What is an avatar?

An avatar is an image you can seen beside your username.

How do I upload or change my avatar?

Go to your UserCP -> Settings & Options (at the left side) -> Edit Avatar.

You can either enter the URL of the image you want as an avatar or you can upload from your computer. First you must upload it on an image hosting site, such as Imageshack or Photobucket, then copy the code suitable for forums.

What are the avatar size limits?

The maximum size of your custom image is 160 by 150 pixels or 1.43 MB (whichever is smaller).

Why isn't my avatar/signature appearing?

Go to UserCP -> Settings & Options -> Edit Options and make sure you have “Show Avatar” and “Show Signature” checked in your User Options.

What is a signature?

A signature is a group of images, words, etc that is shown under your posts.

How do I put something in my signature?

Option 1: Go to User CP -> Settings & Options -> Edit Signature. Near the bottom of the page, there are two options where you can either paste the URL of the image or upload an image from your computer.

Option 2: Type whatever you want to appear in your signature in the text box.

Option 3: If it’s an image, go to UserCP -> Settings & Options -> Edit Signature. Paste the code into the text box. Click Save Signature.

What are the rules for a signature/avatar?

Forum rules still apply in signatures. No swearing, flaming, trolling, spoilers and R-18 stuff.

I don't want to see avatars or sigs anymore.

UserCP -> Settings & Options -> Edit Options. Under Thread Display Options, uncheck "Show Avatars" and "Show Signatures".

I also want to block images.

Uncheck "Show Images", too.

Yes, in fact you can. Make a new thread in this section Signature or Avatar request - Naruto - TailedFox Forum and be sure to have some sort of information on what you want. Also, don't bump it if it has not been replied. It may take few days for the graphics member to accept the request.

What are the ranks for post count and how many posts do I need to obtain them?

Under your username, you can see if you're already a "Genin", "Chuunin", etc. in this forum based on your post count. To get a higher rank, you must increase your post count. Don't spam just to get a higher rank, though. You may end up getting banned or have some of your posts deleted by staff members.

How do I edit my post?

Look for the post you want to edit and at the bottom right corner of your post is the Edit button.

How do I quote a post?

Look for the post you want to edit and at the bottom right corner of your post is the Quote button.

How do I post something inside a spoiler box?

[Spoiler]Whatever you want here[./Spoiler]. *Just remove the period*

How do I view my public profile?

Click on your avatar, or click on your username.

How can people post even though it says they are offline?

It's because they are in "invisible" mode.

How do I use invisible mode?

UserCP -> Settings & Options -> Edit Options. Check "Use Invisible Mode".

How do I make a new thread?

Go to the subforum where you want to post your new thread. Near the start/bottom of the subforum is the "New Thread" button. Make sure that the topic you want to start haven't been done yet.

How do I add a poll?

When creating a new thread, scroll down and you will see additional options you can add to your thread. Check "Yes, post a poll with this thread". You can add up to 10 poll options.

Can I add attachments to my new thread/post?

Yes. Under the additional options, there is an option where you can add attachments. Click the Manage Attachments button. You can either upload from your computer or upload file from an URL. Types of files allowed, maximum file sizes and dimensions can be found below the upload section.

How do I post images?

Upload the image somewhere (Imageshack, Photobucket, etc.) and paste the code for forums in the text box when replying to a thread/creating a thread.

What are Private Messages?

These are messages that you can send to a member so that only the two of you can read it instead of posting and letting the whole forum see it.

How many PM's can I store?

You are allowed to store 50 messages in you PM's.

How do I report a post to a staff member?

At the upper right portion of the post you want to report, there is a Report button (a triangle with an exclamation point inside it)., or you can send a PM to a staff.

How do I report an abusive member to a staff?

PM a staff.

What is the ChatBox?

It's the thing you can see at near the top when you view the main page of the forum. It's a quick way to talk to anybody who's online. Posts don't count in the ChatBox.

I too would like to thank you for spending time on it, Sakura. It really helps the newer people, and I've referred to it once or twice myself. (Including just now about the ninja ranks)

A thing about the rankings though; I think it's something like:
6th Hokage = Goes to special people, like maybe mods or charter members...?
ANBU = 1000+ posts
Jounin = 500+
Chuunin = 250+ or 300+
Genin = 50+
