to kill a meber of Team 7 (Naruto, Sasuke, Sakura)? I just thought of this when my friend and I were watching the Sarutobi/Orochimaru fight from part one today. Kakashi and Sandaime, to me, have always seemed similar, and a long time ago, even though Sarutobi knew Orochimaru was evil, he couldn't bring himself to kill his student. So, I just wondered, if Kakashi were ever in a position to kill one of his students, do you think he could go through with it, or chicken out like the Sarutobi did? I know this is random, but it's just something I thought of, so I just thought i'd post it. This is not a verses debate. So, please don't get off topic and start discussing wether, or not, Kakashi could actually beat them in battle.

Doubt it though.. Kakashi lives by the whole 'those who break the rules are trash, but those that betray they're friends are even worse trash.' So IMO even if he had to do it, I don't think Kakashi would..

Yeah, I think the same; I don't think he could do that. And, if we're talking about team 7... well, team 7 is like in the past right? Now is team Kakashi and Sai is in it... but, I don't think he could kill one of his team...

Yeh he does say that in one of the episodes (don't know which one though). I recon he would follow through with it if it was his mission.

can kill his whole clan because it was his mission then I recon Kakashi would follow orders.

Also he has been a ninja for so long (Jounin level) that he would have had to do things similar to killing an x student. I don't know, but I recon he's too much of a ninja to not follow orders.

I think it would take an extraordinary set of circumstances for Kakashi to do it, but I definitely think it's possible. I think if it played out where Sasuke was looking to kill everyone in Konoha and Kakashi had to choose between killing Sasuke to save Naruto (as well as the rest of the village) or letting Naruto get killed, I could see Kakashi doing it, but still....it's not really in Kakashi's character to kill off a friend even in the worst situations.

But if you force a person into choosing between 2 peoples lives, I definitely think anything is possible.

Kakashi, I could not agree more. I suppose it would be hard for him to kill Sasuke, but I don't think he would do what Sarutobi did. I do think it would be harder than some people think. It's not just about them being in a team together. I think Kakashi feels that he can really relate to Sasuke, and that he reminds him of himself.

Of course he feels something special for Sasuke. When Sasuke was on the team, Kakashi cared more for him than he ever did Naruto & Sakura. This thread is turing out different than the other thread (on another site) like this that I started. On the other thread, mojority said he would do it in an instant, but be depressed aftwards.

Eh, relating more to someone and caring more for them are completely different things. Do parents care more for one child than another? Kakashi isn't like that.
