Time grew as the missionaries from the Holy Church began to show success. Some were doppelgangers, made by self interest and were made by greedy, and rich lords. Whom were eventually killed when they were seen, to have actually been taking fro the people. It was apparent, that a new age was arising, the appearance of westerners became more and more common, and diplomatic relations were slowly established. It was only a matter of time until westerners began colonizing on this country.

Marlina touched Taos and Shikimi's shoulders. She bent the few shadows around them. And they blinked from view re-emerging outside the hotel in a small alley way. Marlina quickly rushed into the hotel and through the stairs up to their room. The 200 year female kicked down the door and quickly dropped Jayson onto the bed. The skin on his body was still shifting around quite a bit. This meant he was still in some type of agony. Marlina was beginning to use another ritual. One that required no blood at all. She simply made a small fire and began to chant. As she chanted the skins on Jaysons body began to stop moving. It began to remain still. Which meant Jayson's mind was calming. She chanted for another minute or 2 and finally, Jayson's mind was normal. She plopped down on the floor. Only wondering what had happened.
