Hey guys I'm new around here, but I love to write so I thought I'd start this thread where we take it inturns adding onto the story while also critiquing each others paragraphs. You can take it in any direction and we'll just see what happens. Try and keep it to one paragraph though so everyone gets a turn. Anyway, lets get this started:

White lights, bands or red and black. The flowing of my emotions, my fallen state. As my head lifts, the carnage that was once my beautiful home of Freebird fades away, the ashes swept so carelessly, down the forgotten road of time, no hint as to the memories of suffering and death they hold. A lark, like black to white, sits on the fringe of chaos’s dieing hand, staring onward as the smoke rises. Bodies lay scattered, love and labor crumbling around them, mocking their unjustly departure. My untrained hands tremble as the little will I have left pushes my broken body upwards. The carnage is like a doctor’s medicine, bitter and harsh, no mercy for the taste buds, yet giving strength, a revitalized sense suddenly fuelled by the harsh reality of my situation. With no direction, no purpose other than to satisfy the lion of revenge biting at my heart, I move forward. Down the road of memories I walk, sword in hand, a fallen slump in my walk, yet persistence in my legs. They will pay. They will pay dearly.

Oh and finally you don't have to keep it in this guys P.O.V you can do whatever you think will work well.
