Default Becoming a Narutard
This may be kind of long. X.X

The first time I saw Naruto was when the first episode ever aired on CN some years ago when I was in 10th grade. I had seen previews for it and was interested in it, and that night no one was home but me and my sister so I was in control of the remote! I thought it was pretty interesting, but it turned out that was the only opportunity I had to watch 'cause my parents HATE anime. X_X

A couple times after that I got to watch parts of some episodes and became more interested in it. Over several months I only got snatches of what I didn't know at the time was the SAME episode. It was during those snatches of episodes that I saw a lot of awesomeness and became a fan.

After a while I started to dislike the show because the "Hero" was a complete idiot and didn't have half the power he thought he had. For a LOONG time I didn't like it. (Sasuke was arrogant, Sakura SUCKED, Naruto was an IDIOT, etc. etc.) Then I watched the hotel episode where Itachi tells Sasuke that he is weak (xD) and we liked it again. After a few episodes my boyfriend started to dislike it, then so did I. Then I DID like it again, and so did my boyfriend. Again. So he downloaded ALL the Naruto episodes to his compy, and we watched as far as Sarutobi being killed by Orochimaru, and his funeral, then my boyfriend didn't like it anymore. I refused to let him control my opinion about it, so I continued to like it.

But it REALLY wasn't till I started watching Shippuuden episodes that I became a hardcore fan of the show. All the characters who previously sucked now totally rocked. xD Now I'm fully obsessed, and so is my husband! WOO! There is NO turning back now! xD

Sorry that was so long... T_T Probably a lot of pointless stuff in it. >_< Sorry, you guys.

CN should also be kicked for viewing the same arc over and over again lol I remember what they did with DBZ and I said to myself,"**** CN, I'm gonna download the episodes and watch it on my PC!" Unfortunately, there are no other TV channels here besides CN to watch animes/cartoons.

'cause my parents HATE anime. X_X - that had to be frustrating =(
(Sasuke was arrogant, Sakura SUCKED, Naruto was an IDIOT, etc. etc.) - pretty good summary for all the 'naruto' episodes.
There is NO turning back now! xD - Indeed! =)


I saw it the same way, while it was on CN. Thankfully I got lucky and the first episode I saw 'was' the first episode, which almost never happens to me. None of my friends were interested in anime so I caught alot of crap, and it wasnt until I started watching/reading shippuden that I stopped feeling guilty about defending a "cartoon".

Yeah, it is really REALLY frustrating that my parents, especially my mom, hates anime. X_X She thinks it's EVIL, I, of course, disagree. There's some that is probably questionable, like all shows on TV, but I don't watch just any ol' anime that comes on. You'd think my parents would give me SOME credit, ya know?! Now, I DO have standards for the kinds of shows that I watch, and if I don't see a problem with it, I'll watch it. :\ (<--More pointlessness >_<)

Hahaha, yeah! A REALLY good summary! xD

I know, I hardly had any friends who knew about anime, so I didn't talk about it... or tell anyone that I watched it. xD It was my little secret. xD From everyone! Except for my original friend who told me about anime, and her sister. xD

well when i first saw it i hated it but then like a year later they played the first episode and i watched it plus the fact that i wanted to hear Konohamaru's voice made me more wanna watch it. (I wanted to hear Konohamaru's voice was cuz it used to be the same person who voices Pikachu whch Pokemon is my fav show.) That's how i got into it
