Chidori's quicker, but havign uber h4x speed like Yondaime makes the Chidori meaningless and the Rasengan an extremely powerful move. In addition, Rasengan doesnt have a limit to its use depending on your chakra, while Chidori does, it's also a peircer move so it doesnt make a shockwave and is suited for clean kills.

Very nicely explained, yes rasengan FTW if it's done fast. Well, slow anything will lose you the battle...heh...

Chidori requires a free hit chance sort of thing, Rasengan can be combined in a melee combo/fight

rasengan!!because i think its easier to use and its fast in making unlike the chidori you have to put almost all of your chakra on your hand..which takes time!!

Actually I think rasengan takes a lot longer. Chakra is not an issue anymore at this time with Naruto or Sasuke.

but what you really need is a explosive attack a ranged attack not wide and thats why naruto created odama razengan.....

I prefer Rasengan, true it does take alot quicker, but it's slower and weaker, also there is no limit to its use. While Chidori on the other hand taks time, it's nearly instant kill and in addition, it's extremely quick and powerful.

Oh yes, there are limits to chidori too! versus rasengan that it doesn't seem to have one.
