OoC: I hope if its ok that I control Ayame a bit, Just to get us to the Hidden Storm village. =)

Mamoru had a single tear streaming down his face as he looked at Ayame. "No...No longer are you a burden. Raika had protected you. And so shall I. It is what my brother would have wanted." Mamoru said as he turned and lept up to a tree. He wobbled. His body was a bit exhausted. He took a deep breath. He then lept to another tree and landed well. He was heading to the Hidden Storm village. Home. Where a cenotaph would be made in Raikas honor.

Several hours passed...The night became morning. They were almost at the Hidden Storm. The 3 walked in...Well....2 walked into the village. There were 4 guards. 2 of them were asleep and one of them was wide awake drinking coffee while another yawned. Some villagers were already out. Several kids ran up to Mamoru. "Mamoru-Sama! What will you be teaching us today?" The girl of the small group asked. They were about 10. They were readying for becoming a shinobi. Mamoru gulped loudly. Trying to fight back tears. "There....No class today." He said with a weak smile. "Aww!" The kids said and ran off to play. It was only sun rise and the kids and a few villagers were already running about. Mamoru walked through the small but established village to his small home. He put Kale into his bed. "Ayame...We're going to have the villagers build a cenotaph. Do you know of Raikas life?" Mamoru asked as he got a wash cloth and put it on Kales head. It was a little wet.

Ayame had calmed down on the trip to the storm village. Being quite the whole way she had made peace with raika death in her head. When they reached the storm village some kids ran up asking about a class. Mamoru was obviously still upset and said they had no class. Ayame fallowed his silently to his house and entered after him. Mamoru took care of setting kale a place and then asked ayame about raika. "Well I know of his time spent with us, and very little of his past before that...I can probobly help you with a cenotaph." ayame may have made peace and decided she would move on but the wounds were still fresh in her mind. Her depression still sounded in her voice when she spoke but she had definentaly improved from the almost suicidal being she had been the day before. This wasnt the first time something like this had happened to her. Ayame had lost many friends this way and had even been stripped of a previous love in the ame manner once before. She would live through it...even thought a thought entered her head. Perhaps I just shouldnt love anyone...bad things always happen to the people I do fall for... she thought as she stood up from a chair she had found. Ayame needed to make herself feel useful. "Anything I could for you?" she asked still sounding depressed.

Mamoru replied and shook his head. "No, But thanks for the offer." Mamoru replied. Looking at the unconcious Kale. A knock was heard. It was the door. A tall man was at the door. "Mamoru-Sama, I heard you were quiet distressed." The man said. "Yeah. But don't worry about it Wataru." Wataru had spikey black hair with a mask-like thing on his face. It was a breathing apparatus. His lung had collapsed on a mission and used it to breathe. He had bright green eyes with very white skin. He was a very up-beat person. "Come on in." Mamoru said. The tall man came in. "Ah! And who is the glorious being?" He asked. His eyes implied he would be smiling. "Thats a travelling companion. A close friend to my deceased brother. Her name is...Ayame I believe." Mamoru said looking around. His house was completely empty except for a bed, a fridge and a small desk with flowers. Wataru saluted her. Wataru was also very....Ecstatic. He loved to meet new people and interact with others. "Nice to meet you Ayane-Chan!" He said excitedly. "Eh...She just got out of a very hard....Relationship." Mamoru explained. He took a step and whispered to Ayame. "Just tell him you were with Raika...Other wise he'll be all over you like flies on honey." Mamoru whispered quickly. "So...Wataru, Have you got anything to report?" Mamoru said as he pulled up the only chair. Offering it to Ayame.
"Sir! We believe the Hidden Rain village and Hidden Lightning village may be preparing to attack us!" Wataru explained. Mamoru nodded. "Ayame...Of the many things Raika said of you....He said your tactics are unmatched in all of the lands hes crossed. Do you have any plan?" Mamoru asked.

Ayame basicly did everything that mamoru told her to. The confusion and action suddenly caused by wataru had caught ayame off gaurd. She simply cleared her head. Raika would want her to help his brother.. She smiled and greeted wataru. "Ugh yes hi nice to meet you but mamoru is right...it was a hard relationship...raika was a very unique person." she stated quickly before taking the chair mamoru had offered her. Apon hearing the report and being asked about a plan ayame began thinking. She had gaps than needed filling before a plan could be made. After a moment she said "Ok well before a plan is made a I need to know what we have to work with. How many ninja do you have, is there anywere to hide civilians, and do you have a defense wall of somesort? Also do you have any medical ninja?" she asked. She needed to know before planning. "Raika my friends and I were actualy going to infultrate the lightning village before all of the madness occured. We had stumbled across a scouting party and figured they had some crazy idea like attacking someone. We were going to stop them...but its to late now. Guess we can make our stand here." she said. "By the way how many are coming from the rain village? I already have an idea from the lightning village..." she finished. Ayame was turning into a tactics machine again.

"We only have a dozen shinobi. Most of the people here are just looking for a place to live and raise kids. There should be more coming though. I heard there are many people wanting to become shinobi." Mamoru explained. Wataru handed him a paper. "Read this sir!" Wataru exclaimed. Mamoru read the paper. His eyes widened. "Well...T-this report says that one of our Jounin spotted at least 600 Hidden Lightning and Rain shinobi. The report also reads that our population over the last 2 days has almost tripled. We have apporximately 3 dozen shinobi to work with now." Mamoru explained. "And medically....We only have 3 medical-nin." Mamoru said. Some shouting was heard outside. Mamoru leaned out the window. "Speak of the devil..." He said to himself. The only 2 medical nin were sisters. Azumi and Mai Kurama. "Hey! You 2!" Mamoru shouted out. The 2 looked at him. Both had bright blonde hair and bright blue eyes with very peachy skin. "Yes Mamoru-Sama!" they exclaimed in Unison. They seemed very...Bubbly and upbeat. "Wataru-San!" They shrieked. Mamoru covered his ears. "Azumi-Chan! Mai-Chan!" They hugged. Mamoru shrugged. They broke apart. "Those 2...Are the only medical nin in this village. Aside from me." Mamoru explained. "Azumi and Mai Kurama-" Azumi started. "At your service!" Mai finished. "As you 3 and the rest of the Shinobi here know. We're going to be at war with the Hidden Rain and Hidden Lightning within the next half day or so. Tomorrow morning is when they're supposed to attack." Mamoru explained as he walked around the group of people. "We...we need to prepare a defense on the ridge outside of the village. Slow the movement of them down at least." Mamoru calculated. It was quite evident that Raika had gotten the brains between the 2 of them.
Mamoru looked at Ayame. "We can go to the proving grounds just outside if you like. I can round up all the shinobi." Mamoru suggested.

[Naomi]

"Right you get the other ninja together...Ill meet back with you in about fifteen minutes...Im going to get a good look around the entire village" she said before dashing off. After a quick round of the village ayame ran back up next to mamoru. "Well...if its three dozen verses 600 were going to have to set up a good defense...also I didnt see any good hiding spots for civilians...unless you have a hidden place we need to evacuate anyone who isnt a ninja." With that said ayame began planning. Her weakness was physical brawn, but she made up for it in brains.What she lacked in physical strength she also made up with with the fact that she had alot of chakra and precise control. "Alright since we are short handed were going to have to make use if the natural barriers." she said with a glint in her eyes "To the north you have mountains and the south a river...Our enemy is coming from the northeast. We need to lessen their numbers if we are going to win and we need to block them so that they only have one way in. I want your best earth users in the mountains hidden. Our main forces will be set along the eastern border of the city. As for the river ill handle it..but I want a few water users along it just in case. Yall have a pretty decent wall to the west...and if im right they wont be able to get to our western edge anyway...still I want one scout over there to watch the western side for invaders." now that the base of her defense was layed out ayame began to explain her plan. "Ive delt with the lightning village before they use a surround and conquer battle plan that prevents enemy escape. The hidden rain are probobly just in alliance for extra soilders...the lightning will be in charge. If we can prevent them from surrounding us then they can take us." she said continueing "We will act as thought we dont know this though and will let them think our northern mountain side is unprotected. When a large number of their forces are on the mountain tell your earth users to cause a giant rockslide. This will decimate alot of their numbers. Then the earth users will move in to protect that line. Their forces will be forced to come at us strait on in a small zone were they will be easily crushed by our line." she paused then smiled "As for the side with the river dont worry...Ill make my preperations tonight and tommarow morning before the attack simply send a few water useres over there." ayame was grinning with the excitment of battle gleaming in her eyes.

OoC: CONGRATULATIONS TO US!! =P 50 pages of awesomeness!

Mamoru didn't want to burst her bubble. "Uh...Ayame, There are only a few water and earth users here. And...Well your looking at them." He pointed to Wataru and the twins. "Both of them are earth. Me and Wataru are water." Mamoru explained. "A majority of this villages Jounin are wind, lightning and fire. And from the way things look we probably won't be able to use anything else except for the lightning to electrocute the river." Mamoru explained. "Alright...You heard her. Round up all the Ninja we can." Mamoru explained. The trio looked at the leader and nodded. They all zipped out the door. Several moments passed as the shinobi in the village gathered in the small square. All of them were speaking at once. Mamoru emerged from his house. "ALRIGHT! SILENCE!" Mamoru called out. Every single ninja there looked at him. Many genin, chunin and jounin looked at him. "RANK!" He shouted out. They all quickly scattered about. It was like he shouted the order for height. The younger children were genin and were in the front. The chunin were about teenagers and most of the jounin were people over 18. They all glared at him. "As you all know..." Mamoru called out. Wataru and The twins came to his side. "Were preparing for an invasion by the Hidden Rain and Lightning. We have a very young and bright tactician with us. Shes got quite a plan worked out. But for now, Bring all of the citizens to evacuation point A and F." Mamoru explained. Nobody moved. "That means you...Genin." Mamoru said quietly to the kids. They nodded and ran off and informed the people of what was happening. Many of the young genin began to spread out and offer help to those who needed it. A small girl ran upto her with a boy. "Inari reporting!" The small girl said. Mamoru looked down. "Yokara reporting!" The boy said. He looked at him. "Excellent! How is the evacuation going?" Mamoru asked. "Incredibly well Mamoru-Sama! Any and all people in the village have been brought to the southern mountain and the forest!" Inari said. "Excellent! Yokara, How is your team doing?" Mamoru asked with a smile. "Also well Mamoru-Sama! Our teams are moving swiftly and encountered a Hidden Lightning scout!" Yokara said. "A scout?" Mamoru asked. "Yes sir! We quickly disposed of him through combat! He never left our sights! The body is located 400 meters of south east of this position!" Yokara explained. Mamoru nodded and ushered the 2 kids back to their duties. "Chunin and Jounin! I urge you all to grab any and all equipment we can use for this war and to return here! This is not only for our village...But it is for our family who has fallen before us!" Mamoru shouted as he lept to a roof top. "THIS IS FOR THE HONOR OF OUR VILLAGE! THIS IS FOR OUR PEOPLE! LETS SHOW THE ENTIRE SHINOBI WORLD!! THE HIDDEN STORM IS NOT TO BE TAKEN LIGHTLY!!!" Mamoru shouted. All of the chunin and jounin roared and cheered. They all tore off and grab their equipment. Many of them hurried and grabbed everything they could that would aid the village. Mamoru lept down. "That was an amazing speech!" Wataru said happily. "Yes Mamoru-Sama! It was excellent!" The twins said. Mamoru smiled at them. "I hope Ayame can deal with all of this...." Mamoru thought.

ooc: wo-hoo! 50 pages!

Ayame had listened to the speech. Mamoru was an excellent speaker. Ayame had already begun re-thinking her plan. "A wonderful speech indeed.." she said racking her brain. Then an idea hit her. "Alright!" she said to mamoru looking at him then the twins. "Are yall strong enough earth users to set off and initial rock slide?" she asked "Cause if yall can thats what I want yall to do then fall back. The enemy is going to be forced to jump over and through the broken rocks and some will still be killed in the slide. We can set some wind users there to counter them...with the enemy having to jump in the air it would be easy enough. As for my other plan with the river its simple..Ill infuse the water with my chakra. Anything that trys to go over or through it will be caught up and drowned...anyone who makes it through will be soaked. We can place some lightning users in the area to dispose of anyone who makes it across. The rest of us will then take the front. When the twins fall back after making the rock slide they will continue with medical duties." Ayame took a breath then smiled "Based on what you said that should work right?" Ayame had thought everything out pretty thoroughly. And as for infusing the river with her chakra it would take her an hour or so but as said before ayame had alot of chakra and it wouldnt tax her to much. The affect would last also. And in combination with her tabugan she would be able to control the water and see what was happening there while still seeing what was happening around her. It wouldnt have been the first time she had infused something. He eye tecnique had enhanced her chakra control to that level. "If yall do your part I can promise I can do mine." she said with a slightly cocky smile. Ayame was proud and couldnt help it, she felt useful for the first time. I refuse to let this turn into a massacre like my village was... she thought.

Mamoru looked at Ayame. Raika was right. She was smart and beautiful. Mamoru looked. "We can do that....But I have a feeling this is going to be a long war..." Mamoru said. The genin had returned from their mission of bringing the people to the safe village. They were safe for now. "Inari and Yokara reporting!" The 2 kids said. "Ah! Excellent! I assume all was well?" Mamoru asked sprightly. "Yes Mamoru-Sama! Perfect!" They said in unison. "Excellent! Now, all of you head back to the village. Make sure everyone remains ok!" Mamoru ordered. The 2 nodded and ran off. The entire platoon of Chunin and Jounin returned. Mamoru looked at them all. They looked so anxious and ready to fight them off. He smiled and looked at them. "For now we rest...Tomorrow. WE SHOW THE WORLD WHAT WE'RE CAPABLE OF! WE SHOW THEM THAT OUR SHINOBI ARE NO JOKE!! WE WILL SHOW THE WORLD OUR STRENGTH!!!" Mamoru made another speech. From the ground this time. The entire platoon roared and cheered. Mamoru rose his hands into the air. None of them would sleep that night. Mamoru turned to Ayame. "Ayame...I have a very...Very Special gift...I grabbed it from Raika...Before I buried him." Mamoru said quietly. He reached into his pocket. It was Raikas Hidden Storm village protector. "If anything...At all happens to me here...Tomorrow morning...You will become the village leader here. There is no Kage here...They only listen to the most powerful shinobi. And I know...For a fact. That you are a stronger ninja then I will ever be." Mamoru said. Handing her the headband. Mamoru walked into his small hut. He sat at his desk and looked out the window. The sun was already setting. Had it already been a full day...Since Raika died? Mamoru would never ever get over that. He put his elbows on the desk and put his head on his hands looking out the window. Many Jounin and chunin were scrambling around. Including Wataru, Azumi and Mai. A single tear streamed down his face. Their victory tomorrow...Would be in Raika's name.

Ayame was shocked and surprised at what mamoru had done. Me leader?? what?? ayame was shocked to the piont she realy couldnt speak. She just simply half nodded subconciusly. Then when she could speak she simply said. "Fine but nothing better happen to you." she said to him as he walked into his hut. She sighed and tied the headband on. She was part of the storm village now and tommarow she would have to defend it. "I still need to go to the river..." she mumbled realising she had a bit of work to do and the sun was already setting. It would be night before she returned. Ayame took a deep breath then ran off toward the river.

Once there ayame kneeled at the edge of the water. Closing her eyes and concentrating she began a long series of hand signs. She sat like this sign after sign for about ten minutes. When she finaly opened her eyes they were the ice blue color they turned when she used her tabugan. She placed both hands in the water.Ayames whole body jolted and her eyes turned white except for the pupil. You could see the water begin to glow as he chakra mixed with it. After an hour or so everything finaly stopped. Ayames eyes turned back to their normal green color. She stood and streched yawning. Staying in that same position had made her stiff. She walked back to the village and to mamoru's. It was probobly about ten o'clock and everyone in the village seemed restless. She walked through the door. "Hey is everything going well?" she asked "I got my part done at the river." she said as she sat down in a chair and yawned again. Ayame was alittle tired but a nap would have her completly re-energized. Still ayame wouldnt sleep just yet. Antill all of the preperation had been made ayame would stay up to help anyway she could.
