OOC: Well let's move on... at least 1 more day until we all meet...

The forest's darkness was uncomfortable, even to Karasu who had navigated through many dark places, he felt many movements around him, though he comforted to himself that the closest movements were his companions. It felt like an eternity in the darkness, and apparently he was holding onto a soft hand, well looks like he's holding onto Leanah, and behind her he guessed was Kirin. Moving on through the vast forest, Karasu at some point felt he was lost, and with reluctance moved through.

Eventually they saw a bit of light. The exit, and finally too, letting go of Leanah's hand as he was sure she'd see the light too, and that goes the same for Kirin. When he reached the exit, it was like walking out of some cave, but it looked more like an ancient ruin, looking around, he saw a large ancient stone pad in the middle, could fit maybe at least thirty people on it. Marking the corners were four pillars, overgrown with vegetation like the stone pad, half of them were cut down to size, the ones that were tallest were fairly cracked in most areas. Looking around, there were an assortment of ruined buildings, looks like they stumbled upon some ancient ruin,

"I expected to find something else... there must be something here, otherwise i wouldn't have felt that yearning".

Garret had spent his time wandering the fort and the area surrounding it. After getting bored with that, he decided to join the one man on the wall who greeted him with an arrow just over his head when he first stumbled into this old fort. Since he had nothing better to do, Garret thought that helping to guard the rest of the people in the fort would be something.

He would have left the fort by now, but something kept telling him to stay put, to not leave. It was as if he was naturally drawn to it, or that if he left, he'd miss something important.

Kirin cursed under his breath as he felt both of his spears crumbling in his hands as he leapt back from the beast drawing his third spear. But by the time he was ready to attack the beast was dead, at this point the glanced in Karasu’s direction as he wondered how an assassin, a killer of humans would know so much about beasts. With that he turned to the griffin with a sigh as he noted there was nothing left of his spears to salvage. But before turning to the others he knelt by its head and plucked one of its long feathers and folded it carefully in a cloth. You should’ve hidden in the shadows, my proud friend. He said as he tucked the cloth away before rising.

At the other mans comment on being able to see in the dark he frowned as he pulled off his mask and scarf. “Don’t underestimate me, I wasn’t brought up blind to my senses.” He said flatly as he smeared his spear tip with the spilt Griffons blood. The man knew this in itself would deter most beasts, What wouldn’t fear something that killed one of the top predators of this forest? As they started to walk he lightly touched Leanah’s shoulder, “I’m behind you.” He said simply before falling back as he used the vibrations of the ground to follow the others. In the meantime he also focused on the are around them to make sure they weren’t followed.

The darkness reminded him of the caves he was brought up in, either way he had to admit that even the spirits here seemed dark giving it all a sombre mood. There’s light up ahead, He thought with a smile as he noted the artificial collection of stones ahead. As they finally reached it his eyes scanned the ground for any markings as he scouted the area. “There’s nothing here but beasts and plants…all the stone here was cut long ago.” With a look up at his companions, “Do you two know anything of this place or that flat central stone?” He asked as his grasp tightened on his spear.

"I know nothing of this place... But something's here... care to search these ruined houses?", Karasu replied, jumping onto the nearest stone, getting a quick view of the surrounding area. Looks like they went through the only entrance to this area, there was a giant stone wall circulating around their area, but it was hidden by quite a few trees, making it seem part of the forest. The stone pad in the middle has a few paths coming out of it, well he wasn't into historical stuff, this world never cared for it, but he knew they stumbled on some lost technology of some sort, well whatever's here, he can take.

"It looks... Magical." She said, dazed. It was, in a way, sad, how such a beautiful place could become so desolate. She walked into one of the old stone houses, the quaint grey stone covered in thin vines, dotted with small pink blossoms. It was wrecked, the entire building in shambles. She went back out to the center stone to her companions. "I wonder who could've lived here..." She said, looking around.

OOC: Right now... just find some random things around here... like a new minor weapon >_> Yea we'll get to places like this... And for the people of the Fort

The silence of the forest, it was constant so not a thing could be seen or heard when looking out into the forest. But that made things easier for the sentries, if they see anything move, alert the base, and alerting they must do. A horde of Time Beasts were charging, a full charge of wolf-like ones, in combination with bear and the smaller snake types. Among them were the larger and looming spiders, it was a whole charge.

The alarm was sounded, "Time Beasts! A full force! All magic users and anyone who can attack from a range, go upstairs and begin open fire immediately! All melee fighters, hold the fort!". It was a state of panic but some people managed to keep their cool as they walked up the stairs, the people who could not fight were evacuated to the basement, and those who could walked outside the fort, and there they faced the charging beasts. Already the magic users and ranged fighters were beginning the defensive barrages, blades of wind hit first, slicing apart limbs and sometimes heads, the limbs disappeared while the ones who got their heads taken disappeared altogether, then thunder hit, making explosions if they did not hit, and causing the ones who did get hit to disappear, and quickly following was fire, some engulfed the targets, the others were just small shots. After all that, a wall of Earth was lifted in front of the first assault, from the top you could see all the earth magicians creating a large box type of wall, and then the whole frontal force was boxed in, and just as quickly, the water magicians began to quickly fill it with water. The thunder magicians were up this time, blasting thunder onto the water, they managed to take out all the time beasts in the earthen box. The earth magicians then let go of the back box, that faced the opposing force, causing a flood the pushed the opposing forces back, it looks like the earth magicians had done their job, their exhaustion was high, but they did their job. The rest was up to the melee fighters and the other 4 magician elements, among them were a few light magicians and black magicians. The remaining Time Beasts began their charge, and behind them a newer force had arrived, it looks like all the Time Beasts of the area had found their food.

OOC: Kinda like zombies, they hunt out food, and then attack it all at once in an all out assault

(Hey, Ichi, isn't it time we all leveled up or something...? And I guess I could stumble upon a weapon... I thought that this would've been a cooler weapon than the sword in the beginning, but the RP had already started...)

Leanah combed through the houses some more, the tranquility almost possessing her. When she finally reached the one on the top of a hill, she caught her breath. There, hanging on a silver plaque, was a shining silver trident, fit for combat. Leanah was stunned by it's beauty, the shining silver engravings, the pristine white accents of the shaft, the sharpened and polished tips, it was truly a work of art. It looked like it was suited to her, small, yet powerful, not too clumsy or heavy, and easily maneuverable. She picked it up, and went back outside to show Karasu and Kirin.

"I think..." She said, stopping as she saw the weapon once again. "I think I have found a new weapon." Leanah said. She had taken a small strip of leather from the house, and tied it together in a way that she could wear it like a sash on her back, and slip the weapon through the knot tying the ends together, so the tips were just above her head. She held the weapon loosely in her hands, and went through swinging motions as if she were fighting some imaginary monster. She was a natural, as if she had been practicing for at least a year. After a small while, she put it away, and continued searching.

(I've figured that the trident was owned originally by another white mage, and her magic was attracted to Leanah's thus creating an immediate bond with her.)

(We'll actually be getting new weapons as we go on... though your limit to how many weapons you can carry depends on what weapons you hold, trident has been approved... just send me it's name and i'll add it, but you're only allowed to find one weapon in places like this)

"So you found some sort of trident huh?... Well let's take another look around, we might be able to find something of our own", Karasu said, a little eager too, then with that he jumped off into the nearest house, and landing silently like always.

The house was mostly gone, made of a fine marble. Nothing special, but something caught his eye, a glint of a blade? there couldn't be someone else here, otherwise he'd have felt the presence, and then he saw it. Nothing elaborate, but now he can dual wield, walking up to the stone table, he picked it up, a curved dagger, and still hella sharp too, and conveniently, it came with it's own holster.

(O_o you guys post 5.30-7.30am well UK time…sorry for the wait!)

At the mention of searching the houses Kirin simply nodded as he used his spear to push back and cut through the overgrown vegetation. As he reached the first house he scavenged through what was left inside, with a total disregard to the ancient things. His method was to carelessly brush things aside to search it, whilst breaking a few pots and jars along the way as he picked up some minor things of interest. In time he’d passed through a few houses without much luck, before he reached a house with a blocked entrance. Here he touched the outer wall and with a glance back to make sure he was alone he used one of his techniques to merge briefly into the stone wall and pass inside.

As he entered the building he coughed at the stale dusty air as he pulled his mask up. This house holds more than the others… He thought to himself as he passed into a backroom and found a small collection of weaponry and oddly shaped rusting armour. Here he ignored the swords and un stringed bows, as well as the small daggers and shields. Then amongst the junk he found a weapon more suited to him tucked into a far corner.

Unlike the waist high spears he was used to he spear he held was as tall as him, but was strangely light and well balanced at the same time. The main pole was made of natural wood tipped with a knot formation at its base. This helped balance the spear tip, which was expertly made out a strange mixture of stone and minerals. Its centre was mainly made out of an earthy green-brown stone, whilst the edges were extremely sharp and was made up with shiny clear mineral. After testing it strength it seemed indestructible as it dented the toughest of metal. “I couldn’t think of a better earth weapon…though how they made this I can’t even hope to imagine…I wonder how the wood didn‘t decay over time…” He wondered to himself as he exited the house the same way he entered.

As the clear air hit him he coughed lightly as he pulled down his mask and patted down his clothing, before heading out to meet Leanah. “That’s a fine weapon you hold there wise woman…you use it well,” He remarked in surprise. “It seems this place hold many secretes…but all the possessions seem strange to me. Are they things you’ve seen before?” Kirin asked quizzically, as he wondered whether they understood some of the strange things they contained.

With his spear in hand like a walking staff he headed back to study the flat platform from earlier. At the same time he could feel the earth that’d been integrated into most of the spear as he wondered whether he could eventually use this to his advantage.
