Jiraiya vs Deidara: I want to start by saying if Sasuke can do it Jiraiya can do it better.
Jiraiya wins

Jiraiya vs Hidan: Hidan is a One Trick pony with slow and basic attacks. Once Jiraiya Catches on he has no chance. Jiraiya wins

Jiraiya vs Kisame: Kisame has the same Chakra level as any jinchuuriki an Over powered sword and A ton of Powerful Jutsu we have yet to see. Unless Jiraiya can win quickly he will be worn down by Kisame. Kisame wins

Jiraiya vs Kakuzu: Jiraiya would win. Im not really 100% on my reason, I just know he would win.

Jiraiya vs Konan: I have no Idea what she can do other then turn into paper. Paper burns easy so. Jiraiya wins

Jiraiya vs Orochimaru: Orochimaru Was never once taken seriously by Jiraiya. In a fight to the death Jiraiya would win. When they first fought Orochimaru had the upper hand because the writers needed to show he was tough at that moment in the story. Jiraiya wins

Jiraiya vs Sasori: Im not even going to dignify this one with a long answer: Jiraiya wins

Jiraiya vs Madara/Tobi: Madara wins. Easy.


Jiraiya vs Itachi: Itachi is easily one of the strongest ninja we have seen so far. If he is at 100% its pretty unlikely Jiraiya would be able to kill Itachi. Itachi ran from Jiraya showing that he is at least a little worried about his ability. Itachi Wins

Jiraiya. He has a chance if he uses C4 but I don't think he would against someone besides Itachi/Sasuke.

If both are at full strength, I'd say kind of a tie. Jiraiya's probably stronger, but Oro's summons and kinjutsu are stronger.

I'll just put a tie because we don't really know what he can do. It's been suggested that he's not very powerful, but he's also untouchable, it seems... *shrug*

I feel like people are underestimating Jiraiya. :\ That's just the kind of character he is I guess. :P

Jiraiya vs. Deidara: Jiraiya

Despite the fact that Jiraiya is obviously the more powerful of the two...He also has a much greater field of experience. Given that Deidara is clever, he is still no match. :\

Jiraiya vs. Hidan: Jiraiya

Hidan is just an idiot, his attacks won't be effective.

Jiraiya vs. Kisame: Jiraiya

  Spoiler: Manga 
Okay, so we've all seen Kisame's awesome new shark form and how he gets stronger with a stronger opponent, but it's too obvious what it's weakness is. -_- Jiraiya summons toads...toads use genjutsu...Kisame = fail.


Jiraiya vs. Kakuzu: Jiraiya

Both have great experience and ability, Kakuzu may be able to push him to where he needs to use sage mode, but I don't think he could win after that.

Jiraiya vs. Konan: Jiraiya

We've already seen this...kinda. Anyway, it's obvious who would win.

Jiraiya vs. Orochimaru: Jiraiya

Okay, so when we saw them fight, Jiraiya was poisoned and Orochimaru's arms weren't functional. Still Jiraiya would win in sage mode with Ma and Pa Toad.

Jiraiya vs. Sasori: Jiraiya

Sasori is experienced and clever, same as with Kakuzu, but in the end it's just not enough methinks. :\

Jiraiya vs. Madara/Tobi: Impossible to say, most likely Madara

Madara has shown no offensive abilities thus far, and plot leads me to believe that he doesn't have any. Regardless, he is untouchable, and I doubt Ma/Pa Toad/sage mode would be much help against him.

Jiraiya vs. Itachi: JIRAIYA!!

I've always said it, and I'll say again. Jiraiya is more powerful then Itachi. Itachi fled before him, with Kisame at his side, most likely not knowing the full extent of his power. Now, whether or not he was sick at that point, he certainly wasn't as sick as during his fight with Sasuke.

  Spoiler: Manga 
His genjutsu would have no effect because of Ma and Pa Toad, Amaterasu would most likely give Jiraiya a scare, but I'm confident he could find some way around it. The most difficult thing would be Susano'o/the weird artifacts that Itachi has, regardless, I think Jiraiya would come out on top, if only barely.


This can be argued many different ways, but for the most part I think people overestimate Itachi just as much as they underestimate Jiraiya. Meh...say what you will.
