That's true, I agree with you on that.
My point, though, is that I'd rather be seeing, well, the stuff we would be seeing in the manga right now.

I do like the anime series more, and so it annoys me that it's so far behind. The manga series after this point has been extremely interesting, but I think it'll be even better once the tv series catches up.
The thing is, every time one event takes place in the series it seems that there are whole filler arcs before the next one. I'm okay with that when they are actually contributing to the plot in a good way(which I'm hoping it will), but that rarely happens... and even when it does I wish they would only do so when it's really necessary. At this point the series could have no filler for like 90 episodes and still not be caught up to the manga yet.
Actually, I take back that last line I said. I thought the events in the manga at this point seemed to happen kind of abruptly anyway, like there should've been a bit more between the Hidan-Kakuzu arc and the next arc. However, I'd rather have the events sort of lead into the next arc. Does that make sense? I just don't want filler that makes me feel like I'm wasting my time, and that has nothing to do with anything (case in point, that last filler arc in Bleach). It'd be rather irritating to have filler like that in a series that's already known for having the story progress slowly, maybe enough to put off viewers.
