What exactly do you mean "hybrid metal looking dude?" XD

If you're talking about Father, then I suppose he's bout the same thing as Dante was in the old anime. I figure it will be more interesting though. I thought the whole Xing thing was pretty interesting. Does anyone know if it's based off of China, Japan or a combination of the two?

Xing is nation ruled by emperor on the far side of great desert. Not much is known about it, because it's so far from Amestris.
Contents

Xing is to the east of Amestris, separated from it by the great desert. There is also a water route to Xing from Amestris, but it is considered to be "the long, but easy way around".
edit Culture

Xing is ruled by emperors who take wife from every clan of Xing, giving every clan chance to get to power. However, most clans are very small and it is not uncommon that rival clans make assasination attempts against rival princes or princesses. Two known clans are the Yao-clan, from which Ling Yao, Ran Fan and Fu come from and Mei Chans clan. The clans seem to be rivals, as Mei Chan and Ran Fan fight in Dr. Knox apartment.
edit Technology

Xing have developed hand grenade-like weapons that come in many variations, ranging from flashbangs to explosives. Xing don't seem to use firearms, as Fu was clearly shocked to see how powerful cannon can be.
edit Alchemy

Xing don't use alchemy like amestrisians, instead they use it to medical purposes. They haven't discovered a way to use alchemy in war. Also, unlike amestrisians, they believe their alchemical powers come from earths veins, called "the veins of dragon".

* Xing is kind of FMA version of China, as people are very skilled in martial arts and have invented portable explosives.

Not really...the father has nothing to do with metal

I think his name is Greed, just couldn't remember his name when I posted last. Well, the father of the brothers I guess are the main villain. No surprises there....

Lol to be fair, Greed has nothing to do with metal either. Anyway, I liked Greed in the original series, and I like him now. Sorta wish he played a larger role in this one. :\

Anyway, his fight with Bradley was awesome, The King's fighting style is done way better in this one then in the original series. He's a total badass.

I'm glad the anime finally got over the old stuff quickly. Now we're going to see some neat stuff.
