My idea is a tweak to Silvos' idea, so it's still originally his idea

I do agree though that we could all do different characters and not just naruto...It would be fun.

But either way it doesnt realy matter to me....I still like the idea either way.

Well we meant Naruto the anime... not the character, one of the problems of naming the anime after the character...

Anyways, I myself cannot draw another character besides my own, so I improvised by mentioning to draw from another anime/manga, or drawing a character purely your own.

In order to advace your drawings and to improve your way of drawing you should try to draw beyond your own characters, I myself started with drawing the DBZ anime and the Pokemon characters (the persons not the Pokemons) those are the easy anime, and if u get those right its easier to draw diffrent people. Furthermore the idea for this drawing is so that it should be only people from the Naruto Anime. Else it would look to weird in the end....

Anyways, there's another drawing contest going on on the Tailed Fox Forums, and the theme is Summer! All go check this out!!! (I forgot how to post links..... It's under contest threads.)

Silvos has a very good point but like I said it doesnt realy matter to me...but if we decide to do it with strictly naruto characters would we be drawing them as the original characters or as the shippuden characters???

Also perhaps, as a compromise, we could do another group drawing in which we draw ourselves as anime characters....this would satisfy those who want to draw there own characters and those who like silvos idea. We can do both this way. It also demonstrates our over all artistic abilitys better by having two or more group drawings.

From my point of view I like all the ideas, but as Silvos said we are here to help each other develop and advance with our drawing. I know as artists we will obviously favour certain types of art more than others, trust me I know! About 75% of my drawings are usually animals and its only recently I’m trying out anime style/humans…and I still don’t have much confidence in either!

Getting to the point why don’t we all try out both ideas as a clan based project? This way we all do at least one thing we are comfortable with and depending on which your comfortable with the second can be a challenge!
1) Silvos - Naruto based (Original or Shippuden?)
2) Ichi’s - favourite or original character based. (I think one or the other would be better ^^)

On top of that Naomi’s idea sounds good too in drawing ourselves but some people may be more willing than others to try it out.

I agree with ook. It sounds great to me...and also perhaps my idea would be better as an individual project. Anyone who wants to try and draw themselves as an anime character of some sort can create a picture and post it in the gallery.

Im just afraid that if we get to many group projects going that one may not get finished. I think that if we do both silvo and ichi's ideas that would be enough group projects....atleast for now.
