Lately I've been watching the plots of the manga and anime unfold and as I'm watching fights and flashbacks I got to thinking to myself who the biggest and baddest villian in all of Naruto is. To me, it all comes down to 5 people. But I couldn't choose just one. Tell me what your thoughts are on this.

Pein ended up being a good guy who brought everyone back to life with the power of teh dragon balls so he's no villain in my book.

Madara, hell I dunno about him, he just seems like an emo who wants to make the world perfect for him. Lame.

sasugay is just lame, Im not even going to start on that.

Itachi is kinda cool, till he told his true intentions. Last time I checked, that classified him as an anti-hero.

Now Orochimaru has the quailty of a villain. First off, he invaded a village to seduce a pre-teen boy. That alone proves he's either gay or bisexual, a feature that has proven worthy of a truly evil character. Not only that he alone took out the Hokage(3), Kezikaga, Don't remember the number, and then damaged konoha. He then convinced the last Uchiha in the village to join him. That's like stealing a pirates gold! Then he shows us that he couldn't care less about Sasugay, but really just wants his body. Amazingly evil and sinister. He's gay, self-centered, powerfull as hell, and creepy. What more could you ask in a villain?

sasuke's out. itachi's out. pain's out. i would have to say madara then, i mean, he controlled another country once. all orochimaru took over was little kids and fail ninja...madara is pure ownage, sexiest bad guy of all time.

If Pain hadn't ressurected everyone he killed in Konoha, I'd choose him. But his list grows short if you exclude them, and the fact that he defeated Hanzo can't be seen as that bad of a killing, since it was during the war.

Orochimaru has always been the one with the most evil plans and sadistic methods (like using the first and second hokage to battle the third)

But to wish to enslave the enitre world in an eternal genjutsu must be the worst thing ever, so in terms of futere plans, I'd say Madara.

Honestly, I think that the sticky: Best Bad Guy covers this so it's a double thread, but I'll not nitpick here.

Honestly, Orochimaru. He wants to take over the world, yah, by learning every jutsu he's the 'ultimate being' and control or destroy whatever he wishes, he basically wants to become God. And he's willing to do anything to take him there . . . at any risk to others, and moderate to himself. Look how he teased naruto, anyway, basically for fun.

Sasuke I wouldn't consider a villain. He isn't 'evil', just very misguided. Itachi doesn't really count either, considering all his actions were for the good of Sasuke and Konoha. So that leaves us with...

Madara, while he has the most amazing plan ever, doesn't seem to have any ability further than imitating ghosts.

So, it really has to be Nagato. While his final act was for good, I still believe he was a villain. And not only was he powerful, and his plan was quite epic too, but his background makes him so much more interesting. Plus, I always like delusionals who see themselves as God.

EDIT: How did I forget Orochimaru!? Yeah, he's quite evil, but I lost a lot of respect for him after Sasuke managed to beat him.

as a whole, I'd agree that oro made the best villain, Itachi was pretty good, his intro with kisame was one of the best parts of the series
