When the man Raika was interrogating exploded a shield of darkness came up from Kale's shadow and blocked blood or any organ from hitting him. The shield evaporated when the blood spill was over. Kale listened to his friends words but never said anything back. After Ayame had spoken Raika grabbed the headbands from the deceased enemy ninja. He threw one at Ayame and one at Kale. Kale caught his in his right hand an looked at the metal plate. He watched Raika put his on. Kale was hesitant and did not move for a moment.
A headband....He wants me to put this on..... he thought looking back at the metal plate.

Raika turned to Kale looking at him for a moment. "Something wrong?" Raika asked as he looked up at the sky. Rubbing his neck. He looked back down to Kale who seemed hesitant. "You won't be wearing it long. Its just to get into the village, talk with the locals, leave some tags and get out. It won't be long. Trust me." Raika said re-assuring him. He put his hand on his shoulder and squeezed and smiled. "Your a tough kid." He said to Kale privately. He turned to his 2 allies. He had a serious look on his face. "I have a feeling. This plan may not go as well as we all planned. So...If ANYTHING happens to me and Im mortally wounded. Let me fight to the last breath. Let me go. And while Im doing that. You all will run? Understood?" Raika commanded. Raika had the feeling like he was a bit of a leader. Though this was very contradictory to what he liked or wanted. He turned to Ayame and did the same thing. "Your a strong gal. Gutsy, brave and smart. I like that about you." He patted her on the head. "Lead the way Ayame." Raika said as he hopped to the tree top to wait for his friends.

Kale nodded after Raika had said his words, as if to say thank you and ok about the whole being i the village thing. He tied the headband around his neck (Like Hinata has hers). It felt strange wearing it, but he knew it had to be done.
Alright Katsai....You're ready for anything right? he thought/said to Katsai.
Of course....Have you ever known me not to be?...Katsai answered back in Kale's head.
Kale didn't respond, but he closed his eyes for a moment, listening to Raika talk. Once he had finished, Kale opened his eyes, not objecting to anything he said; the icy blackness now gone.

Raika looked over the small forest ahead of them. Only about 2 miles. A light wind blew. His hair flew softly. He looked around and smiled. The sun high in the sky. The cloud formations were beautiful. The wild blue sky going on for as long as the eye could see. Raika loved sights like this. He always wished he could paint something like that. He ran his scratched his ribs. He could feel the bones. He had thinned out quite significantly. He had dropped at least 20 pounds in the last week or so. He looked unhealthy and even felt it. But he kept the smile for the sake of his 2 friends. He crouched down and smiled. Waiting for his friends. He looked at kale and smiled. He blinked slowly and then looked at Ayame. He looked at the 2 and sighed deeply. He was happy for them both. They were both tough, strong, and had hearts of gold. He was honored to even know them. He hopped to the next tree non-chalantly and spun around on it. "Its such a nice day." He thought to himself before enjoying the sight again.

"Alright ill take the lead." ayame said when raika asked her to. As they jumped along she noticed raika observing the veiw and smiling. The strange coloring of kales eye had disapeared and the trio seemed quite happy for the moment actualy. Still ayame was going over raikas words in her head, about how if something were to go wrong just run and let him fight it out. If only you knew...I could never leave you alone like that...she thought as she watched raika spin around a tree. It was actualy a funny sight since raika tended to act so serious all the time. Ayame smiled now almost forgetting what had happened earlier, instead she was slowly being reminded of another matter. The three hadnt eaten in a few days. Ayame was hungry and that became apearent when he stomach growled so loud she was sure the others had heard. Out of instinct she blushed alittle embarased. "Um guys..yea well maybe we should stop at this little town near here on the way to the lighnting village...I have some money stashed away so we could use that to buy the food...?" As ayame thought about this it reminded her of two things. For a moment she thought of the fact that she was a worthless cook...and cooking was supose to be a girls talent. But mostly it reminded her of kaito. He had been a great cook and she realy missed having him with the group. He was smart talented and funny. She sighed for a moment wondering what kaito was up to. But she pushed aside her thought when she started smelling smoke and looked up to see a small town. "Hey guys there it is!...so are we stopping or not?" she asked excited.

Kaito wakes up and walkes around the house, he remembered everything from yesterday, he had killed another Ninja to get into the Village Hidden in the Darkness, he was currently wearing their Headband, suddenly he passed a large weapon, "Zanbato, Executioner, Owners :Zabuza Momochi, Suigetsu Hozuki, Ahh no wonder he was strong, he is a sword master, well I do need a new sword anyway," Kaito said as he picked out Executioner, and withdrew his own Katana, the blade of the Katana was noched and damaged in many places, it had happened during the fight, "I am going to keep my old one as memento," Kaito said as he picked up the buckle with the Executioner, he wears it and straps Executioner over his coat, his old katana he keeps in its new position on his hip.

Raika looked to Ayame and Kale. He looked up at the small town ahead. Raika was very relaxed since yesterday for some reason. It felt like hundreds of pounds of weights had been lifted from his body. Raika turned to Ayame. "You can eat if you please." He said to Ayame. His voice was even calm and peaceful. Raika looked around slowly. He could feel himself changing alot inside. Knowing he was no longer the only Kujirame to walk the earth. He looked again to the sky so happily as they walked to the small village. It probably a shinobi village at all. It looked too small to have any shinobi. Raika smiled and sighed happily. He ran out in the small field a head of them and flipped through the air happily and rolled onto the ground. He felt so carefree and full of life. So calm and serene. So peaceful. Fulfilled almost. If only there was a special woman in his life there would be nothing in the world to wipe the smile from his face. He didn't care much though. He looked up at the sky grinning happily and laughed. He stood up and began to ran like a normal person. Not a shinobi dash. Just normal running. "COME ON YOU GUYS!! LETS GO!!" He shouted as he ran off.

"Ha ha ha...yea im gonna eat but you guys are eating to!!!" ayame yelled after raika as he went running off through a feild. He had changed so much since they all first met. Ayame couldnt help but smile as she ran ahead and caught up with raika, motioning for kale to hurry along. As they reached the edge of the town ayame saw a ramen shop. "Guys come on!!! That looks great!!" She said excited again. Ayame dashed over to the shop and walked in. Once she had sat down ayame ordered. "Three bowls of whatevers the best here! One for me and two for my friends!" When the food arived ayame thanked the man and paid. Then she turned to her friends and smiled one of the largest grins imaginable. "Lets eat." she said before taking a bite.

Raika smiled over at Ayame and pushed the bowl away. "Why don't you 2 eat? I want to go explore the village." Raika said with a big smile. "I'll be around. Its a pretty small village. You'll find me." He said with a huge grin. He walked out and hopped ontop of a few of the buildings. He glided almost effortlessly across the top of them. Raika had become so peaceful. He had changed so much. It was probably for the better. Raika found a tree and jumped to the the top. He stood straight up. A wind passed by. He smiled brightly. His eyes glistening in the setting sunlight. He took a deep breath as he looked down on some villagers. The place here was more of a retirement village. Many older people. Middle-aged couples with children and many elders. Raika's long hair blew in the wind. He scratched his chin and looked around the tiny village. He then looked at the sky. It was never, ever more beautiful to him then right now. The clouds were painted a majestic orange. The formations looked amazing. He wished he could fly and touch them. Mingle with the stars. Speak with the sun and moon. He slid down the side of the tree and stood at the bottom. He smiled and folded his hands into his pockets. He walked around slowly. Smiling at the people and waving at them.

OOC: Ok....Was it just me, or was something up with the site the past few days?.....I couldn't get on....It might a' just been my computer...but....

As Ayame took the lead Kale noticed how happy Raika seemed to be; it almost made him want to smile.
He seems so.....well...happy now....hm...a big change from before..... he thought.

While dashing through the trees Ayame's stomach had growled at one point. He noticed it slightly, having his mind on other things. She recommended we go eat something. Kale cept quiet as always allowing Raika to say yes or no. In all they ended deciding to get something to eat.

On the way to the town Raika started running in a sort of playful way. Ayame ran after him and motioned for Kale to hurry. Kale didn't really listen to the motion and just walked with his hands in his sweatshirt pocket. He was staring up at the sky while walking thinking about his friends.

Soon enough, the group was in the town, at the food place/shop. Ayame ordered for her, Raika, and himself. Kale was quite glad too; he still didn't really want to talk, his voice still didn't seem right to him, or didn't feel right would be the proper way of saying it.

When the food arrived Raika pushed his bowl away and said he wanted to explore the village. Kale watched him leave and made no attempt to make him stay.

Kale looked at his food afterword. In truth, he wasn't really hungry, though it had been at least 2 or 3 days since they'd eaten. He looked at his food for a moment more. You see, growing up Kale had to get his own food and fill his own needs, alone. So of course, he only had a few chances to eat. His body had become able to stand long periods of time without food and soon made it so he didn't really have to eat all the time; which helped on long missions. That's one of the reasons he's so scrawny...
Ayame bought this...For me....I....I should eat it.....Right?..... he thought picking up his chop sticks (I guess he'd use those right? ^^").
He brought his chop sticks down and lifted a piece of the meal. He brought it to his mouth and ate it. It tasted good and felt good going down his throat. He was hungry after all...His body just didn't let him know...
