Question .AVI Windows Media Player Problem!

I downloaded the Shippuden movie .torrents from the TailedFox downloads page yesterday. Then I used the BitTorrent client to download the files. Windows Media Player is the default player for files stored in BitTorrent, but I'm having trouble playing the movies. They only play the sounds, the video is replaced by the standard player background. It's like they're only audio files. I upgraded my codec pack so that it should play the .avi files, but still no dice. Is there anybody tech savvy enough that can give me a fix to this problem?

I ran into this issue while making AMV's. What I did was downloaded Format Factory. Thats a program that can take music, photo, or video files and convert them. Use that to turn you video to a WMV file. I would also suggest keeping it due to most torrents come in AVI format.

Do not convert the videos, I repeat DO NOT!
There is always a solution..

Just install another codec pack. That will deal with your problem...
KLite is a nice codec pack and supports lots of programs and codecs

Or go with other player, Eindows Media Player is a very buggy one...
VLC Player is very simple but POWERFUL...

Thumbs up thanks guys

Problem not solved, but i found a way around it. My good geek buddy told me to try the VLC player, he said it was 'awesome' and would play any media file. Sure enough, it played the .AVI movie files for me. I tested it on a few other media types and it works flawlessy. I'd advice any of yall to try the VLC player, it is the best i've used. Thanks for your feedback guys.
