Mamoru looked up and took a deep breath as the enemy charged a wave of them was stopped instantly. They were butchered by the threads that were laying in the ground. At least 50 bodies. Mamoru didn't care if they were his allies or not. They were going to die nonetheless. Mamoru reached for his Kunai as the thread drew itself back. He began to dice into his enemies and waste them. None of them stood a chance.

He spoke into the mic. "NOW! NOW! SET OF THE TAGS!" The clones of Azumi and Mai both sparked one. And in a chain reaction all of them went off.

Mamoru was being over run by enemies as the thread finished with drawing. He could feel his body being punctured with kunais and shurikens. He was being punched, kicked and everything else.

The day that was never supposed to come was coming...Mamoru could feel the blood from his body. He could feel his strength leaving him as he fought as hard as he could.

Ayame saw mamoru get swamped with enemys. She had her hands full also but she handled it quickly as possible then jumped to mamorus aid. Using a sweeping motion she took down a large number of the enemys surrounding him with her sword. The rest were thrust back as he made an earth mound toss them. A few handsigns later and a bunch more were dropped into a sinkhole. "Mamoru get up!! You cant die here! People are counting on you!" she said as she continued to fight off some enemys.

ooc: blah me brain is currently dead so no ideas past that...blah.

Mamoru was laying on the ground. Ayame came to save him. He stood up. Bloody, beaten and bruised. But far far from out. He stood up. He looked around. His whole team was out numbered. But they were not giving up. Seeing this gave him renewed strength.

Mamoru stood up. The same flame that drove Raika to be as strong as he was now drove Mamoru. Now was his time to shine. To show the entire shinobi world what this 15 year old punk was made off. He formed a few seals. Some clones appeared. They big group of clones took the place of all of the shinobi that were around him. Including Ayame. The clone whispered for Ayame to stand back. The stitches on the back of the body of all the clones began to open up. A few of them were defeated. But not that big of a deal. Mamoru and the clones all formed a seal. A sea of threads made its appearance from the ground. It mowed through the enemy forces. Butchering them. Cutting them to peices and spreading blood every where. A large wave of enemies was diverted right on the spot. "TO THE VALLEY! WE MUST FEND THEM OFF THERE!" Mamoru shouted and leaped away.

Ayame stepped far back when the clone told her to. She was happy to see that mamoru was still had this much fight in him. It made her feel stronger. Mamoru had an entire sea of spread spread though the enemy dispatching many of them. Within a moment the daunting forces of the enemys had been reduced to about 400. They could win this battle if they kept it up. Ayame lept after mamoru fallowing him to the valley were they were to hold the enemy.

Once there ayame turned on a dime making a handful of clones. All of them armed with exploding tags and katanas. They tore through the enemys then when they were mixed in amongst them exploded with the tags. Ayame herself hand been surrounded but it wasnt to much of an issue. Surrounded and swamped were totaly different. She fought killing them and reciving minor injurys herself. Any of the enemy who caught her eyes were imidiatly taken under her control and told to commit suicide. Once that group was defeated ayame went to leap towards the next, but in the small amount of time she was open she was also attacked. Ayame cringed as she looked down and saw a sword blade peirced through her back and out her stomach. The man pulled the sword out leaving her bleeding and in tons of pain. Still ayame had fight left though and she quickly spun and chopped the mans head off. He was to careless in thinking he had defeated me.. she thought. Still the pain from her wound was almost unbarable. I could go on without the pain.. she thought as she decided to use her pain removal technique on herself. Using the technique she needed someone to put the pain into and grabbing the shoulder of a near by enemy gave it to him. He dropped in pain and ayame slit his neck. Ayame then jumped back into the fight. With no more pain her injury didt slow her down. Even though the blood loss was slowly taking its toll.

Raika and his group of clones along with the rest of his allies were knocking off enemy after enemy after enemy. Fatigue was taking its toll on everyone. Mamoru used the technique again. All of the clones opened stitches and let the threads flow wiping out a large number of enemies. The battle lasted for almost a full day.

The day became sunset...

Finally...The battle was over. As the last enemy shinobi fell. Mamoru plopped down. Taking heavy breaths. He looked around. Not an enemy in sight. He slowly stood up breathing heavily. Only 8 shinobi remained. That included him and Ayame. "We did it....WE DID IT!!" Mamoru shouted. But then it hit home. Of 40 shinobi that fought only 8 remained. They had devastating losses. They looked around. Bodies littered every inch of the once beautiful forest. Blood stained the purity of the trees. Body parts defiled the ground.

Mamoru looked around and shook his head. "Such...Foolish violence." He said. "Lets head home." He said outloud. Just enough for everyone to hear him. The other 6 nodded. They all began to walk slowly. They were exhausted. The battle lasted 14 hours. Most of them over used their chakra and needed to be carried. So in reality only 4 people were walking.

Mamoru looked. They could see the village gate. The group walked in and dropped all of the weakened people at their corresponding houses with Genin waiting at the door to help. The genin took the people into their homes as the Jounin and Chunin went to their own homes. Mamoru was exhausted. He had never used so much Chakra at any given point. He plopped down onto his make-shift bed and laid there. But he quickly got up. The cenotaph was already being built. A majority of it had been made thanks to the genin. Mamoru shook his head and went to his bed. He almost instantly fell asleep as he put his head on the floor.

The battle was finaly over and the blood loss had ayames head spinning. Still she was on her feet while others wernt. Helping one of them up she fallowed mamoru back to the village. Only eight men had survived and from what she could tell they were all in poor shape. The area around them had almost been completly trashed in the fight. When they passed the river it was full of dead bodys and blood. When they reached the village and everyone was in their homes ayame walked slowly back to mamorus. She walked in shut the door an simply colapsed onto the floor talking slowly and tiredly. "I still havent gotten my own house...Im gonna stay here for now...if ya dont mind..." In all honesty ayame just wanted to sleep. The bleeding had pretty much stopped on its own so rest was her main priority and the cool floor felt good against her hot tired body. "Ill sleep here I think..." she mumbled before passing out asleep.

OOC: Ah....Battles finally over...^^

Kale returned to the house after a quite boring day in the forest. On his way, he saw many deceased, bloody bodies.
Battles over.... he thought.
Once at the house, he opened the door only to see Ayame and Mamoru passed out, asleep. He stared at them for a moment then sighed. He didn't know where many things were in this house, but he managed to find some blankets and such. He spread them out to make a sort of cushion on the floor. He looked over at Ayame, before walking over to her and kneeling down. He slowly, and carefully, lifted her, and brought her to the more cushion area, then gently laid her down. He looked over at Mamoru next. He walked over to him, fixed him all up, then went back outside. He sat about 9 feet away from the door. Just sat there, eyes closed, and waited until morning would come.

The night became a dawn as the 3 sat in the 2 room house...

Mamoru woke up. He felt more comfortable and warmer. He woke up slowly and rubbed his eyes. He looked around. Only Ayame, Kale and himself. He yawned and got up. He didn't say anything. He got up and opened the window. Not a creak was heard. He leaned out and went out quietly. He came to the near completed cenotaph. Only a few hours and it would be finished. It was just after sun rise. The mountain that protected them was nearly destroyed. He looked at the cenotaph. In letters that were a bit bigger then normal he would put Raika's name. He would be known as a hero for as long as this village existed.

Mamoru felt nothing but guilt. He should've stayed with his brother rather then leaving him. Maybe then he wouldn't have committed suicide. He would have been around for the battle. He probably would have been able to save lives.

Mamoru sighed at the unfinished cenotaph. Wondering what the next day would bring. He would have to begin training again as fast as he could. Then maybe he would be able to promote a few of the Genin to chunin.

He sat against the cenotaph with his tired eyes. He looked around. A single elder came out of her house and walked down a few houses and knocked. She disappeared into the house. Probably playing Shogi or something....

Ayame woke up. She was sore and tired but she felt oddly comfy. "Im on a blanket..." she mumbled as she sat up rubbing her eyes. Kale was there and so was mamoru. She could hear people moving around outside. Apperently all of the evacuated people had returned. Feeling rather stiff ayame stood and streched alittle. She looked at kale. Mamoru had been asleep when she was so decided to thank kale for moving her onto the blankets. "Hey, kale..thanks for putting me on a cushion like that...I would be alot stiffer if you hadnt..." then she walked over next to mamoru and looked out the window with him. The cenotaph was almost done. She could tell mamoru was feeling slightly down though. "Cheer up." she said with a kind smile "Cenotaphs are supose to honor people who rightfuly died for their village and beleifs...All the names listed there all of those people would want us to continue on not to morn." the she though of something else. Mamoru might still be thinking of raika. "Also...im not sure but I think raika would be proud of the way you fought in the battle." she said before smiling at him again and adding "So if we are going to get this place back on its feet dont we have genin to start training again...I could help if you wanted me to."

After Ayame had woken up, she thanked Kale. Kale opened his eyes and turned his head to show he acknowledged her thank you. Since Ayame and Mamoru were up, Kale figured he'd get up as well, meaning he'd stand up, not wake up. He walked over to the window and stood beside Mamoru. He stared at the cenotaph; pictures of Raika flew through his mind. He remembered when Raika pushed him and Adrian aside and practically saved him, though he didn't need saving. Then he remembered how Raika had called him a friend. Then, he remembered being the body that caused him to be blind. He clenched his teeth and threw his head to the right, looking down, hoping the others were too focused on the cenotaph to notice his eyes almost watering.
He quickly closed his eyes and turned. He didn't say anything, but, he opened the door and left the house. Not really in a hurry, he just...Walked out.
Dammit....it doesn't seem to matter how many happy memories with Raika I have....That one....That one memory....It just...Floods the others out....Dammit!.... he thought, clenching his teeth harder as he walked to refrain from crying.
