows him to touch ghosts as if they were human, but only with the mark arm. After that, it allows him to make a person see their death, but he has to have his palm on their face in order to make them see it. Aside from that, he can speak with ghosts, which is pretty much basic, he also has a giant prowess in many martial arts, a god of death needs to be capable of killing doesn't he?
