Noir gasped and covered her hand in front of her mouth as if being quiet would have changed something, though she knew it really wouldn't. She took a step back, her eyes widening as if that would help her see better, which it didn't.

"G-get me out of here..." She whispered quietly. She was scared, which was only to be expected.

Pronyma rolled her eyes at Calian's comment. "Well I DO have one..." She muttered, following him into the swamp. When she could hear the other's ahead, she stopped and said a quiet 'shh.'
She could tell the group had stopped, and if they got too close, they would know for sure that they were being followed, and wouldn't end up leading them to where they wanted to go.

Not a single sound came for sometime. Suddenly some water washed up to Seth-Raines feet. Something was closing in on them. He was entering a state of panic. Seth-Raine had only done this once before. Some years ago he was in a dark forest in a similiar situation. Except he was going to be killed by another assassin.

Seth-Raine's heart raced. He was breathing a bit loudly. "Its so hot out here." He said. He took off his shirt the best he could and drew his blade. A very low growl could be heard. It wasn't a normal animals growl either. The water washed against his feet again. He closed his eyes and prepared for the worst.

And in the two went, with the strong smell of the thick swamp that lay before them, both Aer and Shen walked behind the group. Apparently they were all being quite childish about braving the mist. Human thieves? They were just petty thieves, and knowing humans, greed was something common. Though Aer admits, even among his kind. It was only after a short walk, that a strange, foreboding noise was heard, it felt as if it came from every direction as everyone quickly felt their minds go on edge. Shen's senses remained as strong as ever, while Aer began to feel a little more paranoid.

"Yes, I hear something...", he replied. It was clear, that everyone, even Seth was on edge.

The water was acting strange, already he felt a malicious presence. By this time, Aer had already found out that there was clearly danger in staying in this swamp, and already he was muttering away as Shen felt magical power surround the magician. With Shen's blade drawn and some unknown protective spells cast by Aer, it was clear that there was mortal danger, though what's adventure without it?

"Sorry but I don't think the thieves will be out problem now" Kagaro said pointing an arrow at the water. He was unsure if it would be the serpent but he had to be ready or he'd be killed a long with the group. "This early? we've only been in here for a few minutes"

Calian Laughed a bit "You know how to turn me on" He said before hearing the group from before ahead of them. "Heh, to easy" He muttered. But he also noticed a ripple in the water making him unsure of what it was.

Landens short moment of calm was completly broken when seth-raine started talking about the black serpent again. Landen had picked up on the panic in seth-raines voice when he started asking if shen or aer had done anything to the water. Landen started breathing alittle harder out of slight panic. The panic he was going through hadnt degraded to fear yet, though it wouldnt take much. Though when he heard something fall in the distance landen felt like his heart had stopped.

"Seth...buddy...I dont think they did anything...." landen mummbled after a moment. He had the feeling that something was coming. Something bad. Fear finaly did take landen and every muscle in his body told him to run but his feet were glued to the ground.

He heard noir say she wanted out of there. Landen gained alittle more confidence at that point. There was no way he could run. His friends needed him. Though the strong fear in him still had complete control. "Guys...we need to get out of here...we have to get out of here..." he said quietly after a moment. His own voice shaking which was a dead give away that he had even gotten scared at that point. Axe still lifted in s defensive stance landen took a step back then listened to see if he could hear anything.

There was a low growl and small bit of water washed up to landen feet like it had been caused by a huge ripple.

"Landen, show some more backbone, you should have plenty, I'm sure Seth here agrees that we didn't come in here, just to turn back", said Shen. He felt it, impact from a far off distance, the sound of the rippling water, that felt as if it was alive, the feeling of magic surrounding the group as Aer was finishing his protective charms, the nervousness of his company. And Noir's little, frightened cries. It was these elements that gave adventure it's name, to have an adventure, one must conquer fear, and penetrate the darkness of their path.

Something was here... And it wasn't too far off

"Oh shut up shen! I didnt mean leave the mission I ment get the hell out of this area! It wont do any good to have a mission if we die!" landen said. He kept his voice down but you could tell he had just about snapped. He had heard who he figured was aer mumbling and now he could feel some sort of magic pressence around him. It was probobly some sort of protective charm. Landen took another deep breath to calm down again. Whatever was coming was coming and there was obviously no stopping it. They would just have to deal with it.
