Ok, I've had most of the day to look through this chapter, spent my time looking into various aspects and I'm come up with the following:

Sasuke/Taka
We all know they are on the hunt for the 8 tailed beast, as you can see they now all wear Akatsuki cloaks,however these are a different style of cloak which represents that they are not 100% loyal to Akatsuki at this point, the group also move as a 4 man cell, as opposed to the 2 man teams used by previous Akatsuki members The group are wasting no time in acheiving their goal and have shown some new abilities

The new abilities shown by both Suigetsu and Sasuke.

Suigetsu has confirmed that he can turn part of his body into water, this is similar to Madara's Space/time Jutsu.

Sasuke has also used a new eye technique from his Mangekyou Sharingan, evidence suggests this is NOT Tsukuyomi because Sasuke uses his RIGHT eye for this technique whereas Itachi used his LEFT eye for Tsukuyomi. It is possible that Sasuke has either one or two new Jutsus using Mangekyou, one in his left eye and one using both.

The Eight Tails
Not much is known yet but from his Tattoos we can establish:
Iron represents the swords.
Bull would describe his appearance, beast like.
He also seems very aggressive.


Sasuke's New ring

It can be seen that as part of membership to Akatsuki, Sasuke now wheres a ring, This ring did not belong to Itachi, Having researched it, this ring was the one formally worn by Deidara.

Worn on the right index finger: Seiryu, the Azure Dragon.

Juugo
Juugo states that he feels calm and able to control his urges at the village where Sasuke uses his eye technique. There may be hope for him yet, and the possiblity he may turn on Taka in a later battle for the greater good.


Naruto
Its been confirmed that Naruto will be studying Senjutsu/Sage Arts under Fukusaku, however he only as a week or two to do it, so its a case of mass shadow clones.

If all goes well Naruto should have more effective use of his chakra and better use of the toad summons, as well as a more varied Jutsu set.
This is most likley the powerup that will put him back on equal level to Sasuke.
He finally has some true motivation now, he seems more concerned with avenging Jiraiya than saving Sasuke, this in my opinion is a step forward, and we will have to see what comes out of it.

Naruto is no match for Pein, it was clearly stated, and even after the training it will be no easy task, but, Naruto WILL surpass Jiraiya in time.

Also the possibility of Pein being Nagato as Fukusaku was able to sense Nagato within Pein, and the Pein body knew alot of imformation about Nagato.

EDIT: I've been (harshly) beaten into admiting that the cloaks worn by team Taka are the same as the standard Akatsuki cloaks...

Pein is definitely Nagato. He's just not shown his true self yet IMO.

However, it's be a little stupid to think that Sasuke would have Tsukuyomi, since that'd require Itachi's eyes, and as we know, Sasuke did not exchange the eyes.

It's not stupid. Itachi transferred his eye techniques to Sasuke. We already saw him using Amaterasu. Maybe he can use Tsukuyomi too...

If Uchiha Madare can take out his brother eyes, then Pein can take out the eyes from Nagato right?
I wonder what Sasuke would do when they trying to extract the Nine-Tails from Naruto. I personaly think (and secretly also hope) that Sasuke will save Naruto. Would be nice, Naruto trying as hard as possible to save Sasuke and then vice versa ...

I did say that the eye technique wasn't Tsukuyomi do to the eye Sasuke uses, Each Mangekyou we have seen weilds different techniques so Sasuke probably as up to three brand new techniques.

The Amaterasu that Itachi planted was (as far as we know) a one shot to take out Madara, which failed.

As for the cloaks I am sure they are a different style, they almost look like Taka's previous cloaks had been dyed, We'll have to get into the Akatsuki wardrobe to settle that one

(and since when was Karin Akatsuki level? or do they let any fodder in now?)

Edit: All the previous Akatsuki's die shortly after taking of the cloaks so lets hope he keeps his cloths on. Its an Akatsuki tradition. They don't like getting the blood stains off.

It's true that Itachi implanted the Amaterasu, or just set a time thingy in it, but sasuke did get the mangekyou the traditional way, killing the person closest to you. Though it is taken literally. Orochimaru, being inside Sasuke and the one closest to him, died after Itachi basically killed him. I'm guessing Itachi figured it would have to be your closest friend since that usually is the person closest to you. Sasuke probably still has the Amaterasu. He just won't need it until he gets into a big serious fight, like with naruto. It would not require Itachi's eyes to have the tsukuyomi. And if you didn't realize this but Sasuke used the same genjutsu as he did on that guy as he did on on Manda, the giant snake, which was before he even fought Itachi. So I'm pretty sure it's not a new mangekyou technique. I do remember seeing that same eye from someplace else before, I just need to do a bit of researching.

The Jutsu that Sasuke used against Manda was a hypnosis jutsu, This new eye techique uses Mangekyou as Sasuke has one eye open and the sound effects in the manga are to show power coming from Sasuke's eye.

As for the Mangekyou depending on how you read it, it can be activated by the death of the person closest to you, In this case Sasuke was partially responsible for Itachi's death, which triggered Mangekyou Sharingan. It is also possible to obtain Mangekyou Sharingan a slower was as Kakashi did by 'copying the jutsu' or as Madara and his brother did, it is never stated that Madara and his brother killed their friends (they would be unpopular if they did) but they may have witnessed the deaths through war. It may also be possible to obtain Mangekyou by using the three tomoe sharingan enough.


We may see amaterasu again but each Mangekyou has a different technique. So I'm still putting my money on it being a one off.

@ Outcast: I completely doubt we'd see Amaterasu again, unless Itachi implanted a second usage in Sasuke or something. Compare Kakashi's Mangekyou technique to Itachi's. Kakashi's is a dimensional hole, and Itachi's is black flame, or Amaterasu. I think we'll see something completely new from Sasuke.

@ Rai shadow: We saw this eye on a flash back image of Madara, since they're both the same eye techniques. Still remains unnamed. Though I completely doubt the closest person was Orochimaru, since remember, he tried to kill him willingly, and without a single shred of remorse or reluctance.

@ Erosennin: Hmmm... You never know what Karin can do, she might be even better in one or another... Though it's apparent that Suigetsu and Juugo are about Sasuke's level. I'd say Jounin maybe... Since S Class criminals are usually a high level ANBU.

Well the technique Sasuke used on the man, was of course not Tsukuyomi, as I believe that each set of Sharingan, hold techniques unique to the user. Though you can use the same technique as the other guy if you take their eyes. Sasuke did not obtain Itachi's eyes, so I don't think he used Tsukuyomi.


EDIT: Definitely with the neckbands down... You get some cloaks like that and fold the neckbands, and you'll see
About the Akatsuki wardrobe, I'll just have to look into it again.

In my personal opinion, the sharingan saskue has now is the highest level of sharingan available. Why do i think this. Even though each persons mangekyou looks different (kakashi's, Madara's, Saskue and Itachi) when saskue first used ameratsu it had the shape of itachi's sharingan. when you look at Madara's you can see it is of alot more complex design then any other sharingan we have seen. When we witness saskue's new sharingan its a lot more complex then his original, itachi's and even kakashi's, and its an almost atom like shape.

Furthermore, we know that to obtain a stage 1 mangekyou you have to kill your closest friend who we originally thought was naruto. imo saskues closest friend was infact his brother. And finally we know that to obtain the final level mangekyou "one must kill their own brother".

In conclusion i believe that saskue has obtained the highest level of sharingan by killing his closest friend and brother in one go. there wouldnt have been as much emphasis on saskue at the end of his "truth" arc where the final page was him standing alone majority of focus on his head with new eyes. and thus from his new sharingan, he has a set of completley new techniques.
