Wherever you go, it's all the same. People die before they besmirch their family name, or before they go back on an order, or for failing to complete a task. Blind faith doesn't get anyone, anywhere. Here in the Feudal world, dishonor, could probably be the reason for most deaths. It's kind of sad if you think about it, choosing to die over dishonor... I'd probably go with life, and repent. To me the ones who take their own lives, are too scared to face reality. If they can do it once, they can do it again. If they had no limit to their lives, they'd probably have died a hundred times, or more specifically, committed suicide a hundred times. It really is kind of sad, but that's how this world goes. Death before Dishonor.

The Feudal world, this area is loosely based off of Feudal Japan, you can come from other countries if you wish, like a Knight fresh from the crusades, or a Viking, nice and frosty from the arctic areas. Just as long as it's not someone who uses a gun or two. The Feudal world is currently going through a phase, where honor becomes stepped down, meaning honor and such will be put in lower regard. It's all over the area, gossip on this and that, about Samurais who have betrayed their masters, but after doing so, have taken their lives. It may not seem much for that, but once you hear, that the amount of Ronins (Samurais who forsook their master) that have arisen, then you'll see why this world is taking a turn for discarding of honor.

There is no specification on who you can be, just be anyone, try to live in this world. Make yourself into a hero, or a criminal, become a legend, or a temporary scourge. It's all your choice. The sort of "jobs" available? There are plenty, Samurai, Viking, Knight, Ninja, Shaolin Monk, as long as it's within the Feudal range. To be honest I'm not sure if Vikings were about the time of Feudal systems, but who cares. Who doesn't want some lumpy old, drunkard who wields some giant axe? Well, but still, as long as it isn't as far-fetched as a guy who has dual, laser pistols, a light saber, two plasma grenades fresh from the Halo franchise, and a large ass Laser Bazooka with fish lips and two googly eyes.

Name: Kokuei Shuriken

Society Standing: A professional assassin by trade, a ninja by code.

Appearance: His eyes and hair are black, his hair is slightly short, the back section of his hair reaches his chin, while the rest reach his eyes. His hair is slightly spiky. He wears a black scarf, it's strands go down to his kness, a cloth vest and a long sleeved, black shirt. His pants more casual, but nonetheless, comfortable. He wears steel plated gloves which also cover his arm to his elbow. He wears sturdy shoes, which are extremely light and flexible. He wears a belt with all ten of his shuriken, all with only one blade unsheathed, which is their sheathed state.

Weapon(s): A shuriken, with four straight, triangular blades. All blades are 15cm in length. They can flip into one blade to make it easier to carry. He has around ten of them strapped around his belt. He can also use anything sharp to throw as a weapon. He also carries a small blade, about 50cm in length.

Combat Style: He's quick, and his attacks are numerous. Counter attacking and feint attacking as his primary array of attacks. His secondary array is a more direct set of special attacks, which are used for killing strikes or for towards the final blow.

Special Skills-
Feint Dash: It's like attacking shadow, hit where you think he is, and he reappears around two metres away. He can use this to dash past difficult attacks too.

Multiplication Technique: This isn't your conventional clone creation, this is a multiplication technique. It makes a mirror image of an object, then using your mind, you can control it freely. You can even clone another person, but you primarily use yourself. Kokuei uses it on his larger, special shurikens to do a giant feint throw to cause some damage.

Shadow Spear: His small blade has a straight blade, this attack uses his small blade. He makes an extension of the blade out of shadow, if he were to shoot it into a shadow right next to him, he can make the blade shoot out from another shadow within his eyesight.

Zip Blade: He can use this with either a ranged, or melee weapon. With ranged, it's basically a quick-throw, it's guaranteed to go straight and hit the bullseye, but if the target were to move, changing it's direction is impossible. With a melee weapon, he himself would zip in a direction, but not without attempting to strike his target. The melee strike often misses, but it's nearly instant kill. So he uses it as a finisher.

Shadow Rapier: This one is a much stronger Shadow Spear. While Shadow Spear utilizes the dagger, Shadow Rapier utilizes the Shuriken. This is a very strong technique in a small, dark room. A shuriken is thrown, and from the tips of it's blades are the same, shadowed blades from the Shadow Spear. Extending. If the blade were to wander into a shadow, Kokuei would instantly divert it to shot up, and since the thing is still moving, appear and slash at the target from the nearest shadow to them.

Shadow Cloak: He turns into shadow basically, but that's if he were staying still. If he was moving, he'd literally travel from shadow to shadow, as long as the shadow is within eyesight.

1,000 Shuriken, Shadow Magnet: Kokuei using all 10 of his Shuriken, creates another large heap of shuriken the moment he throws all ten at once. Once he does, the air will be filled with Shuriken. Not all of them are solid, but they still cast a shadow. They'll follow the target until it either dies, or the shurikens get destroyed. There are countless shuriken too.

Strengths: Dodging and striking quickly, and efficiently.
Weaknesses: If he were to be hit, recovering from the wounds is usually not easy

Backstory: A born elite, and the pride of his family. The ninja were now falling, their numbers dwindled, their skills rusted, but only a few remained with great skill. Kokuei was one of them, living by the way of the ninja and killing for a living. His job is assassin, but his profession is ninja. Some people know that he is a ninja, some don't, some don't care. Doesn't matter to him though, but he knows that the world is going through change. And he plans to survive this change.

Note that the world we are RPing in is completely fictional. All places and NPCs are completely up to you.

Society Standing: An elite assassin with a ninja backround.

Appearance: Long,scruffy, black hair, tied up in a French Twist. Pale skin and eyes that look black, but in the sun you can tell they are actually a very dark blue, and her teeth and nails are unusually sharp and long. She wears a black top; the sleeves go down to her elbows, and the neckline is deep. Under her top she wears steel netting that goes all the way to her wrist. Her bottoms are black also, and go down to the middle of her calves. She also wears steel netting under them that go down to her ankles. She has a red sword holder, that holds a sword as long as her. She wears sandals, but no socks.

Weapon(s): The Blade of Bloodshed (Kyouken)- The Blade of Bloodshed is a sword that has a dog demon sealed within. The dog demon killed over 1000 people, and the family had to kill over 100 to steal the sword (hence the name The Blade of Bloodshed). Because of the large amount of deaths, the family vowed never to use the sword, only to protect it.

Demon Rituals- There are multiple rituals Kyouken can preform that Shikimi learned from a book her brother gave her. Because she learned them from a book, she usually refers to the attack by what the name of the section she read it from was.

Combat Style: hand-to-hand combat, swordsmanship, and throwing. She a swift attacker and a strong defender.

Special Skills: Howl of Kyouken (Kyouken, Howl)-An attack of a large amount of condensed power, let out when The Blade of Bloodshed is slashed and commanded to do so. It normally makes a sound similar to a howl, so it is easy to dodge for those who have quick reflexes.

The Shadow of Kyouken (Kyouken's Shadow)- This can be preformed once blood from the opponent and the wielder are on the sword. When used, it attacks the opponent from the opposite side of where the wielder is using a "shadow" of the sword. It is almost always guaranteed to hit, but it leaves the wielder wide open for a few seconds.

Wolf Instincts-Because Sakimi's life force is linked to Kyouken, and Kyouken was a dog demon, she has slowly begun to (and continues to) take on characteristic of a dog. These characteristics include her appearance as well as smell, hearing, and reflexes. Her personality has slightly changed also.

Strengths: attacking, dodging, and defending.
Weaknesses: The demon inside of the sword has linked onto Sakimi's life force, becoming part of her. If any part of the sword were to break off, it would also harm her. If the sword were to link to someone else's life force, Sakimi would die instantly.

Backstory: When Sakimi was five her older brother had killed himself because he felt dishonored because he had failed a mission. As she grew older, this memory passed as if it had not happened, and she grew up normally. Since her brother had been killed, she was the successor to her family, and worked very hard to surpass everyone around her. On her 17th birthday her mother and father went on a quick mission. They failed, and made Sakimi kill them both. She was disgusted by the way people lived putting honor above their lives, so she abandoned that way of life and became an assassin.

Weapon(s): A large two-handed sword and about two small dagger/throwing knifes.

Combat Style: Aggressive close range swordsmanship and fighting from horseback. His defense if weak so he likes to be aggressive and end things quickly.

Special Skills: Some of these may be odd but you will understand when I get to the backstory...

1- Ultra sensetive hearing, smell, and touch: Its so basic for him that it can hardly be called a special skill. He can sense vibration through the ground and hear/smell things others would never notice. (theres a reason for this one too...you shall see!)

2- He has excelante swordsmanship skills and can throw his daggers with extreme precision.

3- Veiwing of the past: Taos is what is known as a seer. He has the ability to see peoples pasts and futures simply by touching them. Veiwing of the past is his power over seeing others past.

4- Veiwing of the future: Same as 3 only this is his power for seeing the future. Still his predicions dont have to come true. If the person is willing to try and change their future Taos can usualy help them. Sadly most people just dont listen to him.

5- Mental link: A skill he developed through being a seer. It is simply the ability to talk to other people and animals mentaly instead of actual words. He tends to not use this so much with people though unless its an emergancy because it tends to freak them out. Still it comes in handy when he rides.

Backstory: (This could be alitle strange but it will explain all of the prior weirdness )

Toas was born to a loving family. When he was three they discovered that he was completly blind and had been from birth. Also at three the religious wars began. Taos parents were tried as heretics and killed. Taos himself was sent away to be raised by a preacher and his wife. Taos grew up oblivious to what had happened and was surrounded by religion and hate from his new father who never accepted him and only kept him because his wife wanted a child and the two couldnt have one.Eventualy at age twelve His new father told him that he was adopted and abandoned Taos in another town on a trip. This began Taos's initial interest in fighting. Taos also learned to see his world through other senses and eventualy found a master and began to learn swordsmanship. It took alot of hard work and training but by age 15 he was an excelate swordsman. Taos decided he was going to join the crusandes but was turned-down to become a knight because since he was blind he couldnt ride a horse. Still this didnt deiter him. Taos began to try and learn to ride but found it impossible with a lack of sight. Afer having failed Taos began to look for some way of bringing honor to himself and found some in becoming a prison guard. One day though while doing his job he was addresses by an old gypsy woman being tried as a heretic. As he aproched the cell and placed his hand on one of the bars the woman grabbed his wrist and began laughing. Unable to get away he listened while the woman began to talk. "It is just as I thought you are the seer and you have more power than you think! Open your mind and listen to others.." The woman started another laughing fit and released him. Startled and surprised Taos began to look into what the woman had said. Through this Taos discovered his powers as a seer and began honing his skills. At 17 he had developed his abilitys enough to talk to animals through a sort of mental link. He bought a black horse named cobalt and together rode on to become knights. As partners they rode into the crusades and Taos became known as the 'Blind Knight of Death' because he could kill and fight in places were others were usless. Places to dark to see obviously didnt phase him. Places were sound echoed and confused others were his specialty. Taos rose to the top of the ranks during his time as a knight but what disturbed him most was the fact that whenever someone failed the would comit suicide. Death before dishonor. Taos found it to be dumbest thing he had ever heard, and when the day came that Taos himself was defeated he scoffed the idea and gave up being a knight. He chose life and became a mercinary. Now he travels horseback looking for places were his kind of work comes easy.

Well tell me if thats alittle to much ichijin...I had the idea and decided it would make a cool RP character. Still I have other ideas if this doesnt work.

Appearance: brown skin with long black hair just past his hips and peircing grey eyes. Is often wearing a heavy sweater with shorts and a t-shirt.

Weapon(s): A large axe and a smaller one for throwing at midrange and a bow with many arrows in a small quiver.

Combat Style: Hand to hand combat is his forte as well as long as ranged combat and midranged combat. An all around decent fighter.

Special Skills: Wrath Of Mother Earth- Offering blood to the spirit of the earth he is allowed to make the area around him of about 50 meters shakes violently, slowing the opponent.

Wrath Of Father Sky- Offering blood to the spirit of the sky he can make it rain and cause thunderclaps and have lightning strike the ground near his enemies.

Bloodwalking- This allows Jayson to take blood from his enemy to restore and heal his wounds. Although if the enemy has some type of infection in the blood he aqcuires it too.

Skinwalking- This allows Jayson to perform a ritual to absorb another layer of skin onto his own. Just like his Bloodwalking, it allows him to take on what ever infection the prior owner of the skin may have had.

Cleansing- A technique to purify blood, flesh, mind and soul. He often uses this prior to taking Bloodwalking and Skinwalking.

Strengths: Making peace with others. He hates fighting for no reason.
Weaknesses: Having people talk about his family. (Last remaining member with his wife, Marlina who have 1 child.)

Backstory: After his birth his mother passed away and he never heard from his dad. For many years he was nothing more then a street urchin. Stealing just to live another day until an old couple took him in while he tried to rob them on a cold december morning. Ever since that day he lived with them until they died in a house fire one night when he was 12. After that he dropped out of school and quickly reverted to his old ways. After he turned 16 he helped a girl from a man who was trying to hurt her. He quickly knifed the man several times and picked up the girl and ran. He brought her to a small house in a tiny forest outside of a small town. After 2 years of being together Jayson finally asked her to marry him and she said yes. 9 months later they had a child. Jayson is now a mercenary trying to keep his family afloat. He is of Native/Norwegian decent. He is a very quiet man who is deeply connected with the earth and its teachings. He is a spiritualist, a ritualist and a peaceful man. He is one of the few people left who believe that the world can be rebuilt and made better.

Weapon(s): A Sakabato (Reverse Blade Katana) and dual Kodachis(When in their scabbard, they appear to be part of a single sheathed sword, one blade appearing to be the hilt, while the second blade is stationed opposite the first and blends in with the scabbard itself, giving it the impression of being a nodachi.).

Combat Style: Shinji's mastery of the style allows him to possess superhuman speed and reflexes, study and predict his opponent's movements in battle, as well as perform many powerful sword techniques.

Special Skills:
~Shinsoku - God Speed, this allows Shinji to quickly overpower and dispatch opponents with his sword before they have time to react.

  Spoiler: Sakabato Moves 

Shinji Mainly uses these moves the most since his preferred weapon is the Sakabato.

~Shugeki Tōsei – Shinji kicks the back edge of his blade to increase the speed and force of the strike when he swings his Katana upward. The power of this sword attack is so powerful it can sever tree trunks with ease.
~Kaishi Tōsei - Shinji blocks his opponent's attack with the hilt of his Katana and spins around his enemy's defense on one foot, leaving him a complete opening in which to attack his opponent.
~Shōha Tōsei – Much like the Shūgeki Tōsei, Shinji uses his palm to push the Katana during a downward strike, increasing its speed and force.
~Chōten Tōsei - A follow-up to the Shōha Tōsei, where the Katana has been stabbed into the ground. Shinji steps on the pommel of his Katana and jumps into the air, and then retrieves his Katana by pulling on the cord attached at the hilt. This is followed by an upward whip-like slash at the overhead enemy.
~Gōtsui Tōsei – Using the Katana to stab his opponent, Shinji then proceeds to lift him in an arc over his head and slam him into the ground. To do this, the sword and the arm must have enough power to support the opponent's weight.
~Shikkū Tōsei – One of Shinji's most visually impressive techniques. First, Shinji jumps normally by holding the Katana at the perfect position. When he reaches his maximum height from the ground, Shinji uses the fact that his jump has exactly canceled gravity, giving him a split second to make a second jump. Thus, this makes him appear as if he is walking in the air.
~Senran Tōsei – An attack in which Shinji ducks in a manner like a tiger's crouch, and slashes upwards by spinning around. Initially, Shinji will start in a pose similar to Kofuku Zettōsei i.e ducking with left leg bend inward and the right leg extended outward but, by holding the extended Tachi at diagonal position he begins to spin, adding momentum to his attack. Afterward Shinji will rush towards his target with an attack similar to that of an unstoppable tornado.
~Kofuku Zettōsei – Shinji holds the Katana with the hilt facing down and the blade parallel to the back of his arm and ducks as in the Senran Tōsei. He then rises and brings up his tachi, slashing the opponent's chest.

  Spoiler: Kodachi Moves 

Shinji only uses these moves when he is deadly serious and is ready to kill his opponent, this hardly ever happens unless he is pushed to his limits(which rarely happens)

~Onmyō Kōsa: Shinji blocks an enemies striking weapon with one kodachi, then strikes it with the second kodachi, thrusting the first one through.
~Jissen Kenbu: Combo attack using "Ryūsui no Ugoki" to flow around the enemy, confusing them. Shinji will then strike from various points, slashing them with his kodachi, before deciding to end it with "Kaiten Kenbu".
~Kaiten Kenbu: It involves Shinji rapidly spinning around three times, while holding the kodachi backhand, to slash the opponent thrice in an instant. Shinji usually uses this attack after disorienting the opponent with Ryūsui no Ugoki.
~Kaiten Kenbu Rokuren: The attack involves Shinji gripping his kodachi backhand, then slashing the opponent six times in rapid succession, from both sides (it relies on confusing the opponent on the direction from which each subsequent strike is going to come). It's basically Kaiten Kenbu but done with two kodachi.
~Onmyō Hasshi: Shinji throws both kodachi at the opponent, hitting the end of the first one with the second one for an extra boost. The second kodachi is hidden directly behind the first. So the opponent would only see one kodachi heading for them in their line of sight.
~Gokō Jūji: Shinji crosses the two kodachi and moves them outwards in a scissor-like cut.
~Ryūsui no Ugoki: This is moving technique where Shinji moves around fast and silently. Confusing the opponent due to the fluid motion & continuously changing speed.

Strengths: Speed, Strength, Willpower
Weaknesses: Love, he will go to any length to protect his friends and Loved ones.

Backstory: Shinji was an orphan and was raised in an orphanage, he was treated badly and was beaten everyday. One day he escaped from the Orphanage and was picked up by a wandering Samurai, the Samurai taught Shinji all his Skills and Techniques. Soon enough the wandering Samurai passed away and Shinji joined the Japanese Government under the alias, Kenshin Kasamatsu and became an Assassin at the age of 12. For 4 years he went about killing his targets. Soon enough he got sick and tired of the war around him and he left the government at the age of 16 by faking his death. Nowadays he changed back to his real name and wanders the countries helping people and protecting people in need. All Japanese people knew his alias as the Demon Dog of the Government, and one of the strongest Samurai’s to live on the Earth.
