(Is it appropriate to discuss that here? I mean... it's not seperate from Brotherhood, right? My apologies if it is... feel free to move or delete as you see fit, oh mighty moderators, ha ha.)

I have been dying to have this discussion with someone other than my friendgirl (she got me into FMA, which is nice, but she doesn't like talking to me about it because any criticism I make she bounces back with a quick "Arakawa IS GOD")

Did anyone read 95 and find it a bit... less... than it could have been?

I mean, Envy's death is totally a big deal. Lots of drama there with Roy trying to get revenge, and Liza trying to save him from that... Scar telling Ed to save him from that... but come on... denying Roy the finishing blow all the sudden, Liza forcibly stopping him, and him losing his cool like that... it all seemed out of character and a bit forced.

In my "opinion" (have to be careful here, ha ha), it would have been much more effective to have Roy winding up for the final blow, Ed yells at him not to, and all of the sudden BANG, Liza shoots Envy for Roy.

Then Roy would blow up at her for taking away his chance at vengence, and she could have her somewhat teary "I couldn't let you go where I can't follow", but it would be way more in character...


Anyways. Just a thought. Looks like 96 is out now. Wahoo!
