Landen rushed in right behind seth-raine. He had grabbed and electrocuted two guys, one in each hand, while seth-raine had landed on an enemy. Landen hadnt even looked around until he heard seth-raine almost apologizing. Landen turned around and realized just how outnumbered they were. Still he wasnt too scared. Landen still had all of his armor on, and arrows wouldnt go through it. What he had forgotten, due to his currently scattered mind, was the huge broken and cracked part in his chest plate.

Still Landen just smirked and said. "Dont worry seth" loading a large amount of lightning into one fist. "They are all standing in water so ill just shock them and see how many fall!" At that point one man changed targets and shot an arrow. Landen went to laugh but gasped instead. The man had aimed for the broken section on his chest plate. The arrow had gone through and lodged itself deep in landens chest. "S..shit...seth...i..im..sorry..." he said falling back. Landen figured with his last comment he had probably sealed both their fates. If he hadnt been so cocky they might have been able to talk their way out or escape. Landens head began to spin and he could feel the blood running down his chest under what was left of the cracked plating. Landen was just glad noir hadnt fallowed them. Atleast she could escape then and hopefully find a way to tell the others they were dead.

ooc: ok so I figured since he hadnt been seriously injured yet why not? lol...and I dont plan on killing him...landen just currently thinks hes going to die...lol

Even though Landen was glad she hadn't followed, there was nothing that gave her reason to stop doing so. Her friends were hurt and she was perfectly fine, she could use small elemental techniques and a swamp was loaded with her element. She thought there were only a couple, like the others, but she didn't rush in and kill anyone, simply... rushed in.

She opened her mouth in a silent gasp and stared wide-eyed at the army of people. She was shaking in her spot, but she didn't move. They were going to die, weren't they? And she didn't even have her voice to say anything before she died! Her eyes watered up as she stood there, shocked, and tears leaked down her cheeks. And to think they had all been excited for this adventure. It obviously proved to be too much for them.

Seth-Raine looked back. "WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING HERE YOU IDIOT!!" He shouted at Noir. "RUN GOD DAMMIT RUN!!" He screamed at her. "If you guys are gonna kill someone its going to be me. Just...Just let me tend to my friend here." Seth-Raine said as he leand down to Landen. None of the humans said anything.

Seth-Raine leaned down. "Come on man you can get outta this. You big lug. We'll make it out of here." He said a bit choked. "Your not gonna die here. No way no how." Seth-Raine said. "I got a plan." Seth-Raine whispered.

Seth-Raine laid Landen down slowly. He turned. "Look. We haven't come here to take you guys out or kill you. But we thought that guy was someone else." Seth-Raine said. Attempting to negotiate.

Landen heard seth-raine talk to him and noir run up. He had strted breathing hard. The arrow had barely missed his heart and hit his lung instead. "Seth..just...dont..d..die..." landen said to him. He felt seth-raine lay him down. Landen coughed for a moment, spitting up some blood.

He saw his life flash before his eyes. The more he watched of it the more he realized that he had nothing but seth and noir...that they were his only true friends...the only people he felt completely easy with. If nothing else he wanted them to escape. Before seth went to make his negotiations landen grabbed his leg and said. "If worse come....to worse...j..just run...and leave...me.." landen coughed again "Please...just do...that..f..for me.." landen said before letting go and letting seth-raine try to negotiate with the humans.

"Negotiation?", said Aer as he peered from behind the thicket of trees.

"Huh? Did you see them?", inquired Shen,

"Yes I have, they seem to be in a bit of trouble, don't they?", said Aer as he pointed across the bushes. When Shen saw what was happening, he grabbed the handle of his sword, but before even a fraction of the blade showed, Aer stayed his hand.

"Don't just rush in, we'll be dead if we do it foolishly",

"then how do we help them?", Aer then thought for a moment... Then after muttering a few words, a magic carpet appeared.

"And... What's Aladdin's favorite car going to do?", said Shen.

"It's not a car... Well, provide a distraction while I get those kids to have a ride on the carpet, I'll stay behind with you, this carpet can't take much weight", and with that agreed, Shen began to inch closer as the "negotiations" began to unfold.

"What if the negotiation works?", asked Shen.

"Well, no need to do anything is there?", with that, Shen grunted a bit as he watched on.

Seth-Raine listened to his friends words. He didn't plan on dying at all. He was going to kill them and make his escape with Landen. "Seriously, What are you even killing us for? Do you even know?" Seth-Raine asked the humans. "Yeah we do ya damn freak." One of the people said. "We're not freaks at all! Were the same as you!" Seth-Raine shouted.
He still hadn't noticed Shen and Aer there yet. "Yer nothing close to us ya damn Soul Eater!" One of the humans said. Soul Eater? What the hell were the humans being told?

"Im not a soul eater at all!" Seth-Raine shouted in defence. The humans took a few stepss forward. Seth-Raine began to sweat nervously. "Oh boy..." He thought. "Look...I don't know why you look down on us. Just because we practiced magicks? We've learned to heal our people faster and much cleaner. We could help you!" Seth-Raine said anxiously.

"How about we just keel'ya instead huh?" One of the humans said. Some chuckling was heard from the back. "Oh man...Im done for." Seth-Raine said. Taking a step back.

malakai crept through the fogs of the swamp of illusions quietly. some other mystics had been cornered by them. his shoulder length brown hair trailing behind him. he crept through a few bushes and ended up behind the human brigade. "lets see if i can help these guys." malakai said to himself silently. he drew his acanth great bow and loaded an arrow. it was a blunt arrow with the magickal sign for petrification. if it hit the enemy it would petrify them, fall off and become nothing more then an arrow. he had to keep the 4 he had specially wrapped.

he smiled a white toothed smile. and took aim at the people in the back. he had a seperate quiver for his bows. he had 80 of normal bows and 4 petrification bows. he carried so few because he used them on people he really disliked. which was rare to find. which was also part of the reason he never really used them.

"cornering mystics and insulting them like that? tsk tsk....sorry for you." malakai said as he drew back an arrow and aimed high up. he shot the next 3 in quick succession. only changing the degrees he moved, left and right. 4 people were hit and a quick panic struck the humans as malakai watched from a distance.

Noir realized someone else was attacking the humans, and she thought he was the biggest idiot. They were still outnumbered, it made no sense! He was just ASKING for them to get killed, they could do it rather quickly.

Noir was still convinced they'd die, so she rushed in and quickly grabbed a blade from one of the humans, He almost did something until he realized she was pointing the sharp edge at herself, her own arm. She started to dig the blade in, closing her eyes tightly, before she started to literally write into her own arm, carving letters into the flesh, blood seeping out. When she was done, she dropped the blade and blood dripped down her arm.

She held it out for both Landen and Seth-Raine to see. She carved "love" in her own arm, it was the only thing she could technically say in her conditions, and knowing they were on the verge of being killed.

It was then that Shen realized the negotiation had failed, and it seems that Aer had realized to. With the flash of his blade, Shen's arms swung in one fluid motion, combined with his wind-sped legs, the human who was walking towards Seth, was cut short as his chest was cut open. Taking a glance at Seth and Landen for a moment, and then right after, he whipped his sword beside him once, and as he did, the blood that stained his blade flew right off. The humans backed away a little, as Shen began to concentrate wind into his entire body, only a bit, to keep his motions as fluid and water-like as possible. And with the roaring cries of the humans, Shen began to fight with master level skill.

~Aer~
"Well, that's that...", thought the chatty mage. Aer was apparently floating over to Landen and Seth, and as he stopped the carpet, and lowered to a suitable height, that made it easy to place Landen onto the carpet, he then began to speak.

"Well well, what do we have here? Don't talk, I just wanted to say that", said Aer as he hopped off of his carpet.

"Just heave old Landen onto the carpet and you two can get going, this thing can't take too much weight, so you guys go on ahead", he said as he grabbed Landen's legs, to help Landen's injured body onto the blue, green carpet.

Seth-Raine helped Aer put Landen on the carpet. "Lets get the hell out of here before this gets any worse!" Seth-Raine said anxiously and grabbed Noir and ran out of the forest. He turned. "If your telling me you love me now is not the time! Maybe when we have a more private moment, Me you and landen can talk about it!" Seth-Raine told her. He quickly brought her out to what looked like a clearing or seemed like one.

He looked around frantically and couldn't see anything. This god damn mist made everything so difficult. He ran with her behind a tree and sighed and took a huge breath.
"We almost didn't make it out...." Seth-Raine said huffing and puffing.
"This is officially the worst day ever..." Seth-Raine muttered.
