Old music has better fighting no doubt, but shippuden is also good fighting music. However sadness wins in shippuden no doubt the sad music is real good and i love it. like the ones from sasori and asuma and such. i found out where to get every naruto song and shippuden, well not get but listen. some guy posted em all on youtube he also has bleach,

Got to go with shippudens music the originals is nothing compared to shippudens exept for fighting dreamers thats it....

Both of them have nice songs. The last two openings of Shipuuden are very nice and the first one of shipuuden.
The original also has nice songs. But i'll have to go with the original.

Based on the soundtracks i've heard, i'd have to say Shippuden wins. Although, my fave opening ever is Haruka Kanata (2nd opening of Original Naruto)
