Well hi everyone I have been coming to this site for a very long time watching the anime and reading the manga and checking info. This would be my first post too.
My question is about Kakashi. I know how he got his Sharingan from Obito, but I was wondering now that he has the Mangekyo Sharingan, will his eye sight deteriorate over time like Itachi's and Madera's. Considering he isn't an Uchiha and had it implanted by Rin and was previously Obito's does it meet the same standards that when Madera's eyes do when he took them from his brother, and he won't lose his eye sight eventually or will he lose it because he is not a Uchiha.
No it won't, it's already been stated that if you have someone else's Sharingan, your vision won't deteriorate, regardless of blood and such. Also about Kakashi's blood, well, his body isn't suited for continual use of the Sharingan like Itachi and Sasuke can, but that's all that's affected, nothing else. Kakashi just doesn't have as much endurance for the Sharingan as Uchihas do.
That hasn't been said yet, but from observation, I think that's correct.
Except for the part about the eyes and having someone else's, that's a proven fact.

its pretty much on the same principle as kakashi didnt have to kill anyone for his mangekenyo sharingan (sorry for spelling), but sasuke did, or almost kill for the matter, he kinda stole it, so based on that the rules obviously arent the same for him
True, but the only difference is the eye appearance and ability (I think due to Chakra types and whatnot)
But that isn't the question being asked, the question is, "will Kakashi's vision deterriorate?", no it won't, because he possesses someone else's Sharingan.
No the his vision will be perfectly clear..
Cuz if you take someone else's mangekyou it becomes EMS(eternal mangekyou sharingan)
Also there are a lot of different ways to obtain a mangekyou...
Killing your best friend(itachi did that), killing your brother(sasuke did that)seeing your friend die(kakashi's way) gaining through experience...
But back on topic...
The only side effect kakashi is going to feel is the major loss of chakra...making hem black out...

I can't agree more, Kakashi always cover his sharingan because his sharingan cannot be deactivate so. But Sasuke and itachi have the chose to activate when they want so.
I don't quite agree. I think Kakashi's eyes IS getting bad. I say this because of two reasons.
1. When Kakashi fought the doppelganger Itachi, he asked Itachi how far has his eyesite deteriorated, so he probably experienced this eyesite deterioration with his Mangekyou too.
2. Kakashi got his sharingan transplanted before the got the Mangekyou, I think for your eyesite to now go back, you need a transfer of Mangekyou sharingan, not just a normal one.
As long as you possess someone ELSE'S Sharingan, your eye sight won't deteriorate regardless, even if you transplanted it before gaining Mangekyou, all Mangekyou is, is a stronger version of Sharingan, nothing more.
I guess the answer was kinda obvious, I should pay attention more. Well hypothetically what if Kakashi did die (god willing he doesn't). Do would you think he would do what Obito did for him and pass his Sharingan on to someone else whether it be Naruto or anyone else. Or is that even possible to pass it on again.

If he does that, it would be awesome..
And naruto can handle the sharingan cuz of his massive amount of chakra...
But then he'll be over powered...
