Despite Kirin’s casual stance and tone his sharp eyes picked on the other man’s reactions. This was a normal thing for him, whether it the prey he hunted or with people he met, even if he had no intention of fighting them. Then as the other man bared his hands openly Kirin whirled his spear and placed it back in his waist quiver and returned the peaceful gesture. “Well met Shadow-foot,” The man said lightly with a good natured smile which creased the tribal markings on his face. “I am Kirin Talon, a Night Spear of the Black Cliffs sept, of the Nakai tribe. But in this world I’m known as a hunter.” He finished off lightly with a slight tap of the large bag. “I hope it wasn’t the lizard meat that drew you here,” He said with a chuckle. “I’d spent all night soaking that bag to keep away fellow meat eaters” The man joked as he finished off his apple in hand.

Unlike those of the towns and villages he wasn’t one to judge by appearances, for within the tribe it wasn’t the way one dressed or looked that determined what sort of person he/she was. To him personally the only way to judge a person was to see the way he fought during a friendly spar or hunted. Either way he judged now wasn’t the best time, and it wouldn’t be the first time someone had misunderstood his intentions.

Karasu instantly and completely eased himself, he smiled slightly, slowly walking toward the two, then he began to speak as his feet silently treaded the ground, and once again, he couldn't help but step silently.

"I only hope you won't freak and attack me once i say who i am and what i do, take that as a light warning", he said, he stopped at around a few metres away from the two,

"I am Karasu Chishio, here i am a quiet hermit, who is isolated for reasons of my past profession", he said, then he paused for a moment, not making any movements that could be seen as suspicious,

"a professional assassin".

Leanah inhaled slightly and sharply. An assassin... Here... But I shouldn't be judgmental, he said he no longer pursued that profession... Unaware of what to say, she stayed silent.

Their words and reactions surprised Kirin slightly, as this Karasu offered them a warning from a distance. This was when followed by the other mans announcement , whilst he seemed to be controlling his own movements. All of which resulted in a act of surprise from the wise woman, followed on by silence. It doesn’t matter how many times I meet these kind of people they still confuse me… He thought to himself as he maintained a blank expression.

Suddenly he drew his spear and whirled it round single-handedly before bursting out in laughter at their reaction. “Peace Peace, I have no need to fight with a past hunter of men, though I could never see the joy of doing it for money.” He chuckled lightly, “I’d rather bet my life to tangle spears with a enemy or a beast, than do so for another’s gain and for the money. So many of you people live your lives around it…or should I say used to , eh shadow foot?” With that he tossed his spear high earning him a couple more apples impaled to its tip, on its decent he headed away from the pair and deftly caught the weapon before returning back to them.

“So my past hunter of men, why did you choose that life and why did it lead to your journey here?” Kirin asked conversationally as he checked his own latest kill. “Hmm how about we talk over lizard meat before this guy starts to taste more of fruit? Or before it attracts unwanted attention from the forest.” He said lightly as he glanced back at the forest.

The unease from the girl was expected, but the man seemed to be one to joke about most things. Karasu smiled, walking over towards the two, he replied to the spearman's question, he had nothing to hide anyways, assassination was to him, only his past,

"Well, i chose that life since it was the best thing i can do, it wasn't enjoyable when i killed without a challenge, but when i get a challenge, i may very well go crazy", he said, before jumping up into the tree the lady and the man sat by, he jumped up, and grabbed the branch, then did a swing and let go when he was swinging upwards, and like usual, he lands on his feet, as silently as ever,

"Oh and i hope you don't mind that i like high places, also if my silence is a little uncomfortable, i can't help it", he said as he began to lie down on the branch.

Kirin listened to the other mans words genuinely interested as to why a man would choose that sort of life. “How about now shadow foot, do you still have the lust to kill? How about that reaction or should I say instinct to a challenge?” He said lightly as he searched for dry branches and stones, before he placed them together and formed a large fire. At this point he waited for the other mans reply before heading down to the river leaving the other two alone.

At the river he pulled out a pouch of small knives and skinned, gutted and removed the teeth and claws of the lizard. With no intention of wasting anything he washed out most of it and placed the different parts into separate pouches. He then paced most of the meat and the mostly intact skin back into his large bag and carried it back. “I should be doing this early on in the day not this late in the afternoon,” He muttered to himself as he cut up and spitted a large chuck of the meat to roast over the fire. With practiced ease he hung the lizard skin on a low branch that was positioned over the fire to dry it out, before bagging up the rest of the meat.

Briefly ignoring the pair he walked to the base of the nearest tree, whirled his spear before sticking the point into the ground. “Mud pit,” He said calmly as the manipulated earth briefly changed in consistency. At this point he securely tied it all in the fruit smelling bag and submerged the excess meat. Soon after the ground solidified and he marked it with a cross of his spear.

With a grin the young looking man returned and turned the meat on the spit, “So what were we talking about?”

"Nope, none at all, though right now i just waste the days here, eating apples and other fruits of sorts", Karasu replied, then after listening to his reply, the man walked off, well at least he should get their names he thought, lieing down in the tree, he glanced down towards the lady,

"Hey, you've been awfully silent, may i ask for your name at least?", he said asking as politely as possible.

OOC: She seems so shy now... She's not, I just forgot to post. ...Lol... Pretend ten minutes HAVN'T passed since she last spoke...

"Leanah Alacqua, is my name, sir." She said, with a light curtsy.

The smell of the cooking meat filled the air, the scent carrying through the forest. Before she knew it, there was a large rustling in the foliage around them. The large beast, nearly five feet tall, came hurdling through the underbrush, straight towards them. She quickly grabbed her blade, and readied her magic.

(I'm sorry, but all the talking was getting boring...)

As expected of a white magician he thought to himself, with curtsy and such politeness, right now, it was as if she hadn't even heard that he was an assassin. The food's smell was strong, wait that was bad, realising they were far too close to the forest he glanced towards the forest edge. Nothing, not a single sound, but he thought too soon, already a large, 5 foot tall beast ran straight out. Looks like the white magician named Leanah already prepared, then looking to the man with the spear,

"before we fight this thing, please, give me your name", the beast was a good ten seconds away, just enough time to get a brief introduction from the man.
