Thumbs up Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood now open!
Yes, at Tailedfox forums after various popular demands and requests...we've went ahead and opened up this section just for all Full Metal Alchemist fans for the new series "Brotherhood".

Ya, this took a while for me to actually do it since I just got really tied up with everything. Nevertheless, it's up and for those of you that have no idea what FMA is...just watch it. It's one of the legendary animes comparable to all other popular animes we've got its own section up. (Bleach, Naruto, One Piece, etc...)

I'm new to these forums but i have seen the original FMA anime series, which i really enjoyed, but hated the film...I started reading the manga lately as i heard there was a new series out. So many people have said the new series is based on the manga, but what i have read of the manga so far is exactly as it was in the original series, with Rose, Chimera, Train incident etc...So when exactly does this new series take over from that and where in the manga did the original series drift from?

Sooner or later you will notice the change. I don't read the manga so I have no clue on exactly when that will be.

Keep watching this new series and you will find out.

Well the first fma drift away from the manga about 24 episode in. In the manga it is roy who kill lust but in the first Fma she was seal by wrath so their will be a lot of different thing and FMABH that was not in the first show. And mastaz911 your right this is one of the legends of anime i wish more people would see that.

Well, I am finally on chapter 22 and still no change but judging by what hokage4 has said it should come about soon enough...I will keep trying to find new episodes to watch and be patient! There must be loads of differences then as the manga wasn't finished when they completed the anime, so completely different i assume...

Change was already when Al and Ed went to Capital by train to get State Alchemist status. In manga Ed was already State Alchemist when that happend and in manga there were no Mustang men's on the train. And what about Scar and Dr. Marco. They met first time when Dr Marco was been held captive by humoniculos.

When does (or did it?) come out. I watched the original FMA and I would love to watch this. Btw i've been away from the forums for a LOOONG time, so iv'e missed a lot in terms of anime in general.
