I am really curious about how he got it and there are alot of predictions and theories.I personaly think this is how he got it, Itachi says that you have to kill your best friend right, but Kakashi's best friend was Obito and as you should know he died, so I think kakashi had a flashback in his mind witnessing obitos death and that triggered it, because I dont think you have to kill your best friend but you just have to witness thier death that makes more sense in how kakashi got his

P.S some people say kakashi copied itachis MS, the sharingan cant copy kekkei genkei

ur theory is correct, everyone he ever loved is dead...as he said in the ep he was introduced. He just never saw the situation he was in dire enough to use it before his was introduced.

Since the Sharingan wasn't Kakashi's, he won't experience blindness nor any limits except for the chakra usage.

Meaning he could easily train it to achieve Mangekyo.

how do you know that he isn't going blind?
When he saw itachi he KNEW Itachi was going blind, so by things we saw in manga he probably is going blind, his sharingan is only normal ms. He can't have sharingan because you need kekkei genkai sharingan in order to get ems-->

I know this is kinda off topic but is madara's brother called Izuna because I see it all the time but I dont where they got this from, also with the the 3rd hokage some people say he's first name is hiruzen....nnever heard these names before.The only other reason I can this of is the data books written by misashi.

Actually, both reasons are plausible as it is never shown in the manga or anime its just said that he begins to use it after the time skip

i dont see how kakashi could actually train to get a mangekyou....nor anyone else with a transplant....because the requirement to get a mangekyou is for you to experience something traumatic...the death of a friend is traumatic, but i dont think it neccessarily means you have to kill your friend, unless you want to obtain the mangekyou immediately...like itachi
