Kasumi had finished her training and proceeded to walk back to her room to change into her regular clothes before her next class. She quickly go dressed and grabbed a handful of cookies to eat on her way to class. Closing her door she started to walk to her next class alone...as usual. Snacking on some cookies the PA system suddenly sounded and made her jump.

"To ALL the students of this prestigious academy, Headmaster Cross is holding an assembly in the Big Hall at 8.45pm. Please make your way to the premises within the next 20 minutes. Your class speaker will tick you off of your classes names list by the entrance, if you for however reason may not be there, disciplinary actions WILL be taken. Thank you."

"An assembly? At this time?? I wonder what its for?" Kasumi said out loud to herself with a mouthful of cookies. Tilting her head and looking slightly puzzled, she spun around and started to walk towards the assembly hall..

Exactly at 8.45pm that afternoon Cross took the stage. The hall was big and easily fit the 660 Students who were attending as well as all of the administration and teachers. Walking up to the microphone which was place on a stand in the middle of the stage, he pushed his glassed back up, before taking a deep breath...

"My dear students, fellow teachers and worker. What I am about to say, tell you all might be shocking to some or even intriguing to a few but I wish for absolute obedience on this matter. No one, I repeat, NO ONE is allowed to walk the halls in both the main buildings as well as the dorms, alone. At all times I wish for at least two people to stick together until the matter at hand is cleared."

Taking a short breather, he continued...

"This also affects the night class, I know you are far superior in the physical category to the day class students but I do not wish for you to walk around alone at night... I do not know for how long these rules will stand but it is to your best interest."

Cross' facial expression changed from his rather warm and friendly nature to a more serious and stern. Taking out a note from a side pocket of his robe, he unfolded it, reading out what he had prepared.

"Anyone, who has seen anything suspicious, by the back wall of our main building yesterday evening from around 7.00pm to this afternoon 5pm needs to see me immediately. This is urgent, any suspicious acting person seen will be questioned."

Tucking away the note, his face changed back to normal, kind and gentle. He never liked this sort of thing but he didnt have a choice either way.

"You may leave the hall now in an orderly fashion." with that he stepped down from the podium and off the stage.

Loud chatter started, things were left unexplained, left in the dark...

Looking around her, Kasumi seen she wasn't the only one that still had some questions. Master Cross was obviously not going to address them now but it would have been nice if he'd given them all a little more info.

Seeing as though nothing would be done about it now, Kasumi got up and started to walk to her next class. She was alone again and no one had really offered to walk with her, so she set off on her own. Since assembly had just finished and there were other heading to her class, she followed behind them so she was somewhat part of the group. When they arrived at their class and the other students realised how close she was she just smiled warmly and sat down at her desk.

"Tch...i hope one day they see im not bad all the time, perhaps i take my training a little too serious. Kasumi thought to herself. Class was well on the way but she just couldn't seem to concentrate. Her head was filled with thoughts of the assembly "What on earth could possibly be so bad that Master Cross has also warned the Night Class to stay in pairs? Surely they could handle themselves? Can't they??"......

[Strawberry]

Siberia tilted her head to the side, curious on what Headmaster Cross had to say. She had taken residence at the back, away from most of her fellow classmates. Being anti-social, and a vampire, really takes away a bunch of options for "friends".

It also affects the night class? Please, I'm pretty sure we can handle ourselves. Its the humans who need help. Siberia rolls her eyes and crosses her arms over her chest, as she lets out a hushed laugh.
Maybe us night class students should be their personal body gaurds...That would be a laugh riot.

"You may leave the hall now in an orderly fashion."

"Well well well...It seems things have gotten a little more interesting around here," Siberia says, earning a few looks from the night class students around her. She shrugs and turns away, being one of the first out of the door.

I don't need a buddy to accompany me when I walk. Unless they ask to walk me back, there is no way in hell I'm obeying the rules.

Kaname:

An eyebrow slightly raised, he got out of his seat, followed by the rest of the group they exited the hall.

'Cross was being very cautious, he didn't even give us a reason of why to obey his orders... Seems like this is something bigger than the usual.'

A little aggravated about being left in the dark, he didn't let it show, but decided to see cross again later that evening, alone.
But he wasn't going to sit around and do nothing up until then...

"Aidou... I think we need to investigate this matter by ourselves..." his voice somewhat concerned. With that, he walked off from the group, into the darkness of the night followed by Aidou.

"We're going to see Cross, I out of all can not sit around and wait for things to go wrong." he wasn't joking, things like that he'd take as an insult.

After a little march through the garden they stood in front of the quarters of the teachers and administration.

Ringing the bell a female answered the door.

"We are here to speak with Cross-Sama"

After the lady looked up... "Oh it is you Kaname-san, please come in and wait in the reception, he'll be with you in a minute."

Upon entering the two of the waited on Cross in the reception hall, when he arrived Cross had a faint smile on is lips.

"I thought I'd get a visit from you today, Kaname-kun." he grinned than he sat down on an armchair mustering the two.

"I take it you wanna know what happened, for me to take such actions? Do you"

~silence, than Kaname nodded...

-The part where Cross explains what happened earlier-
"so this is why your taking such measures? Don't you think it's a little overreacted?" scoffed Kaname.

"No I do not think it's unreasonable." Cross stood up, "And further more I was going to ask you for a favour either way... The Ball in honor of Sir Ouran is going to be held this weekend, and I want you and your troupe to help the students who are preparing it."

Kaname looked a little annoyed and people could tell he was, his voice was more stern than usual, "I don't see what it has to do with us, the nightclass of the Cross academy!" he glared at Cross...than got composed again.

"See this is not only the Cross academy anymore, we are one, Ouran and Cross, so please do as I say and lend your help to the Ouran Host Club, ne." he grinned again, he knew Kaname wouldn't like it but he insisted upon it until he gave up.

"Fine we'll help them, but also... regarding that matter, I am going to investigate it myself."

He didn't even let Cross have a chance to argue with him, because he had walked out of the building...


IN Adeleine:

This was very odd, yes it was but more over she wasn't comfortable with having to rely on someone else at all times.

The group from before had hastily left and Kaname looked like he walked off by himself somewhere else.

Looking around to find someone to walk with she noticed this other Vampire girl, she was walking by herself...

Running first, than walking up behind her she muttered...

"Anoo... um would you mind if I would walk with you?" she smiled at her.

"Ah how rude, I am Adeleine, Duchess of the Hellsing clan, nice to meet you" briefly smiled again than her eyes wandered up to the night sky... 'sigh I do wonder though, what the problem is... Cross seemed very tense.'

IN Tamaki:

He had been a little bored though of the announcement until Cross mentioned the part of having to walk around in pairs...

'Ah...perfect chance!'

Smiling he grabbed Haruhi's hand and helped her up. Throwing an arm around her ...

"Soo nee! We're buddies of course we are going to walk together...everywhere"

The everywhere had a little bit of a dark giggle to it, something maybe unsettling to a girl, but that expression flew away quite quick when Haruhi punched him in the side.

"You don't have to be so grabby when we have to walk together!" she replied.

Sighing, they exited the Hall, with the rest of the host club.

"Mommy! How is the data on the 'others' coming?"

"It's nearly done, plus Cross has instructed me to go on with the preparations for the ceremonial ball in honor of the Late Sir Ouran who founded the school."

"Well done Kyouya, we shall make this ball a memorable event!"

Enter Zero~

Zero sat there quietly taking in what Cross was saying, though only really half paying attention to it. The Night Class isn't going to like the rules he's layed down, especially Kaname...But I guess that doesn't apply to me. Zero wasn't exactly friendly with anyone, but he knew Cross wouldn't accept that as an excuse for wondering on his own.

After the announcement, he silently got up and slunk out of the hall before Cross could see that he was on his own.

The smell of blood was getting to him; he really shouldn't have come this way to get to his dorm. He reached into his pocket to scrounge what little blood tablets he had on him and hurriedly gulped them down. Thank god...Now I need to get back to my room...No, wait. I need to get back to him...

His door crashed against the wall as he stumbled in, eyes glinting a bloody red. 'Ichi...rou...' He gasped, barely managing to lock the door beofre crawling over to the figure sitting on his bed.


Kamika & Aidou~

Kamika listened in fascination at what Cross was saying about travelling in pairs. She glanced at Aidou, who smirked flirtatiously at her, tracing his tongue over his bared fangs. She giggled, then settled down and continued to listen.

Once Cross had finished, Aidou glanced at Kaname, who appeared to be irked by what Cross had said.

"Aidou... I think we need to investigate this matter by ourselves..." his voice somewhat concerned.

Aidou sighed quietly, why was it always him? 'Hai Kanaame-senpai, lead the way.'

With that, he walked off from the group, into the darkness of the night followed by Aidou. "We're going to see Cross, I out of all cannot sit around and wait for things to go wrong." he wasn't joking, things like that he'd take as an insult.

'I thought as much Kaname-sama. I had a feeling you would have issues with what Cross proposed.' Aidou brushed his fringe from his eyes and planted his hands fimly in his pockets as they continued to walk though the garden.

When they arrived, they were invited to sit down, but the air remained fairly tense.

-The part where Cross explains what happened earlier-

Aidou was shocked at the precautions Cross had taken, but he appeared to have taken it better than Kaname. He listened intently as Kaname and Cross had their little spat about what happened earlier, then cringed as Cross brought up the Ouran Host Club. Aidou thought their club was cute, he didn't have anything against it, but he knew Kaname felt that the Cross-Ouran academy would always be the Cross academy and nothing more.

"Fine we'll help them, but also... regarding that matter, I am going to investigate it myself."

He didn't even let Cross have a chance to argue with him, because he had walked out of the building...

Aidou was suprised he'd agreed to help them, but as he had, he knew the other Night Class members would be roped into helping too. 'I shall aid the club too Headmaster Cross.' Aidou bowed before he ran to catch up with Kaname.

'Do you need my help 'investigating' this matter Kaname-sama?' Aidou asked, pretty much knowing the answer.

Kamika's part~

She sighed upon seeing Aidou leave with Kaname. Why did he always have to follow after Kaname like a dog? Briefly imagining a rather hot image, she shook it quickly from her head as something, or more appropriately, someone else had caught her attention.

"Anoo... um would you mind if I would walk with you?" she smiled at her.

'Sure I guess so, might as well obey Cross...' She smiled as sweetly as she could manage without making herself feel sick.

"Ah how rude, I am Adeleine, Duchess of the Hellsing clan, nice to meet you" she briefly smiled again than her eyes wandered up to the night sky...

'Kamika, Lady of the Tuzukai clan, nice to meet you too.' Kamika started walking, hoping the girl had followed her, as she appeared to be off in her own little world, gazing up at the night sky.

Twins~

The announcement had been dull, until the part about pairs was mentioned. 'Kaoru...You'll be my parnter, won't you?' Hikaru swooned in his usual manner.
'Hikaru...How could you think otherwise?' Kaoru stroked his twin's face gently, prompting a few looks from the fangirls of the Ouran Host Club. They glanced at an overjoyed Tamaki, who appeared to be yanking Haruhi with him against her will.

They exited the hall as one group, and Tamaki was conversing with 'Mommy' Kyouya about the ball. Indeed the ball would be spectactular.

'Tamaki-saaaan, what are you proposing for the Host club's theme?' They asked simultaneously, both hoping it would be something grand...Perhaps a Renissance theme.

Lost in her own thoughts Kasumi barely noticed that her class had finished. She got up, packed her bag and proceeded to leave the class. She looked around for someone to walk with but couldn't see anyone. "*sigh* Oh well i guess i'll have to walk on my own" She sighed outloud to herself and set off down the hall.

As she walked her mind was still racing with what could possibly be wrong with Master Cross and why he had set all these rules. Not paying attention to where she was walking she bumped into some students "Oh...im terrible sorry, please excuse me, i wasn't watching where i was going" Kasumi blushed as she apologised and set off again down the hall.

"Hm..all this pondering is giving me a headache, and i feel like some sweets. I wonder where i could get some chocolate eclairs?" Kasumi again talking to herself outloud as she kept walking in no particular direction..

Elle looked around for her friends after hearing this. She didn't want to make Mori and Honey walk her all the way to the girl dorms, but it was looking like she had to.

"Uh... Mori-senpai?" She asked quietly. He brought his attention to her, knowing what she was about to ask. "If you and Honey-senpai don't mind, could you maybe walk me to the dorm? I don't want to impose but I can't find my friends in the crowd..."

Mor nodded.

"We can do that."

He was glad that this time he was the one to keep her safe if anything were to happen. He didn't want to know what it would be like if anyone else walked with her. The night class made him wary, but what was more worrisome to Mori was that Cross was giving them the same rules as all the regular people. Something is really wrong.

Ichiru:

Sitting on his bed, he had been there in his room, unable to sleep... he couldn't rest, for some reason his heart just didn't wanna settle down. It kept him awake, like something was about to happen...

The door opening slowly, he sat there a little perplex... not recognizing the figure until a little bit of the faint moonlight shined upon the intruders face.

"Zero..." he said in a hushed whisper, not believing it was him, why would he out of all be here in his room? he thought.

Adeleine:


"Nice to meet you Kamika!" she smiled...

Than noticing she didn't have classes until later...

"Do you have anything particular you want to do right now?"

"Zero..." he said in a hushed whisper, not believing it was him, why would he out of all be here in his room? he thought.

'Ichi...ru...' Zero gasped, feeling his eyes redden and his fangs poke out from his normally soft lips. 'I..need...' he clutched his face and let out a pained screech and began to writhe around on the floor. 'C-come to m-me...I-ichiru...' Zero breathed quietly, his body spasming due to his dire need for the other's bloody taste.
