i loved it but at episode 136 how can they end just itachi pressed sasuke's left eye?

Yeah I understand 135 having flashbacks but then when 136 was basically all flashbacks as well I was like ok my flash back intake became supersaturated.

The only thing I liked about this episode is that it completely supports my Izuna theory hence why Itachi never mentioning Izuna dying hah in your face ichii xD

I thought the flashbacks were a great build up. You gotta learn to appreciate the flashbacks.
And besides the flashbacks, I think expecially 136 was a great episode. Together with the background music it was really interesting and cool to watct.

Yeah this was pretty good. Itachi had some good voice acting this time. The flashbacks were a bit much, but I'm not complaining, gives some background for those that weren't paying attention. :P

I liked how they had Itachi "freak out", and if I remember right, it was the same way in the manga. The fighting...iunno...it was good, but it seems to lack something that the old fights had. (Orochimaru vs. Sarutobi for instance) I'm thinking part of this is the music. I see Sasuke and Itachi plunging massive amounts of shurikens at each other...and all I hear is them hitting each other in the air! D:

Best part about these episodes was the end...Sasuke screaming like that was badass.

i agree with some parts of this...i rather liked the fighting between them without the music personally, and where the hell did itachi get the speed to weave hand signs while shooting it out with sasuke as he put it? also the snake sheild thing to avoid the kunai....awsome seems he DID pick up a trick or 2 from orochimaru more than the summoning

He obsorbed Orochimaru so basicly its 2 vs 1......

Itachi has always been ridiculously fast at doing that, that is why Kakashi improved his skills in hand weaving in the beginning of shippuden.

There was very little new content, but what was new was good. They should have tried something new with the flashbacks, like adding sasuke's interior monologue to it. 135 felt like watching an old flashback episode.

Not complaining about falshbacks as knew they were coming, weren't really that bad tbh. Fighting was cool. Only disappointment is that this fight wont be as long as id hoped it would be, another two eps (137: Amaterasu, 138: Demise) it seems. After this there's still the possibilty of another six month filler arc...errrgghhh! But lets not be pessimistic.

I've been waiting for this fight for over a year, as I got into the naruto manga around this chapter (chap 383). Ever since then I've been savouring this day, its going well so far. From the manga I say this has been the fight to date, I hope the anime do justice to it.
